Catered for our group very well. Food tasty and service good

We were staying locally and decided to give this a try. We were very impressed with the service and food. Everything was freshly prepared. Staff were attentive, we will definitely be back when in the area again 5*****

Wow! What can I say! One of the best Indian meals I have ever had! And I have eaten Indian cuisine all over the world! Everything was soooo flavoursome and freshly cooked. The service was spot on. We are only in the area for three nights but we can’t leave without another meal here. 10 stars plus!

While staying at Symonds Yat we fancied an Indian takeaway. This was the closest at only a 10 minute drive. It was well worth it, we were very impressed… the food was mouth-wateringly good. Best I’ve had in a very long time. Also, a friendly and warm welcome by all staff. I would highly recommend.

Visited Sat 22Feb really good service they were very friendly. There was a great atmosphere and the food was first class We also went on a Sunday night 2 weeks ago and although quieter we got the same level of service and food. Well worth a visit. Thanks

Great range of dishes and delicious food. The biriyani was gorgeous as were the Al Salam prawns. It was a bit pricey for what we had, hence the four not five stars.

I have been eating indian/ Bangladeshi food since the 1990s in Birmingham and tonight's food was the best to date. We will be back soon. Thank you guys so much Darren and Emma x

Had a great meal in a lovely setting

The food was appalling. The korma was so sweet was almost unpalatable, 4 pieces of lamb. Raw undercooked nan, flat diet coke and pepsi max, completely flat, the lamb breyani had 4 pieces of lamb in the breyani, And for this spectacle was charged 68.00 pounds. Never ever again

Absolutely gorgeous curry at Misbah. The location is ideal as you can park outside. The inside is really cozy and the staff are polite. Immaculately presented. I had the nicest curry here and will definitely be returning 😋 best curry in Monmouth by far.

We had a wonderful meal here. We were in Monmouth for the weekend celebrating my friend’s birthday and hadn’t booked anywhere but after reading some reviews decided to try The Misbah. Despite not having a reservation the staff were very helpful and were able to seat all 4 of us. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was extremely tasty, with all of us saying how much we enjoyed our meals. Would definitely eat here again if we were in the area

Fantastic food, great service - there’s a good reason why they’ve been in Monmouth nearly 35 years!

Visited about 5 years ago and the food was excellent. We visited last month but unfortunately my Goan fish curry was awful. My husband’s was fine , he said but I had just what seemed to be stringy bits that looked like fish skin. Don’t know why, I didn’t like to complain there and then because the service was good. It’s a shame because we had the same curry the first time and it was lovely, it just seemed as if the scrap ends of the fish were thrown in.

Excellent food, great value too

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were very pleased. The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the food was delicious. A very sweet little restaurant.

We have just eaten a superb meal at this restaurant. The food was excellent, very aromatic with a very good mix of spices. As we were eating early on a Sunday evening it was quiet but the decor is lovely. Would certainly recommend and I’m sure we will visit again.

Always good service and great food

The restaurant was full and busy giving a good atmosphere. Due to it being full the service was a bit slow but the staff are friendly. My wife had chewy chicken dansak, the best tarka dall she has had for a while. I had chicken xacuti which I meant to have complex rich flavours. The first bite of chicken was nothing but excruciating heat. The dish tasted like a very hot jalfrazi, with no flavor just burning heat. My lips burnt with chilli. My favorite dish is xacuti which I have at every opportunity. This is not xacuti. Hence the 3 star.

Outstanding food and service. The chutneys with the pappadoms were the tastiest I’ve ever had; the onion bhaji was light, fresh and perfectly seasoned; both chicken dishes cooked to perfection and delicately flavoured.

We love this place didn’t want to give a review as every time we find somewhere nice it always gets so busy we never get a booking but I have to say you cannot go wrong if you come here amazing food lovely staff and the wine is good

Delicious food. I am not familiar with Indian food. Over the week, we tried chicken tikka, chicken tandouri, lemon chicken, and their chutney starter. So yummy! The owner offered suggestions, we took them, and we’re so glad we did!

Throughout the whole of Wales the food really hasn’t been up to scratch, and I was on the cusp of throwing in the towel. Luckily I stumbled across this gem of a cuisine and my tune has been well and truly changed. I salute the efforts of the waiting staff and would recommend to anyone and everyone to come and have a gander at this eatery.

I was struggling to find nice food in this town. I found this great restaurant. There is very nice chicken and lamb options. Great service and good price.
