10/10! Visited for drinks on one occasion and enjoyed those and the view and ambience. Visited again for food and drinks: hake burger, a burger of the week, a beer and wine: all 100% Love the curved chips 👌 Very similar in feel, quality and ambience to the harbourmaster in aberaeron, with even better view. Spot on 👍

Harbwr has never disappointed in the 3 years we have been visiting Saundersfoot with our last visit during the second week of October 2024. We have been for an evening meal, lunch and breakfast. The customer service is fab and all of the staff are friendly and polite and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Always a good atmosphere and dogs welcome too. We love eating here and it’s one of two of our favourite restaurants in Saundersfoot.

Delicious Sunday lunch, service prompt and friendly as always.

We were a party of 7 plus two well-behaved dogs. Great friendly, attentive service plus live music downstairs added to our thorough enjoyment. Food delicious - one of the party had chilli and said it was the best he had eaten. Something for everyone on the menu and not over priced - no wonder it was very busy!

Lovely spot and nice views but very mediocre food. Had the pie which was tasteless, partner had the burger which again was mediocre and bland. Shame as the staff are lovely.

Great place. Great food. Many spaces here to eat. Had specials board...lots fish that ran out quickly. Had scampi and specials curry. Scampi was best ever had!! Also used the Brewery at the back in the cobbled alley

Great ale options and good atmosphere

A great meal for 4 on a Saturday night. Even in April it was a good job we had booked a table. Lovely food and staff.

Food was great. Beer was better. But a fab experience all round

Stopped at Harbwr bar and kitchen for a quick pint and snack to eat whilst the sun was out. The location is great and the seating outside is great to soak up the sun. The food was delicious and there was a great selection of lager, cider and ale to choose from. The bar / waiting staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Called in on spec and was greeted by Liam who couldn’t have been more accommodating even though they were very busy! He managed to find us a table for two, our waitress Katie was equally attentive and made us feel very welcome. Seabass was superb and the rack of ribs fell off the bone! Excellent service and food! Well done guys! Would highly recommend we will defiantly be back on our next visit to Saundersfoot! Thank you.

Arrogant cocky bar staff with beard insisted on making us sit where he said amd then gave soneone else who was sat behind us outside that had NOT booked the seat we wanted...obviously just bieng awkward and arrogant .maybe a customer service course needed. This ended in us taking our custom to a much friendlier bar where we was welcomed wether eating food or not .

Nice to have such a different healthy menu for lunch. The cheese and leek flan with cous xous and salad was lovely and no more expensive than a sandwich in most places.

Cerys took my booking and became our server when we arrived. My wife and I both had the half rack of ribs, which came quickly and were excellent. Cerys was attentive and polite at all times. Cannot fault our visit.

Great place to eat.. food really good, staff lovely. We weren't rushed even though it was a busy Saturday night. We even had live music which was very good

We booked this restaurant but it wasn’t clear at the time of booking that there would be extremely loud live music still during the dinner service so it was really difficult to communicate. In addition to this, the server got my order wrong and it took until everyone else had almost finished their meal for mine to arrive. No one apologised or offered us a drink or anything else for the trouble. The wait staff mostly looked to be very young and inexperienced with little knowledge of the menu / wine list. Additionally, we had 4-5 different members of staff tend to our table during the time we were there, which I don’t think helped any of the above issues!

Excellent meal and live music on Saturday night - great atmosphere. We had olives/bread and squid for starter - delicious. I had the salmon with new potatoes - so full of flavour. My husband had the ultimate burger - very nice. Chips a little bland. I tried the HARBWR dry gin - was incredible with slimline tonic. Highly recommend!

Visited with my family whilst on holiday, had to book as it gets busy, especially this time of year (August). Have to say we really enjoyed what we ordered, the menu was good and had a choice of specials on offer as well. Locally produced beer on the taps as well.

Never had to send food back before but last night was presented with the most inedible and tough piece of gammon ever. Even a steak knife wasn’t up to the job! Replaced without argument but meant I ended up eating after the other person had finished.

I ordered the salmon with roast potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables with a sauce. Priced at £20. It came in a bowl with 3 potatoes 3 small pieces of pepper and 1 small piece of courgette. My husband ordered the pie and this was overcooked and stringy. Left hungry won't be returning

We are very pleased with the visit. Delicious cuisine, fast service and a pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing food. The steak and ale pie was perfect. Tender meat and a beautiful light pastry. No fat. Only a suggestion of a small jug of gravy to accompany the meal.

Definelty worth a visit, you'll probably need to book. Great value for money too.

Devastatingly consistent. Great menu with varied local seafood. Always quick service. Rarely disappointed. Great fish and chips, great simple kids options, lovely seabass and crab. Can't fault it.

Fantastic cod, amazing sea bass. Great service and location. If ever in Saundersfoot again, we'll definitely be back.

A great meal, good service and nice atmosphere

Food was overpriced and basic for what it was. Seafood wasn't fresh - ordered king prawns, they were losing their colour, going black

Good menu, great ambience, good prices. This is a very popular restaurant, it well worth pre booking before visiting the area. The staff are attentive, helpful but very busy at peak times. The food is very good, a great selection of drinks too

Dropped in by chance for a couple of drinks and immediately impressed with the welcome and how bubbly all the staff were. It's a better night if the staff seem to be enjoying themselves as well. Food was excellent very tasty and not served with loads of chips. No hesitation in recomending the Harbwr for an excellent night. Thanks

This is an exceptional bar and kitchen. The food was excellent, everyone raved about what they had, and the desserts were just as tasty. The atmosphere is excellent and was helped by the good weather. A huge selection of Tenby Harbour ales is another great selling point. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. But I'd advise booking in advance!

Out of the 3 restaurants we went to in Saundersfoot, this was our favourite. Great food and excellent quick service - apart from when we wanted to pay the bill. Told one server we wanted to pay the bill who said "ok, you want to pay the bill" disappeared and never returned so we asked a member of the bar staff who said she would get a server (after waiting ages one never arrived) so finally asked a man who immediately picked up the credit card machine from the counter so I have no idea why the first server we asked couldn't have done that. It could be too hot inside for some.

Love this place. We just like to have a beer and sit outside and watch the world go by. Also, the Harbwr ales are fab, though today it was lagers! 😂

Food was a little slow but worth the wait as it was very good. My wife enjoyed her Salmon, I had gammon and my daughter had Mac & cheese. Great local beers on tap and really nice inside. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A lovely pub serving really good beers comercial ones as well as their own range which is really good and I recommend the Enterprise IPA and the Heist IPA particularly. The food is really good and quite reasonable the steak was lovely as was my partners Hake.

Staff very good pleasant and helpful. The food was also very good would return.

My wife and I had dinner here from the specials menu. My wife had crab, and I had Sea Bass. Both were very good with good clean flavours, and portion sizes were good. Very friendly, attentive staff and we would go again.

Exceptionally friendly staff, great music and atmosphere, and the food is out of this world. Couldn't rate highly enough, just a shame we aren't local as it would definitely be a spot we'd frequent. Will have to visit again when next in the area!

Brilliant service always had good food here

Steak and ale pie for £17 absolutely tasteless and bland. £17 for a burger. I’d expect at very least a gourmet burger but it was no better than a really bad 99p McDonalds and I don’t touch them. I could cook better. Beer was good at least.

Come here every year and have never had to say anything poor about it till today, the food is great however the service is extremely poor, staff ignoring customers and one staff in particular a male is racist by discriminating English people and the England country whilst a family Is sat in the venue and are English also, they also do not listen to customers wishes when questioned about malted bread if they contain seeds, I was told ‘No’ however what comes to my table is a seeded sandwich, very poor and staff haven’t got a clue, also waited ten minutes to pour some Pepsi in which there wasn’t much custom during this time , will not be visiting again ..

Great food and good service. I had the ribs and my partner had the sea bass. Worth a visit if you enjoy good food and local beers.

Best chips in the area. So much better than most award winning fish and chips. Fish is amazing as are the burgers. A little pricey but value for money. The only down side chips will never be the same again.

Wrong dish served to our grandson....took 15 minutes to resolve the matter. Waitress excellent but clear issues in the kitchen. Managed should take more responsibility.

Banging restaurant with its old wooden interior, bar and rafters giving a very old/modern feel to it. Clean and tidy, and well staffed. Cooked dinner on a Sunday was out of this world. Such happy pleasant staff and very spacious inside. Pudding and main with drinks for 2 people 50 plus pounds at the hight of season.

Just visiting here as staying with family at Brynbanc farm , lovely food had a blt snack not had one that good since I visited Le meridian , service the young lady was delightful !

Great craic last night, the staff were winding down after a busy shift, but the mixture of Scooter, Paul Potts and Glory Glory Man United on the music box was very welcomed!

Been coming here for lunch for the last few years. Very disappointed with the food this time. Had the salmon which was overcooked, served on top of a few veg and the sauce was tasteless, very watery. Certainly different to last years meal we had. Was our go to lunch stop when we visit Saundersfoot. At £19 didn’t expect that. Will be finding somewhere else for our next visit.

Ordered ribs and they were delicious 😋 service was attentive but seating was uncomfortable and table space squashed.

Our favourite food place in saundersfoot. Lovely to sit outside in lovely weather. Be sure to book as it gets busy. Good range of gluten free especially fudge cake. There chips are the best I've ever had!

What a shame, I would have given this place 5 stars, except after spending £70 on food and drinks we were asked to vacate the table as soon as we had paid the bill - this was a Monday evening and not mega busy, won't be returning.

I travel extensively thru US and UK and this ware the Best ribs EVER! Be careful as it is a full rack that is extra meaty. All their specials were great, as we ate there nightly.

Good spot for a pint! Came here over the weekend and we enjoyed our drinks. The only reason they lost the fifth star was due to an issue over the table. We were sat in a window table (Hadnt booked) just to have a pint or two, and we were asked to move as the table was reserved. Not a problem as we didn’t book it so understood completely. We moved tables and ordered another round of drinks. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that we finished our drinks and left before that party even arrived for their table. Would have been great if they gave us the option to leave the table at a certain time so we didn’t have to move until the table was needed

My wife, 2 children (8 and 11) ate here last week as part of our regular break at Saundersfoot. A fantastic bar/ restaurant and the fresh fish was simply superb. A lovely place to eat and drink.

Overall not the best experience for a night out I had melted breaded Brie for starter which was cold and barely melted then had a burger which was tasteless

Dog friendly pubs and restaurant. Food was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! Had dinner here and also lunchtime drinks. Good choice of ales in a lovely quiet bar area.

Not sure why my review I put up the other night is not here?!! I've eaten here many times without disappointment. Tonight I was served uncooked food which I left and when I mentioned it to the waitress she mumbled to herself and walked off with no offer to recook or no apology. I doubt she would have even taken it off the bill if I hadn't insisted that I wasn't paying for it! Disgusting service with no apology whatsoever! Will NOT be back
