The chips could have been cooked nicer but other than that, fantastic! The cleanliness is perfect, the customer service is top notch! My brother has profound additional needs so the patience from the waitresses were fantastic! Thank you ever so much!! It does look really run down and unwelcoming on the outside, management does need to sort that out. I did have concerns but when I saw others inside, I was happy to try it and I am thrilled that I did. Burgers were filling!! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

I don’t know if there is a new chef but the food has changed considerably. I ate here 2 years ago maybe and it was average at best but this time was different. Everything was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Average £16 a main is very good value too

when order arrived it was cold and was missing the chips. I phoned to say what happened and he said what do u want me to do about it. all I wanted was a sorry that's not acceptable. he then offered me £5 off next time but I'd paid £4 for chips so he was actually offering me £1. more helpful and kind staff would be nice. £26.99 for 2 kebabs. ridiculous s

My 24 year old autistic brother came to your pub last night as he desperately needed help. He’s autistic is a lovely, kind and very trusting young man. He was stranded in Bridgend by a so called friend. None of us are familiar with Bridgend. His phone had run out of battery and he needed to get home to Barry. He was alone, drunk and he is very vulnerable! Without being able to use his phone he couldn’t call an Uber or phone home for help. He came to your pub to ask for help, just needed to charge his phone for a few minutes so he could call an uber, but the bouncers/security on the door would not let him in. He told them he was desperate, practically begging... What absolute disgusting behaviour from these power hungry so called men. He was alone in a place miles from home. He just wanted to come into the pub to ask for help and to charge his phone for a few minutes! My brother was extremely anxious! Luckily a takeaway place helped him. They let him charge his phone so he could order an Uber. He came home at 330am! Extremely upset and my mother was out of her mind with worry. Maybe you should learn that a little kindness to somebody who is asking for help, who is clearly and visibly vulnerable, goes a long way!

Went for Sunday lunch, when it was served ok but was cold, taken back to the kitchen for warming up brought back to the table it wasn't any warmer. Left and won't be going back.

Unfortunately despite the new owners being nice I can't write a good review for this place. I ordered a large chips cheese and gravey this evening but the quality was awful. The chips barely half filled the container, there was basically no cheese and the gravey was like water. The portions have quite literally halved from the previous owners and some of the chips were still solid to. Wish I could of wrote a better review, but I cannot recommend this place as of now.

Ordered ice cream sundaes as have many times. Before to be told they don't Accept cash only card so we walked out the prices are so overpriced If you go around the corner you can get the same sundaes for three £s cheaper Will not be going to Pietros again!!!

Portion size absolutely ridiculous, ripped off if anything smallest cartons and portions in maesteg by a country mile £35 order would advise EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS PLACE if you actually want a decent sized meal

We were passing and decided to go for a meal as we had never been before, the food was of a very poor standard, we ordered a vegetable curry which could only be described as being a curried bag of frozen vegetables. The rest of the food was also poor and of a low standard. The service however was good.

Greeting by staff using a swear word to describe another member of staffs laziness followed by the worst flat white I've ever had which was poured away.

Come here once have come here ever since, probably come every month, prices are brilliant, service they are lovely, clean place I’d 100% advise
