Milano"s coffe house in Bridgend

The chips could have been cooked nicer but other than that, fantastic! The cleanliness is perfect, the customer service is top notch! My brother has profound additional needs so the patience from the waitresses were fantastic! Thank you ever so much!! It does look really run down and unwelcoming on the outside, management does need to sort that out. I did have concerns but when I saw others inside, I was happy to try it and I am thrilled that I did. Burgers were filling!! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Three things I ordered were not available so I settled for a baguette with chicken and sweet chiilli sauce. I had one bite. That was more than enough. I was served a giant hot dog roll with heated up chicken chunks and some sauce poured over. No salad and the chicken looked like something a dog would have in its food Bottled water arrived without a glass and no ice. It was a very hot day. When I asked for a glass it was hot. My sons chips were hot and very nice with some fresh salad and a burger in a bap, poor quality. Mothers meal never materialised as waitress failed to write it down. Lacks pleasant surroundings. No atmosphere More like a workmen's cafe. Cafe was almost empty at lunch time. Only went because the cafe Iced was closed. Never again.

Friendly welcoming cafe. Quality food. The breakfast is very good. Excellent covid arrangements. All on one level. Good prices for top quality food.

Firstly I would like to address the quality of food. Last year I had food with my partner and two children.. it was awful the kids sausages were burnt and the beans were already cold when they got to us. I had a sweet chilli chicken baguette.. what came out was some chicken..in a hot dog roll.. apparently that passes for a baguette these days. My partner ordered a bacon baguette same issue. We decided a to give this restaurant another chance the other day.. this time I ordered a cheese and bacon toastie and my partner ordered a bacon and cheese baguette and cheese sticks .. we had received a burnt toastie to the point I was scraping the burnt off.. the bacon was rubbery and also my hot chocolate was clearly galaxy instant! My partner received yet again bacon and cheese in a hot dog roll.. no baguette in sight. The cheese sticks were clearly frozen as the inside was still cold. The price was ridiculous for what you get, staff are miserable! Overall worst place I’ve eaten.

Called there for Saturday breakfast. Absolutely lovely, freshly cooked and portions generous to say the least. My parents called there for lunch following my recommendation and they too were impressed with quality of food and service.

Their toasted tea cakes are such good value for money ,the choice of menu is great .nice and airy restraint

I recently visited Milanos for breakfast with my work colleagues and I can honestly say that the breakfast was excellent I had a mega breakfast which costs £7.50 but you get 3 bacon 2 eggs 2 sausages black pudding mushrooms beans tomatoes hash brown and fried potatoes with 2 rounds of toast and a milky coffee or tea and it really fills you up and I can highly recommend milanos for a breakfast and I will definitely be returning

I called in here on a Saturday lunchtime, the café was warm and cosy; it was about half full. I sat for a while and read the extensive menu, I chose to eat a late breakfast. I ordered at the counter and paid £4.50 for a medium breakfast with coffee. The coffee promptly arrived and was delicious, the waitress gave my the code for the wifi which had a strong signal. The breakfast arrived soon after and was beautifully cooked and piping hot. I did my very best to finish it but it proved just too much.. sorry for sending a little food back. Whilst dining I found the atmosphere very pleasant, the staff were busy but found time for everyone, lots of greetings and goodbye's. I will certainly return as it proved excellent value for money...

I've been here twice for breakfast, it's always empty so the atmosphere is a bit awkward, the food was okay.. Not really worth the £4.50 and then £1 for a can of coke, the staff seem a bit put out too if they have a customer

Very convenient café on the main street in the middle of Maesteg town centre. Large selection on the menu, breakfasts are generous and almost everything you could want for breakfast is on the list. This café is very popular with families.

I paid £4.99 for a breakfast and tea, service was okay, not many customers so atmosphere was quiet and eery. Breakfast was definitely not worth the money. Very hard to chew through the bacon. I would rate it average

Aweful! Been there twice now, first time had a breakfast an it wasn't that special, an staff are rude and stuck up, second time was worse waitresses can't understand you, ordered cod which came out disgustingly Appaling not fresh but a cheap white fish in batter looks lile the 4-£1 from Iceland, never again!
