Me and my boyfriend come here often and cannot fault it everytime. Always a lovely quiet atmosphere, good quality food and excellent service. What more can you ask for! Thank you to everyone at the Bryngwyn keep up the good work!

Honestly, what an excellent time I had here. Food is incredible, staff are friendly and more than helpful. Definitely will return and recommend to everyone.

The delightful meal and cosy ambiance made the steak an exceptional experience. It was perfectly cooked, avoiding any chewiness and delivering a delightful taste. I highly recommend booking this establishment.

Food gorgeous no complaints and the staff fab. Unfortunately won't b able to call again which is a shame it is supposed to be suitable for disabled but when we arrived my heart sank they have done a slope there in unfortunately it is so steep there was no was I could manage to walk up. Then on the other side there are four steep steps again struggled on managed as I had my friend helping me by Pushing me up from behind but then when we left couldn't come down. The staff young boys were marvellous couldn't do enough for us . If there was only another way it could have been designed. Sorry guys

It’s so lovely here with a really lovely ambiance. Had lunch here and the staff couldn’t do more for us, especially with our baby! The food is delicious and pretty good value for money. We didn’t wait long for the food and they were very good portion sizes! Love the chicken tikka stack!

Disappointing - used to be excellent. Won't be going back. Clearly cost cutting has reduced the menu to awful especially the burgers.

Went here for food with a few of my friends and once again it was lovely! We always have a good meal and they make sure that they look after us.

Fantastic food top quality and very good service. It it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend it. The tomahawk steak was superb.

Quite possibly the worst steak I have ever eaten. I asked for rare, but it was blue with a huge amount of fat and my daughters steak had blood running on the plate. If it’s a well rested steak this would’nt happen. The food came out 7 minutes after ordering which says it all. The salad was wiltered rocket with half a cherry tomato and my jacket potato was a jacket, the inside had disintegrated. They did take my steak off the bill, but no apology, and at 6pm it was very quiet to get it right. I would avoid and travel a bit further out.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere , tasteful decor , delicious food , well presented , and staff here are attentive and nothing is too much trouble.If I could give this place 6 stars I would .

Celebrating an anniversary and it was an excellent choice for us four. Lovely staff, great food, Speckled Hen and a glass of Merlot. Perfect Rump Steaks. Delicious Crispy Duck. Mango Melt with Chicken was excellent. We'll be back soon! Thanks!

Bryngwyn used to be the best pub/restaurant I have ever been to. Their fillet steak was second to none. We have been on holiday to Pembrey (which is quite near to the pub) every year, bar Covid) since 2004. Bryngwyn was top of our list for eating out and we have been many times. However, we missed 3 years due to Covid, but visited twice 2023. Each time we visited the pub and had steak and it turned out to be double the price of 2019 and the steak was abysmal. Bring back whoever ran the place pre-2019.

The food was nice and nice drinks. also a nice restaurant but the employee we had was very rude she was snatching the menus off us when we were giving them back and kept giving us dirty looks it’s a lovely restaurant just needs better employees.

Mixed grill was good. Lamb was really nice. But chicken tika portions were small

Good choice on the menu for a steakhouse. We chose a sharing platter combo starter to start as we were 2 people. Very expensive for what it was. Difficult to comprehend portions as there were 4 prawns in batter, 4 onion rings which gave us 2 each, then 3 chicken tikka skewers and 3 slices of garlic bread! We had to cut them in half for equal portions! It was £16.95 and felt the price didn't match the amount of food. Very disappointed 😞 Main meal - fish cakes were absolutely delicious 😋 very nice but chose new potatoes in garlic butter. I had 5 small potatoes with a bit of lettuce, no peas. My husband had black and blue burger which was delicious 😋 Food was excellently cooked very tasty but so expensive for such little food. Very disappointed.

Went for a low key get together for mams 75th at around 1pm. Clean and welcoming with very professional and friendly staff. No complaints in regard if the food drink or prices. Food delivery was prompt and served at appropriate temperature with the table area and utensils clean. Ample parking at time we arrived. A good solid establishment well maintained serviced and staffed.

Visited on a lunch time with the family. Tasty Food, Served Hot, Friendly Welcoming Staff. The pub was pleasantly decorated, clean and warm.

Food was bland. No flavour and same menu for the last ten years. Ordered kids meals. Ribs were just fat and tasteless. Then we ordered nuggets. Was supposed to be chicken nuggets. But what ever was inside them was not chicken. Cheap and disgusting. Will never go back. Be aware of a rip off for food quality and products.

Popped in there last night, (Friday 19th). My wife and I had the chicken with garlic & mushroom sauce. Followed by sponge and custard for the boss and chocolate fudge cake for myself. As was mentioned in other reviews, the portions were generous. Two cups of tea later and we were both stuffed. Service was courteous but not 'distant'. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Would certainly pop in again.

Went there with my family for a birthday meal , the service was OK until the meals came out, so they brought my chicken first I had to wait for the rest of my meal for around 10mins to then my food was cold. Sauce on my chicken was very thick and tastless. My sons burger was dry , steak was tough , the food used to be amazing there but it was expensive for the food we had never again will i go there waste of money

The chicken was dry. Sides were standard. Most basic of menus. I would have expected something more inventive, or at least different. On the plus side the staff were nice, punctual and funny. Why would I go here if I wasn't having a stake? (A question for the owner)

Great service & atmosphere supported by some pretty good grub served in quite large portions. The chicken New Yorker is a bit heavy on the BBQ sauce but they did say next time ask for the sauce in a separate jug

Great that the bryngwyn is back open. Loving the new renovations and modern style and it's still the same great food and service that keeps us coming back. Can't wait to eat there again when it's open in the nights.

Outstanding steak! It doesn't look particularly exciting from the outside, but it's been modernised inside and is very nice indeed. There's a good selection of beers and an excellent selection of food. The steaks are awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed a 16oz one and demolished it without pause - it was excellent. In hindsight, 16oz is a huge quantity, so it's a testament to quality that I finished it without much thought.

Just had an amazing Sunday roast.Would definitely recommend.The staff are wonderful too..

Outstanding setting and service.

Starters were tiny and poor quality. Mains were just ok and took an hour to arrive, It wasn't even busy there. Overall, expensive and disappointing. We will not be returning.

We were a party of 10 amidst 4 or 5 other large parties. Staff managed the evening brilliantly, everyone was served within minutes of each other and the food was sublime! Definitely recommend The Bryngwn Newydd to all.

Me and My Husband absolutely love The Bryngwyn. We nearly cried when we went into lockdown as we knew we couldn't come down and have food. The food is always outstanding and the staff, well they are second to none. So helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Our regular place for food as well know we are always going to get good tasty food. Well worth a visit

I had the mississippi combo as I saw someone else have the mixed grill and it looked small. Loved the cajun chicken and steak, although reluctant to give me a rare steak. Had some baby back ribs also, the sauce was lovely. Followed covid guidelines well which was really reassuring. Would definitely come back.

Bryngwyn Newydd ❤️Well what can I say? I have never been disappointed before, and I was not about to be disappointed again . It clearly takes a Welsh restaurant, to serve me up a crispy duck the way it should be cooked ❤️Clean and COVID friendly, clean toilets, and spacious Your safe here, and staff are friendly with exceptional service ❤️ Crispy Sizzling Duck This was perfection on a plate. The skin was heaven. Crispy and the fat had dissolved. The meat was tender and for me cooked to perfection. The chips were crispy and lovely too. Cheesy Garlic Bread This was cooked to perfection. The cheese was plentiful and tasty. I really liked the cheese too, it was not over powering. Strawberry Sundae I loved this, fresh strawberries and a nice ice-cream. I had all strawberry scoops as I hate vanilla and the establishment were nice enough to adjust the order.My bestie had the Chicken Tikka Stack and said it was amazing - it is one of his favourite dish ever ❤️ We can not wait to come back well worth a visit if you are in the area. Had to preebook a table for evening meal on my wife's birthday.Lovely welcome,even if staff were all in masks or visors.Both ordered the same 16oz rump but Nang with jacket and mine with chips.Outstanding is the word yo describe the meal ,the steak was soft and tender,chips and onion rings lovely.We ordered peppercorn sauce and garlic slices with meal .Everything delicious. Highly recommended.Tjoroughly enjoyed

Excellent food. All freshly made. We had breads to start with which you could tell had been freshly baked and warm straight out of the oven.Chips are hand cut and were nice and crispy. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.Highly recommend! 5 stars

Amazing food friendly helpful staff !! Visited for my son's 18th nothing was too much trouble they decorated the room with balloons and banners that I dropped off and did everything they could to make our evening enjoyable from start to finish Highly recommended !!!! 🎈🎉🎈🎉

Ordered steak and chips all cooked in onion oil as I'm allergic to it only had steak as they would not cook chips in onion free oil so paid £18.99 for a badly cooked steak and bread yuk would never return

Great food and nice peaceful setting

Staying in an Airbnb around the corner from Bryngwyn Newydd, walked there on a very windy and cold early evening. Hadn’t pre booked,but we got a very warm welcome from staff, and the place itself. Three of us all had different starters and mains, all of which were well presented, hot, and served with a smiley, friendly face. Couldn’t fault the food and the service, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend eating here.

Disappointed with lunch time meal ...very small portions ..gammon was no bigger than a slice of bacon ...my husband had the flat iron steak it was tasteless..not even a few peas ..No bigger than a child’s portion really ......Soup was ok .Waitress was very pleasant .Not as good as it used to be .

They had availability even thought it was a Saturday and lunch time. The starters were very nice. 2 guests had Duck as a main the other had a sirloin steak. Compliments to the chef for cooking the steak perfectly, however one duck was brought to the table before the other and due to the duck being on a sizzler plate this ment the second duck was slightly dryer than the other as meat continues to cook on these plates. All in all will visit again.

Excellent meal and a great price.

We booked here as its always got good reviews. The staff work hard and most of them are friendly one or two not so! Young lad behind bar is lovely. I had steak which was nice but was a bit fatty was disappointing with the chips they were frozen and this one place when I've been before akwats did homemade chips!! Why stop?? Cheesecake was a bit bland too. Not sure I would rush back to this pub due to these reasons.

Can’t fault this place lunch was lovely really enjoyed my steak.Service was great and the quality of the food was amazing.Better to book but they will accommodate walks in we were sitting down to eat in no time.

New to Llanelli and fancied a good steak. This place was recommended to us. Great all round experience, staff were A1, food was A1. Being the first Wednesday of the month we enjoyed their open mic too which was brilliant. Thanks for a great night, we will be back!

One of my go to places for a cracking pub grub meal, always spot on, never had a bad meal. Highly reccomend either a steak or a mixed grill !!
