Made to feel very welcome. Food was outstanding and service equally so. Great entertainment when it was a customer's birthday. Would recommend a visit if you are in Cardiff.

We didn't have a reservation but we were promptly seated. Had the mixed platter and kleftico. All the meats were very tasty. The mashed potatoes that accompanied the lamb wasn't the best but the lamb made it forgivable. The raspberry cooler was refreshingly sweet and the bartender was kind enough to make a strawberry version for my son. Overall, a nice experience. Would definitely visit again.

What an amazing place in the heart of Cardiff! Excellent food, welcoming staff. My son felt like meeting old friends 😃Good variety of food but if you have fussy little eaters with you, there are fish finger and chicken nugget options for them. But for all others - try traditional Turkish food and you will not regret it. If we ever return to Cardiff, we will return to Lezzet Turkish Kitchen.

Beautiful setting, great atmosphere, excellent authentic Turkish food, excellent service with a personal touch. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful when deciding what to eat.

I visited Lezzet in Autumn 2024 for dinner. I had the mixed grill plate (pictured). The food was exceptional - all fresh and well cooked. Service was great and accommodating. I would recommend and visit again!

Not being locals and in need of good diner, the gamble on Turkish usually pays off at value and taste. Location is excellent and the styling was very welcoming. The restaurant was very busy for midweek evening, again a good sign. The service from start to finish was very good and friendly. Food was very tasty (lentil soup and anything out of the grill was perfect). Starters were too small portions (mixed meze on huge plate is just table space wasted) but mains were good size and delicious. It's on the pricey side but the experience was good.

Me and my family went there in July and we were looking for a place to pray Asr and they welcomed us and gave us space to pray and to do Wudhuu. Even after we finished, they gave us free tea and refused to let us pay. Everything there was delicious and the service was beyond excellent. Thank you to everyone there 💓

I wouldn't say it is the best Turkish restaurant I've ever been, but it still deserves 5* Staff are very welcoming, explaining the menu, and offering some bread, humus, and the best olives while I am waiting for my food. I've ordered a mixed shish, the portion is reasonable, but I was very hungry and had to order a lahmacum to topped up. Location is in the heart of town, just a few steps from the castle and the shopping centre. The restaurant is very clean and bright. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Cardiff.

Delicious food. Generous portions. I had a chicken shisk and other half had Chicken Princess. Sauvignon Blanc was good and again a generous glass. We had a slight wait but a large party was in just before us.

We have eaten at Lezzet several times in the last few months and the food and service have been brilliant every time. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere in the restaurant is always warm and relaxed no matter how busy it is. The menu is really varied offering a wide range of traditional Turkish cuisine - everything we have tried so far has been absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Sarma Beyti - it’s a flavour sensation! Give it a go. You will not be disappointed.

Really delicious, and such a lively, friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredible. They did forget to bring up our Moroccan mint tea, but they noticed this mistake after no more than 10 minutes (even we hadn't realised!) and they gave us another one on the house, which we certainly didn't expect, but really appreciated. I'll definitely be coming back!

Food was lovely but the staff hovered around us most of the time. When it came to paying I noticed they'd input an additional £10 (£75 instead of £65), I don't think it was an accident?!

Mr. Nevzat was very polite and provided excellent service. The flavors of the place were legendary, I highly recommend it. If you go, be sure to get in touch with Mr. Nevzat.

Service was weird and slow, food was even worse. 3 calarmaris for £7 and the starter bread was just a few scraggly trimmings of leftover bread, I should've taken a photo. Can tell they just try to cut corners and do not care.

Not the best Turkish restaurant I've been to. My experience broken down below: Food/Presentation (3/5) - As you can see from the pictures, I ordered the chicken beyti. The pieces were just thrown on the plate with the sauce just slapped about. This didn't concern me too much initially, as it's the taste that matters. But even that was underwhelming. They also didn't bother to give me any salad Service (2/5) - Not very warm or attentive. The bloke serving seemed like he was being inconvenienced when I asked about the items. He just wanted to go back to his seat on his phone. Not at all surprised they then couldn't be bothered with providing salad or any effort into the presentation. Tables/location (5/5) - the restaurant itself was very spacious, clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. Overall, a 2/5 for me. Nowhere near as good as other Turkish restaurants I've been to. For the price I paid, I was expecting better.

Great quality authentic Turkish dishes, cooked fresh and delicious to taste. Very personable service from Antonio who looked after us and made our visit very special. Welcoming and friendly and everything was timed really well. Would definitely book again. Such a wide choice of dishes and reasonable prices.

We should have been taking our daughter out for her birthday meal, but she couldn't make it at the last minute. Big mistake !. So we still went and will be back as soon as we can. Wonderful meal, excellent service, lovely amibiance. We started with Hellim, then had the Meat Musakka - absolutely gorgeous. We also arrived 1/2 hour early - no problem for them, we were seated in minutes. Thankyou to all the staff there for the expeience.

The service is very late. The kebab I wanted came in 40 minutes. Everything is very expensive.

I went for the 'seafood Lezzet way' meal and I was thoroughly satisfied with the taste and portion of the food. Full of flavour which I will come back to whenever I'm back in Cardiff. Turkish food is top tier!! S/O to Antonio!

With my wife we were on a few days visit in Cardiff. Lezzet was our choice for dinner. I thought I have tried all the food from the region but there was something different in the dish of appetizers. Along with the babaganoush, hummus, tabouli, cacik and pink flavored yogurt, there was Kisir. The taste was very powerful and at the same time intriguing friendly. All that with the in house made owen pita bread was a great complement to the raki and the beer EFES. The baked lamb shank was cooked to perfection and was melting in my mouth 🤌 The staff was super friendly and at the same time professional. If you are a foodie, do yourself a favor and visit Lezzet.

We ordered mixed grill meat with rice and chips but we didn't get the chips until the end the service very poor they were not happy with us because we didn't order wine or alcohol

Amazing food and great service.

Who comes to Cardiff and eats Turkish food? Well I do from now on. We order the shared plate for 2 and it was delicious and the servings were very generous! The Turkish chili n the side added just the right amount of heat. Finished with baklava and Turkish tea. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable, popped in on a whim and so glad we did. Served hot bread and dips as an appetiser before mains of chicken wings and sarma beyti both meals came beautifully presented and the taste was amazing. Shout out too Antonio and the staff who made the experience a 10/10

Food is good. Staff were not very welcoming, they looked rather annoyed. They asked to pay by cash not card which was weird. He wasn't very happy when we said we don't have cash. He brought the card machine which worked fine.

Staff was very welcoming from the second we walked in. The service was very quick with ordering our food and it being placed in front of us. The food… wow it was amazing. Chicken princess was literally mouth watering. Highly recommend this restaurant! 5 stars all round!!

The food was tasty but the services were awful. We told the staff we had 9 people but they only provided 8 sets of cutlery and water glasses. As half of our gang were kids/ youngsters and we didn’t have a big stomach, we ordered a platter (for 4 persons) and a pizza with kid meals to share. The staff then just gave us 5 plates to use for sharing, thinking that some of us were not going to eat anything. 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill, and the staff insisted that we should pay by cash even none of us had so much cash in hand. The good quality of food was simply ruined by the poor customer services.

This gentleman who welcomed us was clearly not interested- wearing white shirt while other waiters were dark colour. Then at the end he had the cheek to ask for cash only, despite standing next to a card payment machine. Food is average Absolutely awful experience. Never returning

One of the best Turkish dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely delicious - full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. Those who work are not respectful and do not respect people’s desire to choose, and sometimes they increase the bill.

They were very disrespectful and the staff were very racist we were so uncomfortable we couldn't even eat our meal this is the last time for me and the food was not good👎🏻

Customer service was fantastic...very polite and friendly from greeting you to you leaving. The team spirit was more than work to them...it felt more like a family vibe... Nothing was a bother at all....my first proper night out meal other than Indians since being diagnosed as coeliac. They made the visit very pleasant by their patients and understanding. There was plenty of options and they'd substitute where necessary for the set menu parts. Great menu for drinks as well as food and overall a fantastic evening.

Stumbling upon this restaurant right in the heart of the vibrant Cardiff city centre was the true definition of a happy accident. With the weather being just right, we couldn’t resist to sit outside, and enjoy the surroundings while we dine. Waiter was welcoming and hilarious, and the food was packed with an amalgamation of flavors that were a joy to munch on. As a tourist exploring Cardiff for the first time, this dining experience was one of the highlights of my time in this beautiful city. Highly recommend.

We just ate here and it was stunning. As soon as we sat down our waiter Ali looked after. He recommended the sharing platter and also a starter to share. Both were beautiful. He constantly checks on you to make sure your ok and tops up your drink. The price we paid was also very reasonable. We will definitely come back.

I visited as a solo diner and was promptly attended to. There’s a very good selection of dishes on the menu and the quality of food was great. Reasonably priced too, with good service from the staff. James, in particular, was very welcoming and very knowledgeable and friendly.

Had an ok experience. The food was nice. The staff were a bit annoying and there was a bit of confusion which led to us not getting to eat much of our starters before they were taken away. We were told they’d be bought back and then laugh at when we asked about them later. We’re still sitting here waiting for our bill 30mins later. Staff have disappeared and we’re all pretty annoyed. Has become a pretty bad experience.

Spent a few very pleasant hours at Lezzet this afternoon. We were a group of six. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. ANTONIO our waiter was great. He had endless patience, a great sense of humour and was very attentive. We will be visiting again.

Been here twice during my short stay in Cardiff. Absolutely a splendid restaurant, very warm and welcoming staff, very attentive service, all the food ( meze platter, lahmacun, grill, baklava, rice pudding) we ordered was fabulous. One of the best restaurants in Cardiff not to be missed!

This spot was great, the restaurant had a good atmosphere, and it was very clean. The service was also amazing and we were well taken care of by our waiter Metin. The food was even better and the lamb and calamari were especially tasty. It is by far the best restaurant in Cardiff.

Very friendly staff with amazing food!

Found this by chance on our first night in Cardiff. We are both vegetarian and there were good choices. We had a sharing plate starter followed by moussaka and roast aubergine. All the dishes were beautifully presented, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Amazing food right on the main pedestrian street. It is our go to place when we're in Cardiff. My husband's favourite is lamb ribs. And all the meat dishes are simply delicious.

My wife and I went together for lunch on a leisure trip to Cardiff for the 1st time! Great food and very friendly service, especially by our server Metin who greeted us with a smile and gave us a complimentary starter as well.

If you're in Cardiff and looking for Turkish food, Lizzet is the best. They offer big portions at a reasonable price. We were in Cardiff for a graduation and tried the shank dish, which was juicy and delightful—I had never tasted anything like it before! The fish dishes, both sea bass and salmon, were well-baked with generous portions that filled me up, with some left on my plate at the end. It was a wonderful experience. Though there were plenty of good juice options available. I won't deduct points for that because I prefer fresh juices not from the packets. The food was amazing, and the service was continuous and attentive. Can I give Lizzet more than 5 stars!!!!!

Rude staff. After we were given a table, the staff member asked us to leave the table and take another table or leave the restaurant ??

We went there as a group of 9 friends on Saturday 13th July and had a great time at the restaurant. Our table manager was Ali who really welcomed us, and added a bit of flair to the service. The food was excellent and because the 9 of us we got to see quite a few dishes. I had the Adana Kofta and it was delicious. We get together as a group every few months and the consensus was that all of the group want to visit Lezzet again. Delighted to write a positive review.

It was a really nice place, the waiters were friendly and smiling, the restaurant was very clean and comfortable, it was the best restaurant I have ever been to and the best food I have eaten, I loved it, I recommend it.

As a Turkish person, I can say this food is very authentic and delicious. The owner was very thoughtful and kind. The lahmacun was great and very crispy. The lentil soup was also very delicious. 100% recommended. And it’s halal!

The impact of service. The food was very nice and the building very pleasant. However, the server was just not interested…and what made that more evident was another server doing an amazing job for the table next to us. We had to ask for everything…not once did he come to our table without being asked. Table next us with a different server…smiles, laughs, recommendations, complimentary starters, check the food was good, baclava with their coffee. Turkish restaurants are famous for their service and genuine hospitality. In our experience….here it is a gamble on who you get.

This was such a hidden gem!! I have a dairy allergy and the host was so accommodating and welcoming changing things to not cross contaminate!! They have a huge selection of both gluten free and vegan items!! I definitely recommend!!

We had been there today in Eid day for dinner. Overall the place was really nice and all the food was fresh, nicely presented and really tasty. Everyone liked the food. And highly satisfied with their service and behaviour.
