Went with the wife and her family. Had a brilliant time. Lots of activities for kids. Would like to see a little more for the adults to do. The swimming pool was good but looked a little run down. Accommodation was good although we didn't have hot water one morning was quickly fixed by the staff. Would still happily go back.

Nestled right by the sea, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with a perfect blend of atmosphere, service, and cuisine. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking ocean views that create a serene backdrop, especially at sunset. The food is exceptional, crafted with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Each dish is a perfect balance of flavour, presentation, and creativity, whether it’s seafood or more traditional fare. From the delicate starters to the decadent desserts, every course is a culinary delight. The service is truly imperial. The staff is attentive yet unobtrusive, with a deep knowledge of the menu and wine pairings. They make you feel like royalty without being overbearing, ensuring your every need is met with a smile. Lan Y Mor restaurant offers not just a meal, but an experience. With its fantastic food, impeccable service, and awe-inspiring location, it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-tier seaside dining experience.

10/10! Visited for drinks on one occasion and enjoyed those and the view and ambience. Visited again for food and drinks: hake burger, a burger of the week, a beer and wine: all 100% Love the curved chips 👌 Very similar in feel, quality and ambience to the harbourmaster in aberaeron, with even better view. Spot on 👍

Absolutely amazing from start to finish, great friendly service, comfy surroundings and most importantly food was amazing. Perfect portions, mouth watering with a multitude of tastes to wow the tastebuds. From the goats cheese and hollumi starters to the Rossini and fillet steak, everything cooked and presented to perfection. Thank you so much, and see you soon.

Went to the Morlais today for a Sunday roast one of the worst meals I have ever had. When I booked I was sure to mention that we needed 1 gluten free meal as an allergy not an intolerance. My husband meal was served without mash potatoes or gravy as they didn't have gluten free roast potatoes were deep fat fried not roast. Stuffing balls were dripping in oil having also been deep fried . My vegetable were cold , very disappointed as the restaurant was not busy. Waited over an hour to be served our food. Sorry won't be visiting again.

After arriving at Fishguard I quickly looked up where to go for fish and chips and read some reviews. Hooked @31 came up. Now in the area there are some strong scores so I was not sold by the rating and thought I'd do a "footfall" test first. This is to sit outside and see how many people go in and out. Well people were like ants. Shooting in and shooting out. So I went in and ordered 2 fish boxes, one with Cod and one with Haddock. I also ordered the cheese and onion fritter. Now they came with mushy peas (you could have chosen something else), tartar sauce and a wedge of lemon. We drove down to Fishguard dock to eat them which was about 4 mins away. The food is amazing and well worth the reviews. The fish is perfectly battered and the chips were amazing. The fish was so fresh and flavoursome and the portion size was just right. It's one of the best I've had so I would recommend it.

A suggestion on your service level. Most of your customers today were pensioners, who found it difficult to get in and out of the bench seating. To save them trouble why don't you supply them with cutlery wrapped up in a serviette when serving the food. My husband had a soup today with no spoon supplied! Even though there is a notice saying to collect your own cutlery and condiments,it comes over as quite rude and unhelpful to be told you have to get your own. The condiments could be placed in small pots on the tables, as most cafe's do. Also please could you tell your serving staff to be a bit more obliging. You need to improve on your service level to keep up your award winning status.
