Venue, food and staff are wonderful! Held a baby shower in the party room upstairs and was the perfect venue. We had the entire upstairs to ourselves with room to decorate, machine to play music, fridge to store food and drinks and terrace outside. We had a hot buffet with skewers for food and everyone complimented how amazing the food was. The staff were super attentive regularly checking we had everything we needed. I ordered a French Gateaux Friasier for my daughter's birthday, which came above expectations. The texture was fluffy; the cream was soft. And the taste was wonderful. By far, the taste of the gateaus was equal to what I had tried and got hooked on in France, and I always wanted to find somewhere (someone) to do it for me in Cardiff. The price is also very reasonable, and the availability and delivery are very good. The owner is super friendly and helpful This is my first order from them, and I'm definitely returning.

The deliveries to home often have missing items specially the sauces and incorrect number of pieces. They do not resolve the issue of missing items

Chilli Basil has always been my go-to spot for Thai food—a cuisine I’ve loved all my life! The portions are generous, and while there can sometimes be a bit of a wait, it’s always worth it because the food is absolutely brilliant. I’ve ordered from here many times, and it’s become my comfort place—whether I’m celebrating something happy, feeling down, or just craving delicious food. The flavors are spot on every single time, and you can really feel the love and authenticity in every dish. It’s one of those places that feels like home, and I’ll keep coming back for more!

I have been many times before and everyone I am surprised by how good the food is. I’ve lived in Cardiff my whole life and was introduced to empire some years ago after asking for a “curry go to” and upon being introduced I haven’t looked back. Their curries are exceptional, always the perfect level of spice, I prefer the spicier side, ordering a madras and they don’t disappoint! For anyone in Cardiff or for anyone visiting I can’t recommend enough, everyone it meets the mark. If I could vote higher than a 5 I would.

Mi marido y yo fuimos a cenar después de que mi marido había hablado de ello después de una comida que él había tenido, tenía allí con el trabajo y no me decepcionó en absoluto. La comida era increíble! Tuvimos un entrante y una tubería principal ya que estábamos demasiado llenos para un pudín. Los precios eran razonables y el personal era agradable. Sinceramente, puedo decir que la comida habla por sí misma y definitivamente volveremos de nuevo.
