We met Metin as we first walked in, he gave us complete control over the aux, making mine and my partner’s experience extremely memorable, on top of that, the food was excellent and the service was beyond brilliant!! Will be coming back soon, the best Valentine’s Day! 💕

Wonderfully decorated restaurant with great food. The kisir and lamb's liver were brilliant. Mediterranean pide and humus kavurma were good. Pilsner Efes was tasty. Fair prices and lovely service! Would return 👍🏾

This place is great! Atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are really friendly. They know what they’re doing and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is very good with some Turkish classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Fantastic value for money and will be returning frequently! All I can say is WOW!! Popped in here as we both fancied a different cuisine and what a little gem. The atmosphere is very authentic, service is just brilliant and the food was spot on! We only ordered little plates of food as we didn't want a full meal at lunchtime but still left feeling full and content! The bread is just to die for!

Having been to many Turkish restaurants (in Turkiye) I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the heart of Cardiff. Authentic Turkish cuisine which was superb, served by great staff (Metin in particular). We will definitely be calling again. Thoroughly recommend Lezzet.

My family/friends helped celebrate my birthday on a wet cold, evening with dinner at the Lezzet Turkish kitchen in Cardiff and we had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and helped us decide what dishes to share with our group of 9. I forgot my cake and they surprised me with such a delicious Turkish dessert with candlelight on top and offered us one drink. Metin one of the staff made my day. The food was fresh and delicious. We will be adding this to our takeout list and local favourites! I recommend Lezzet for any dinner celebration. Many thanks 😊

Very dissapointed with the food I felt the pide was not as good as other Turkish restaurants and was a bit hard on edges, lahmachun did not taste fresh. I usually order a salad with my pide and I always regret it this time there was just a small tomato and salad leaves. My wife who is Turkish said she would not visit again. We went on a quiet lunchtime

Nice food, nice atmosphere, good service. Food was a bit salty, they are happy to look into this. Hope next time when I go for a meal this issue will be fixed, food won't be salty. Thank you lezzet.

Really good mixed meze platter. Fresh and delicious. Lightly seasoned. Mixed grill platter came with a fabolous crisp and herbal salad. The chicken wings and lamb ribs were our favorites. We left really full.

We ate here with friends while on a day out in Cardiff. Absolutely delicious food with fantastic service and a great atmosphere. I had mixed grill and all the meat was so tender and tasty and plentiful. My partner and friends said the same about their's. Would certainly eat here again and I would highly recommend that you pay this place a visit.

Went there for our anniversary. The ambiance was great, food came in on time didn’t have to wait for long. Good quality food friendly staffs. Toilet was clean too.

Ok,, we visited this place before the wales and turkiye game as one of our friend who lives in the area recommended it,, l understand yesterday they were full with football supporters,, but service were really slow and late,, waited long time for everything,, ordered liver was swimming in the butter and were under seasoned,, asked to get another which never came,,meats tasted ok but nothing special,, overall experience weren’t as good as their rivals in the area which we visited after the game and had much better food and service,, on days like yesterday they should have been better prepared,,

Was quite disappointed with this restaurant, my first time there. My daughter had been before and said about the dips that came with the main course, as we had the same as she'd had previously...They didn't!! As we left, all the tables that were occupied had quite a few small pots on their tables. I don't know if they forgot ours or couldn't be bothered. So won't be going there again. It's the little touches that makes the experience better....

Had a fantastic evening with friends. Despite the restaurant being very busy the staff had us seated on time. After placing our orders the food arrived quite quickly. It was well set out on the plate. Our meals looked fantastic and tasted better. The staff remained attentive but were unobtrusive. Both food and drinks were reasonably priced. A great evening was had by us all. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

My favourite Turkish restaurant ever!

Really good food! We went on a busy Saturday night when there were 2 large parties. As well as our party of 20. Service was quick considering our party size, a bit chaotic as a lot of people didn't know the pronunciation of their food so had no idea what was coming to the table when staff called it out. Staff were helpful and easy to get the attention of when more drinks were needed. Definitely worth a try

Authentic feeling restaurant with good service and wonderful food. The staff were good at accommodating our large group and despite the numbers still managed to serve both drinks and food quickly. The menu has a good mix of items with a few photos to assist anyone not familiar with the cuisine and there’s a wide choice of drinks. The sharing platter for two was huge, with brilliant quality meat and it ended up being impressive value. The side of rice was of the same great quality too. Drinks are a little more expensive but local options are available. The atmosphere was nice and added to the authentic vibe. Toilets are up the spiral staircase and although small were clean enough, but the open kitchen area was great to observe. Overall it was a great evening meal and I’d certainly consider again when needing a Turkish fix!

Visited the restaurant on Sunday around 3 pm and it was crowded but the service and food were amazing. The food portions are very good to share! We were served chai and baklava as complementary! It was very yummy baklava freshly baked that morning.

We came in without a reservation and were seated immediately. Food and service was great. My food allergies were catered to and we had a wonderful time.

Excellent food. Poor service, an older male waiter was very disrespectful towards one of the ladies in our group. What should have been a joyful experience left a bad taste. Sadly I will not return to the Cardiff branch.

We found that the food is very tasty and delicious, a delight to our palate! The meats are well marinated & flavorful. Pairing the meat with the home-made chili sauce is a must to fully complete the flavor of the meal.

Haftasonu gezisi için gittiğimiz Cardiff’de Lezzet restaurantı gördük ve denemek istedik. İyi ki de denemişiz. Lahmacun ve adana kebab yedik. Her şey çok lezzetliydi. Personel çok ilgiliydi. Özellikle Metin bey bizimle yakından alakadar oldu. Herkese tavsiye ederiz.

Nice place, good staff, service was slow, food is good, overpriced for what you get. One skewer of chicken Shish and a very small portion of rice can’t be £18! Was asked if I want bulgur or rice, I started only rice and asked again if it’s white rice only she confirmed, I still got a mix of bulgur and rice :/ We didn’t even get offered the lunchtime menu, we realised later on when we left from the website, there is a lunch time menu from 12-3pm Won’t be going back.

The service was half decent the decor a bit old fashioned, food looked amazing but tasted the complete opposite.

First and last trip here for us sadly. Read great reviews but the service was just a let down. Cold bread (which we had to prompt the staff for, no tazaiki like other people got). The main course was lovely. But the constant having to ask staff for things was getting a bit silly, they had a huge party of tourists visit which they clearly couldn’t cater for. We had wrong wine, cold bread, asking for tea (which others got straight away). In the end we gave up prompting staff and just paid up and left. Won’t return sadly!

Lovely Turkish food at Lezzet, we all enjoyed our meal here. The bread they bring out is so nice and you can see it being freshly made out of the oven. We had the cold vegetarian mezze and cheese parcels. The vegetarian pide pizza was also lovely. The service was really good too, very attentive and helpful.

Great food reasonable price and nice atmosphere

Food was absolutely amazing, we couldn't eat it all so we had to put it in a box and take it home. It will feed our family for two more days I believe as Turkish people are very generous with the food and not only. Excellent service provided by Nezrat who was so friendly we ended up talking like we were best friends. For us the most important thing when we go out is to find a clean place and trust me, this place is spotless. I am not related in any way to the restaurant, we were there while on holiday but will definitely go back asap.

In some restaurants, the location may not be significant because people are solely focused on the taste. However, this place was also selected with the purpose of emphasizing flavour, but we didn't prefer the tightly packed tables and the excessively noisy ambiance. As for the taste, it can be considered average; please excuse me, but we are quite familiar with Turkish cuisine. The portions were small for the price they asked. Would I go there again? No, I wouldn't. P.S the waitress girl was amazing sorry not to take her name .(Long dark hair , slim and taking care of upstairs)

Called in without a reservation. Very attentive staff. Great menu selection & reasonably priced. Free olives & warm flat bread on table. Brought complimentary additions with our starters. Busy restaurant, but service & food was great. Will definitely return.

We were taken care of by people who know what they are doing. We left after a marvellous meal , every mouthful tasty,Feeling valued as a customer by friendly staff.

Had dinner here yesterday after my sons graduation it was very cold and they sat us right near the door. The food was slightly above average, so perfectly acceptable, lacking in sauces, rather slow between courses. The place is very clean and tidy. As are the staff, service was average definitely wouldn’t call it attentive having got to the end of the meal I probably would’ve gone back there again, mainly based on the fact that it was halal and very convenient to the centre of town, however when we asked for the bill we were told at that point that it’s cash only!! which I find utterly ridiculous. If you are going to to be cash only then it should be stated upon entry to the restaurant so that a choice can be made having to run to the cashpoint in order to to pay the bill wasn’t a comfortable position to be put in and having done all that they still expected a £15 service charge on the bill to be paid. We proceeded to get them cash and paid. They couldn’t even be bothered to say goodbye upon leaving. if you want to dodge tax try not to make your customer uncomfortable in the process

Dined in for my graduation dinner with my family and had an amazing time. The team were understanding even though we arrived very late for our booking and still have us excellent service afterwards. Drinks were strong ! And the food was delicious , good portion sizes. We had the seafood lezzet which is almost like stewed fish in tomato sauce, the sea sass and shared mixed grill for 3, plus bread and dips. All delicious although we felt slightly overcharged on the platter for 3 instead of two people we had great service and food . Would recommend for a graduation dinner
