GOODBGR in Cardiff

Every time I ordered food from here it was good but today it was very disappointing because my Sweet Potato Fries were ice cold not cooked properly not worth it for £5 that was ice cold! And I ordered a Smokey Burger it was not cooked properly

The food is amazing, customer service was amazing and it also comes very quick which is very convenient. If your in the area definitely recommend.

Excellent burgers in Cardiff, conveniently open quite late. The people working here are so nice and friendly, it is 10/10 service and the food is really good - best take away in the area but also nice to sit in and eat if you wanted to.

Absolute favourite burger place on the end of Albany road. Always come back & bringing different people with me to try. So far everyone’s agreed the food is great and the staff are welcoming. Highly recommend inferno fries (see photos) - but only if you’re a spice lover. Chicken burger - Thunderbird (photo isn’t so great but the taste is) Absolutely get a dip - creamy ranch all the way.

The beef burgers are soo juicy and delicious and you can tell the meat quality is very good, so I'm happy to pay for great fresh tasty food! Beware though....the shakes are to die for 😍 They are soo delicious, literally you will want a shake EVERY SINGLE TIME! I'd recommend every flavour....But try the oreo or kinder Bueno!

Went here for the first time yesterday with my cousin mik, and the people in there are really nice, friendly and recommend stuff that shocks you, the burger was delicious! And the cajun fries were 10/10 with the honey mustard dip! Would recommend and will be going again!!!

This is probably my favourite burger place, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The burgers never let me down, I happily make the trip on M4 knowing I’ll thoroughly enjoy my food! (Pls open in Bristol we are severely lacking in food place)

I am jealous this burger joint is based all the way in Cardiff and not London. Burgers are so tasty I visited them again the next day to try another burger before heading back to London! I had the Origin Beef burger the first night, Beef was cooked to perfection. The second night I had the Simples Chicken burger (I usually prefer Beef), the chicken was so crispy and tasty. Both burgers were full of flavour/sauces/spices that ripple across your taste buds, the beef and chicken were clearly exceptionally high quality (this place is not a joke). Worth every penny. I also had the Skin on Fries and Cajun Fries with the Chipotle sauce and Roasted Garlic Mayo,. The fries were cooked and seasoned well and the sauces tasted delicious and unique. They are homemade so its not some commercial sauce you find in every other restaurant. You know the saying nothing beats mums or grandmas cooking because that secret recipe is cooking with Love and Passion. You can see it in the owners eyes when you speak to them and they are so kind and helpful! (something rare to find in this trade these days, how many restaurants have you visited in your life with the staff/owners there to make quick money providing you with no passion/presentation/quality and service?). I have to say this burger joint is near the top of the list for me. After having a conversation with the owner it dawned on me later during my journey back to London, how he had mentioned all of the leading/top rated/most hyped fast food independents/chains in London he visited prior to the opening of this business. That is called market research, they are serious and want to serve the best of the best in Cardiff. I have family in Cardiff and visit a few times a year and from what I have tried in Cardiff over the years they win without a doubt!

The food was delicious, meat and chicken, and their treatment with customers was very wonderful. This is my second visit to them and their food is more than wonderful.

Hands down the best burger spot around! Been to many burger places across a lot of England and Wales and I’d rank GOODBGR up there with some of the best I’ve had. Both beef and chicken burgers are amazing, burgers were very filling and the dirty fries were incredible. My personal recommendation would be to get the ‘Just Jamming’ burger and ask for inferno sauce inside! And a side of inferno fries and a jammy dodger milkshake!

They deliver excellent food and exceptional service at each visit with a menu that has something for everyone. I usually order the Thunderbird with Inferno Fries and it always hits! It really is home of the good burger.

Have had so many burger places in London and nothing even comes close to Goodbgr. Genuinely the best food I’ve ever had - their burgers are AMAZING. Usually a beef burger person but even their chicken burgers are so juicy and flavourful. Somehow the sides are also amazing and the guys there are so lovely and friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Heard about this hidden gem online and decided to dine in with family. A small restaurant but extremely friendly service! Very welcoming and super helpful when ordering. We opted for the original beef and raging bull burgers, as well as the truffle parm fries, skin on fries, and cheesy tots. Everything was very tasty and flavourful, portions are very generous and food reasonably priced. Definitely the best beef burgers we've tried in Cardiff. Highly recommend and look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.

Probably the best burger spot in Cardiff. I’ve tried all of their beef burgers and they are all very different in taste but all top tier. If you like spicy then Inferno fries are the ones to go for. Just jammin burger is my favourite, perfect size so I was filled up but had perfect space left for the fries. The sweet potatoes fries were also very delicious and crispy whilst still being not too small

Went yesterday with a couple family members for my iftaar as i found myself in cardiff at iftaar time. All the Food we had was honestly 10/10 and so was the service. Its my new favourite burger spot in cardiff and i visit and eat in cardiff quite a lot due to work. The next time im here i will for sure be going goodbgr

Goodbgr? More like Greatbgr!! Wow! We had the hidden jam burger, inferno fries and truffle Parmesan fries. The fries were both unreal! We had extra ranch for the inferno fries and garlic mayo for the Parmesan fries and the combos were so good, the burger was also really juicy and full of flavour! Will definitely be back!

Decent burger. 7 out of 10. However the price around £13 is not deserved. Was expecting to blow my mind but not really hit the spot.

Me and my husband went to GOODBGR after being recommended it by a friend, and it’s safe to say, it was the most amazing food either of us had ever had. Firstly, the staff are exceptional. The place itself is not big, yet there is still a warm and welcoming ambience as soon as you step through the door. The guys are helpful, funny and genuinely care about their food and customers. GOODBGR is clean, well presented and their unique wall graffiti inside is just ome of many aspects that make them a stand out place in the heart of Cardiff. As someone who has never ate a burger in their life, I was apprehensive but this place gave me no reason to worry. My first ever burger was beautifully made and tasted fresh and the usual aftertaste of grease that comes with eating out was non-existent. The chicken was crispy, the bun was soft, toasted and well buttered and the flavour was unreal. We also tried the inferno tater tots which were on a level of its own. They were, in short, sensational. I read a few reviews claiming it was expensive but in all honesty, for the quality of the food, the welcoming experience and the portion sizes, I’d argue otherwise. You leave full and content and the use of quality ingrediants is obvious. I truly do believe that every penny we spent was completely reasonable. Quality comes with a price; it shouldn’t be neglected that they are a small business who, for what they offer, are being 100% fair with the prices they charge. You won’t get ripped off; rather, you’ll thank yourself later for the decision you made. We only stayed in Cardiff for the weekend, but after our first experience, we made sure we ate there again. Needless to say, GO and visit!

Food from Goodbgr is great, but it took 2.5 hours for the food to be delivered by just eat so it was cold. After 1.5hrs waiting I tried to cancel it and just eat said they would still charge me. The restaurant called to say our food was made and going cold. Have tried to claim a refund since and just eat have refused. Disgusting service from just eat. Would order from Goodbgr again but would collect myself.
