The best restaurants in Plasnewydd Cardiff South Wales

This place is worth a visit because the taste and quality of an authentic Italian meal are guaranteed. I’ve been twice and I was amazed both times at the authentic Italian flavours. Friendly Italian people cooking and serving what tastes like their grandmothers’ recipes. Perfect authentic Italian home cooked healthy mama mía deliciosa. Pizza crust was perfectly charred but not burned plus thin, crispy and chewy. Tomato sauce not too acidic, home made and really good. Proper Italian cheeses on top. Proper pizza. Ravioli was rolled out so thin and it was packed with flavour you could see the care that went into preparing it. It was so delicious. And then the cannoli - not too sickly but light creamy airy with very chocolatey bicuit wrapped around. Amazing place to eat.

My experience was very disappointing. Despite the restaurant being largely empty, we were told that no tables were available as all were booked. I don’t live in Cardiff. So this was extra frustrating, especially since this wasn’t the first time I’ve encountered this issue. The person in the till was rude! Never dinning here again!

A highly recommended restaurant. We received friendly service and were able to enjoy the delicious food in a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. The Buddha Salad tasted fantastic and featured a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The portion size is particularly commendable. In my opinion, it is rare to find such a good, nutritious and filling vegan salad in most restaurants. The arancini balls as an appetizer didn’t disappoint either. Luna's Vegan Corner is definitely a great addition to the vegan scene!

We booked here after seeing the excellent reviews on Google and were not disappointed. The food and service was amazing particularly the Moroccan food! Moroccan tea was served to us on the house as we chose our meals and was also delicious! Don’t be put off from the decor as this is a special little gem and we will definitely be returning!

We ordered a take away so I can’t comment on Atmosphere. However one of our main dishes was missing from our order. However the food that did arrive was delicious!

Prompt service and fresh food. Order 2x kids meals and 1 large box and 1 medium box. The Udon noodles with prawns and chilli paneer were sublime! The vegetables were lacking some imagination (onions, red & green peppers) but otherwise tasty. Kids enjoyed their meals and partner said the medium box was too much.

Excellent food. Impressive hot breakfast for the western taste buds. Will be back to try the authentic Persian food next time. Sorry, no photo, I forgot 😃

They always give Amazing service, and their special classic regular tea was amazing. I'm going to be there regular customer from now onwards experience was amazing.
