We live in the village and had family staying with us who wanted to take us out for lunch. We have visited lots of times with the food and service being excellent so suggested here. Nice to be able to sit outside when the weather permits and have some food that is not the bog standard pub food. We had the plough mans lunches, what can I say, the best we have ever had. Lots of cooked ham and five cheeses along with salad, crisps and bread and butter. It was excellent and very good value for money. Thankyou everyone

Stopped off at this lovely little tearoom whilst visiting the Falls and lucky enough to be able to enjoy the sunny garden area. Friendly and welcoming member of staff who was serving at the outside counter. Decided to order two varieties of sandwiches and nice to be able to choose our own two fillings from the menu. Freshly prepared sandwiches served with salad, homemade coleslaw and crisps arrived promptly with pot of tea served with pretty china cup and saucers. Excellent quality and value for money! Will definitely return when visiting the area

Ty Te Cenarth Tea Rooms was a delightful place to visit. We went to the falls whilst holidaying in Wales from Kent. Thankfully it was a lovely sunny day. After seeing the falls and doing the circular loop walk, it was time for refreshments. We had the choice of a few pubs or the Tea Rooms. This place looked so inviting and the menu was great. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the young ladies name who was serving that day (Friday 14th June) but she couldn’t have been more helpful. Whilst sitting in the gardens with our two dogs, we saw the lady come out with a ginormous board with a variety of food on it. We asked what is was and it was called the Gentlemans Afternoon Tea. It looked very tasty, but in the end we opted for the traditional Afternoon Tea. I can honestly say, this was one of the most delicious teas we have ever had. The food was in abundance. In the end, my husband and I shared just the one. We had sandwiches, scones, a variety of slices of cake, glass of trifle, fresh cream meringue, jam and the biggest pot of tea I have ever been served up. You certainly wouldn’t go hungry there. On placing our order, we were allowed to choose what sandwiches etc we wanted. Unlike some places where you just get what you are given. And because we were sharing, we were able to have two scones and chop and change which slices of cake we wanted. After five minutes of tucking into our food, the heavens opened but even though dogs were not allowed in the café, one couple were offered the small conservatory to sit with their dog and we were allowed to sit inside by the window out of the rain. I can’t express what a little gem this place is and I highly recommend going there is ever you visit Cenarth Falls.

The tea rooms are excellent value and staff are friendly nearer the summer you will lucky to find a seat as they are popular. We have had both cream teas and afternoon tea here, and the scones are light and tasty. For the afternoon tea there is more than enough whereby we took home doggy bags (boxes). The price is very good value, the is a Gentleman's Tea, that is a bit cheaper and has more Savouries rather than sweet selections. I saw a question regarding mobility there us a ramp for wheelchairs to the cafe interior, but I assume getting to the garden seating would be difficult! Yes, there is garden seating. Although I have sampled the cream and afternoon teas there is a variety of cooked food on the menu and what I saw from others being served the food looks very inviting So overal I/we enjoy coming here and I fully recommend as is usual 24 hours at least notice and asking to reserve seats. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in the food and you can take a short walk over the bridge to the falls!!

Absolutely scorching today so called in about 2:30 to ask what time they were closing as we didnt want to miss them, were told " about 5ish" which meant to us very relaxed and flexible ,big thumbs up from us. We took the dog for a swim to cool him off and after a quick walk decided to get back to Ty Te about 4. My wife and dog sat out in garden and i went in for menus only to find lady behind counter having some problems with electrics. She said electrician was on his way but if we wanted to order then she could see what they could do (cant say fairer than that) so we chose 2 gentlemens afternoon teas . The lady came back quickly to explain that not everything was available so asked us what we liked and discussed with us what they could put together, which was all good with us. All i can say is WOW, how delicious . Sandwiches , with salad , crisps etc. , scone with jam and cream , welsh cake and a piece of cake of our choice ! With tea for two and I'm sure it was too cheap. Must have been a stressful few hours for you and it didn't seem to faze the ladies at all, very impressed and just to let you know you are much appreciated. Thank you so much for a good experience Alastair , Karen and Buddy

Absolutely fabulous! Have had amazing Sunday lunches here several times and it is exactly as a ‘home cooked’ roast should be. Big portions and everything cooked to perfection. Meats just melt in your mouth. A lovely touch is if you order beef, you get beef gravy & if you order lamb, you get lamb gravy. The large selection of deserts are all homemade and are to die for. Excellent value too. We had family visit over the bank holiday weekend and we ordered ice creams and waffles in the garden. Oh my word! Absolute gorgeous. The waffles were huge and loaded with quality ice cream and a variety of toppings and sauces. Excellent value at £5.50. Highly recommend, nothing is too much trouble for Enfys and her team. Really don’t understand any negative reviews as we have lots of friends who also eat here and they never have any complaints either.

First of all the staff were all lovely. Very quick service too, but they were not too busy when we went. The food is excellent value, and good quality too. We shared two items. 1) Lovely fresh bread for the tuna mayo sandwich, with a considerable amount of fresh salad (lettuce, 3 colours of pepper, cucumber and diced tomatoes), creamy coleslaw and quality crisps. 2) Cenarth cream tea, which was served on a slate and presented very well. The fruited scone was fab, very light and with more than enough butter, jam and cream. A Welsh cake and a slice of bara brith completed this, with enough butter for these too. The tea was served to my specifications. The latte was good. I can heartily recommend eating here.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here. Friendly people and beautiful food. Generous portions and more than enough tea to go round m. Highly recommended.

This place serves different food which is devine. Pity i never got to taste their sunday roast as it sells out fast on sundays. Lovely to go there on sundays with the family...

Stopped for a short break in this lovely little village for a walk along the river Teifi. When we returned we stopped at Ty Te for some hot drinks before continuing our journey. As we had eaten earlier, so all we wanted was tea and coffee. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. The quality of the teas and the coffee was very good. Seeing food other customers had ordered made us feel safe that when we call here again, we would have no hesitation in eating here too. The food we saw looked of good quality and was plentiful. Cenarth is a village we always stop at if we are in the vicinity. It is picturesque whatever the season and Ty Te will always get our custom.

Nice tea rooms with nice cakes on offer but too much froth and not enough actual coffee in the cappuccino. Breakfast roll was good though.

We visited this lovely tea shop last week for afternoon tea and it was wonderful. We only live a short drive away therefore we try and visit often. We ordered afternoon tea on this occasion and were presented with a wonderful selection of sandwiches and cakes. Everything was homemade and tasty and there was so much of it that we had to take some home. We have visited many places for afternoon tea but this was the cheapest and definitely the best

We rang in the morning to book a table for 9 (and 2 babies) to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday, and were very happy to be accommodated. The food was wonderful and very reasonable (£62 for 8 of us) ❤️❤️. So much we had to bring some home. The gentleman’s lunch looked amazing and we ladies enjoyed the traditional one. Special mention for the onion chutney so good. Staff were helpful and understanding of our little ones. Well worth a visit.

We ordered two cream teas with coffee. As per the earlier reviews the scones were small, over cooked and didn’t come with a knife. Too much effort to display on heart shaped plates with some strawberry coolie that just attracted the wasps!

Have been coming here everytime we visit South Wales, but have definately noticed a difference this year. Scones were tiny and under-baked, the cream tasted like cheap cream from a can and the 'jam was more a cherry sauce. Also, this venue has always had a problem with wasps in the garden. Have told them many times but the problem still exists. I think in future, the tea room the other side of the river will be getting our business in the future.

If you like a nice beef steak then look no further! The chef buys his meat from a small Swansea butcher and it’s both great quality and well cooked at an amazingly low price! It’s a pub as well as a restaurant so whether you are looking to eat or just have a beer, it’s great! The only downside is that Doombar is the only ale they keep, you would expect a local welsh beer.
