I had seen Facebook posts about this place and it did not disappoint. Friendly service and extremely tasty burgers at a fraction of the cost of other eateries. Food was fresh and all hand made, if I lived in Monmouth I would be coming here all the time.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our host whilst staying in nearby Newland in the Forest of Dean at Easter. We booked on-line (easy process). As we approached the restaurant we were delighted to see that Church Street was lit with festive lights (no it wasn't Xmas we visited at Easter!) which made for very pleasant start to the evening. The restaurant itself was also twinkling with decorative lights - again very pleasant. We were given a very warm welcome by the host and shown to our table. Menu's were produced and drinks order taken in short order. The regular menu is varied with specials on the blackboard - so good choice of meals. Our food was extremely well presented and was very tasty. My wife had fish and I had beef bourguignon - both were excellent The restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere despite being busy. The host was attentive but helpful. Do book ahead - several people were turned away whilst we were there. Also please note that they closed the door to new diners at 8pm when we visited. A very enjoyable evening - we will definitely visit again when in the area.

Having read the reviews before we visited we had hoped for more. The panini was not good and the toasted sandwiches just that with no garnishes. Sadly, the biggest turn off was the lady cooking the food had her hair loose and not adhering to food safety requirements. Very offputting.

I was staying in Monmouth with a friend and we decided to have dinner at Whole Earth. The restaurant is small, but has a great atmosphere and Prae, the owner, is very welcoming. Each dish was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai was the best I have eaten. My companion had the Pad Nam Prik Poa which I tried and it was very tasty, with a good spicy heat. The cost was very reasonable, and we took our own drinks for which we paid a small amount in corkage. i would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again when I am in Monmouth.

A small coffee shop and deli towards the end of the High Street, the choice of food is quite limited with about three cakes to choose from, a couple of sandwiches and a soup. That is pretty much it, but it suited us. It’s light and airy, and there is also a garden at the rear for the warmer weather, although this was closed on our visit. We opted for a tomato and red pesto sandwich, and a goat’s cheese and fig sandwich. Both were served with a small side salad accompaniment. They seemed a little small I thought, given the price point, but they were both nonetheless very tasty. An accompanying latte was also pretty good, and all the staff seemed friendly. Overall, if you don’t mind the limited choice, well worth stopping by.

We purchased some goodies from their stall during an event. The cob was rustic and delicious and the vegan sausage rolls are probably the best we've ever eaten. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to try the yummy looking cakes because the dog stole them from the kitchen worktop. Due to the cake containing currants, we then had a horrible time at the vets waiting to see if this had impacted on her kidney function. I messaged the bakery for information about the ingredients of the cake and they were super helpful. They continued to show compassion and interest in the welfare of our pooch, who thankfully came out the other side healthy. They were even kind enough to offer us some free cake. Hoping we can visit in person one day.
