Coffi Lab Monmouth in Monmouthshire

What a cracking little 'neighbourhood' cafe stop this is. Located on the high street, there's loads of seating, cracking coffee and tea choices and a decent selection of light bites to eat. Dog friendly, so expect to see plenty passing through too.

Lovely staff and great coffee, the cinnamon bun was the best i’ve ever had! Great atmosphere as well, highly recommend!

We go to Coffi lab most days, through 2023 and now in January 2024 . The atmosphere in here is great and my dog loves coming here with us . The coffee is fantastic. The girls who serve are always courteous and smiling . Isabelle stands out as she is always so Happy ,busy making sure we are all happy , cleaning tables at speed All of the ladies serving work so hard. A massive thank you to them all.

Interesting and different cakes; OK sandwiches (for toasting), but could do with more choice of savory options. Drinks fine. Quite drafty by front door (bit it was a freezing day). Pleasant staff and reasonable value.

I am delighted to share my experience at Coffi Lab. An exceptional dog-friendly coffee spot. The quality of the coffee is consistently outstanding and the menu offers a delightful range of options (although there could be more salads). The staff's warmth and attentiveness further elevate the experience. The cleanliness and hygiene standards at Coffi Lab are commendable. Despite being dog-friendly, the cafe is always impeccably maintained. Although all of the staff are delightful, Isobel's unwavering cheerfulness is a breath of fresh air. It is evident she takes great pride in her role as her dedication to customer satisfaction shines through. Isobel's positive energy is contagious, making Coffi Lab a most welcoming community of both customers and staff largely thanks to her exceptional leadership.

Very disappointed made to feel inferior as they would not accept my Scottish notes. Please note to these who do not know that Scottish notes are legal tender and we are after all the unites kingdom!!! I was very upset and my daughter i law had to pay and we were taking them out as a treat. Turned out not a treat but a very up setting experience Think you should view your policies if you want to encourage visitors to the area .

A really lovely cafe which was both dog & family friendly. Great customer service & range of hot drinks & eats excellent.

He needs to avoid milk now so we chose this establishment upon recommendation by a local Solicitor. The place was light, airy and clean. It is a chain that allows mans best friend to enter. It had a good selection of sandwiches, cakes, patries and other delicacies. The Oatmeal Latte was delicious, I'm assured and being an Americano connoiseur, I fould it roasted and flavouresome to an excellent standard.

Lovely coffee really friendly staff and welcoming of dogs . Really clean and plenty of space. A nice change from the larger coffee chain stores. Would definitely recommend.

Second visit to Coffi Lab whilst visiting Monmouth. Service was friendly and professional. Good cup of cup of coffee and sourdough toasted sandwiches not bad either!

A very lovely cafe !!👍👍 It was standing out !! It looked very sophisticated / modern from outside as I walked by on the street ! They didn't disappoint me !! It was much bigger than it looked from outside !! A WHEELCHAIR ♿️ FRIENDLY cafe & also very DOG FRIENDLY ,too !! I really liked what the pictures ( drawings ) on the wall said ,too !! They had very yummy SCONES !! Also a very tasty TROPICAL SMOOTHIE 😋 & ORGANIC!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to everyone !! They had a big toilet room inside ,too !! The staff were all very polite / very friendly ,too !! They were busy ,a lady ( manager I assume )was training a new male staff that day & it made me smile as it was such a nice scene & made me realized that it's all the same everywhere we go ,here in L.A.,or Tokyo I originally from & over there in Monmouth ,Wales !! It brought my old memories of getting trained at many retail shops / restaurants & how nervous I was on my very 1st days at work in those days of my life ! The new guy was doing well ! Tiny bit nervous ,maybe ? We all can relate ! Lol. There was a fabulous outdoor area in the back of this shop where the locals were having a delightful afternoon !! This cafe is big / long vertically ! I was surprised 😮 The hardwood floor & nice settings ,there was a big water bowl for doggies on the floor which I observed at many places all over in South Wales / West Wales !! Such lovely people with happy doggies in Wales !! I didn't know Welsh love dogs so much !! 😍 I wanted to stay there all day if I could !! What a GEM 💎 in Monmouth !! I really wanna revisit Monmouth & Coffi Lab someday soon ,again !! Great place to meet friends ,or just spend a real nice afternoon like I did alone !! Not to mention ,a very nice place to hang out with your doggie ,too !! Lol MONMOUTH is such a BEAUTIFUL town & UNDERRATED !! Some guy tried talking out of it to me labeling as " boring place ,nothing to see there !" Lol.I am so glad that I did go there !! On my way there / back between Newport & Monmouth, I took busses ,I have to warn you that they go way fast !!! Too fast for people have weak hearts !! Lol. It was like a roller-coaster !!! 🥶Only 1 driver ( I made 2 trips as I loved Monmouth !! ) was driving normally !! LOL 😅😆 A very blissful time I had at Coffi Lab !!

This is a very popular coffee shop which I think is the problem. There is a counter for service which can sometimes take as long as 10/12 minutes to get served. You then have to carry your purchase (in my case a pot of hot tea) to your table. Given that the cafe is busy with dogs and toddlers this, to my mind, is a health and safety risk. Trying to balance tray, handbag etc whilst watching out for toddlers and dogs is not easy! The place is also incredibly noisy with very poor acustics and I nearly always come away with a headache. It would not be my choice for a get together but as friends like the coffee I put up with it.

Friendly staff, great tasting coffee and cakes ( carrot cake highly recommended!), nice atmosphere and that’s before the dog friendly benefits!

Revisited Coffi Lab today. My last visit was 12 months ago. Every bit as good as my first visit. More people in the place today which is another good sign. Fantastic coffee and service. Shall certainly visit again when I Monmouth
