Sweet Sugar in Cardiff

I ordered a French Gateaux Friasier for my daughter's birthday, which came above expectations. The texture was fluffy; the cream was soft. And the taste was wonderful. By far, the taste of the gateaus was equal to what I had tried and got hooked on in France, and I always wanted to find somewhere (someone) to do it for me in Cardiff. The price is also very reasonable, and the availability and delivery are very good. The owner is super friendly and helpful This is my first order from them, and I'm definitely returning.

First, I ordered this cake with 4 hours notice, and it had to be low sugar, as it was for a pre-diabetic person. I was worried that the taste would suffer, but I needn't have worried, as it was scrumptious. All the family loved the cake, and the person who it was for also had a double serving. And this was all done with 4 hours notice - so 5 stars from me. Going to use Sweet Sugar for our next birthday treat. The cake cost £25 which is what I'd expect to pay and was ~ 9" in diameter and fed 5-6 people with no problems.

This wonderful place made a stunning Birthday cake at very short notice (by e mail) for my daughters 18 th Birthday. Made to our Vegan requirements, cake is so well designed & they are most definitely the Edward Scissor hands of artistic cake design! Perfect thanks you!

He ordenado que mi esposa sea un pastel de cumpleaños de la tienda de azúcar dulce. y no estaba seguro de que el pastel sería muy bueno porque había ordenado solo un día antes de la fiesta. el chef de allí lo hizo de manera fantástica. y él enciende mi noche Estoy seguro de que obtendremos un nuevo miembro en mi familia después de 9 meses debido a ese pastel

If you love cakes then this is cake heaven! There are so many to choose from and they're all amazing. They have great tea and coffee here too,The staff are always super nice and friendly. Thank you very much for you chef owner Adel , the cake was amazing, coming back soon.

This cake was for my Mother’s 75th Birthday party. It was absolutely perfect!! Guests at the party were raving about how beautiful it was. Then, once the cake was cut and everybody started eating, people could not stop talking about how delicious it was! Everyone wanted to know where we got it. It was pink and white cake with jam and cream filling . The cake was SO moist and the filling was amazing. I will definitely be ordering from sweet sugar city road again! Thank you!! “xx

Ordered our wedding cake from here and couldn’t have been happier. From the first day we walked in for the cake Adil, Phillip was very nice, informative and patient with us. Their pricing is very reasonable for what you get. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delicious. Thanks again sweet sugar Cakes! I highly recommend.

Usually we go in and pick a cake for any occasion and have it personalised. They have freshly made cakes available all the time. This time as it was our son's 1st birthday we opted to have one made to order due to the size of the party we were having. My wife described what she wanted, a two tier rosette cake in different shades of blue, top layer chocolate, bottom layer vanilla. OH MY GOD… we were left speechless at how beautiful the cake was. we simply could not get over it. we do not have the words to describe how perfect this cake was. it tasted fantastic, both layers were excellent. 100% incredibly marvellous. it was absolutely divine. everyone at the party was simply amazed at how stunning it was. we cannot thank you enough for making our son's birthday special, but thank you.

This places makes the best cakes you can find in Cardiff. I can never fault them. We always get our cakes from here. Prices are good too. Would recommend.
