Costa Coffee in Bridgend

We always sit in the garden, but it has deteriorated rapidly over the months..... they need to dig up the weeds & plant some easy to maintain shrubs...

Disappointing Maple Hazel latte , too strong with cream. Better balance without cream . I find small take outs are too strong aswell.

On arrival we asked if dogs were allowed to be told as of three weeks ago yes they were. This was a completely new adventure for Sasha our New Zealand Huntaway as we are trying to socialise her in different environments, she is not use to going anywhere. We felt very welcome and the two young gentlemen serving on the counter couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, one which (sorry didn't get his name) even got a lovely slobbery kiss from Sasha and she says thankyou for the treat she loved it. All staff were brilliant and a credit to the company.

Late in the day but all staff were friendly. Cake and tea were delicious. 😋

Great service as usual. Was on way home from a dogwalk so I ordered my coffee as a takeaway, then got the dog and we sat outside and shared a biscuit, and the dog enjoyed the dregs from the cardboard cup 🍪☕😊🐶

Always busy when I’m there but staff are always friendly and efficient. Shop is clean and tidy.

Service not so good today, but it was quite busy, food was ready before coffee so was starting to cool down before we could eat it.

Coffee was great, cake was lovely, all tables were being cleared as people left. Great place for a coffee and a chat.

Terrible service. Asked for a soya terrys chocolate orange hot chocolate and it was only half full... When i asked if they minded topping it up i was met with eye rolling and she made me a new hot chocolate. When i explained it was terrys again she rolled her eyes. When i got to my table i realised it was cold. My nan then gen asked them to warm it up and they didnt add the terrys syrup. 3 drinks... All wrong and terrible customer service.

Rude staff. Asked politely to have my toastie as it was done and meet with eye rolling and if I had bothered the waitress to do her job! Was then handed a burnt toastie with a sarcastic enjoy!! Not impressed this store need some customer training worst Costa store I've ever used won't be going back!

Awful service, really rude members of staff who stood doing nothing (Tonia) and the spoke about us to her collegues. Told we couldn't have a table if 4 (as there were 2 if us- hoping to use the space for laptops, files etc)....despite one table being laid and used for raffle prizes. After telling us to move tables said member of staff then went and sat with someone and chatted while the staff at the counted had to call upon her twice to come and help serve!! Service from one woman in particular was extremely rude, then a 2nd member of staff came over after an hour and rudely told us 'you can have the table now, its busy in the morning'. Staff here are clearly very unhappy and need some training in manners and customer service. £4 for the smaller ice coffee ever. Bad service, poor produce. We won't be back

Nice cooling iced coffee on a hot day - Yum!

Please wash milk jugs between use or use clean one and stop adding fresh milk to continuously boiled old milk in jug !! My coffee tasted like overheated burnt milk lazy tasking

Ordered one of the Ice drinks and asked for no coffee. It tasted like there was coffee in it and so I couldn't drink it. Yuck!

I always love coming here whenever passing. It was a less busier today than usual and a seat was available straight away. It always has great service and it didn't disappoint me today either. Keep up the great work.

Met friends had a couple of coffees with them. The staff were really friendly, very efficient and cleaning tables when customers left.

Food is expensive and more expensive when M and S was introduced but at the same time is tasty. Staff are always brilliant- friendly and attentive.This, I would say, is the best Costa in Bridgend. My drinks are always good and consistent.

When you really hope the Barista can do a decent flat white! Oh my! He nailed it and more! Thank you Joe.

Very friendly staff, always polite and helpful. Clean, pretty much the same as every other Costa otherwise so you know what you are getting as they are consistent. Good range of products, seasonal options too 👍

Bean and green bean added for use of my own Costa mug this time. Toasted sandw dry and tasteless. Cappu good as always and pleasant staff.

Dirty tables, poor service food put by till area where other customers are hovering over breathing all over it, teacake was not edible as under toasted more like having a stale tea cake. Was not impressed

Great service from the staff. The young lady training at the til looked very nervous but she did great. Coffee was among as always and a good selection of travel cups and bottles were available on sale.

Store opened Sunday at 8:00am this week. Lovely friendly service. Lovely Latte, Chocolate and morning baps. Yum yum.

We sat outside in the sunshine with our cake and frappe. The lime and coconut cake is delicious.

Have always had friendly service here. Good mix of airy and cosy seating. Good amount of outdoor seating too, which is west facing so nicely shaded on hot days.

Coffee here's always good, I've had their Decaf for 3 ?, Years since they opened, Handy with Gregg's ment food, And excellent Pizzas next to that.

Great place to visit for a coffee and light bites. Good selection of coffees, cake's and snacks. Prices not cheap but there are meal deals available at certain times of the year. Staff very friendly only downside is lack of space as table's very close together in a confined area which is why I have only rated it 3 stars.

Typical experience. Amazed at how long it takes 'trained baristas' to actually make a cup of coffee. I've had no training but sure I could do it in fraction of the time. 3 people in front of me and had to wait nearly 10 mins for a coffee. Completely ridiculous, over complicated, over priced, over rated - don't know why i keep putting myself thru it.

This place has the friendliest and most helpful team members out of all of the Costa shops we visit. There is plenty of parking including disabled parking. The disabled toilets are clean. The coffee shop, as a whole, was immaculate. All of the tables were clean and the floor didn't have food and rubbish everywhere. Unusual for a bust Saturday afternoon. This is clearly a very well managed and organised store.

Clean, quick service and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. If you park right in front of costa you can get their wifi in your car.

They had clear signage and info regarding Covid safety but they weren't asking for customer details for track n trace. They only had a barcode to scan but my phone doesn't work on them. Staff friendly and helpful but was given a medium sized coffee which I didn't ask for. But obviously was charged for that size.

Appalling service stood in queue for some time I then required the toilet I asked the manager Hannah I believe could I use toilet I was told yes , I then went to stand back in the queue and was abruptly and loudly told you need to go to the end of the queue …. Absolutely awful service very embarrassing been a regular for years will not return to this Costa the manager needs customer service training . The staff however are fantastic

This place has awful service. Unhelpful staff and they always looked over worked. Already queues and waiting time is always long. There never seems to be any organisation with the running for the coffee area.

Long long wait considering half a dozen people in queue. Told off in a very gruff manner to stay 2metre distance apart which most were doing until you got into the coffee shop where browsing at the snack display made social distancing difficult. Not very pleasant staff, not courteous or personable. Quite rude and looked stressed out.

Speedily attended to. 50 pence offer great. Normally wouldn't go there due to cost. Staff genuine. Managing covid conditions really well.

Ordered a cappuccino and toffee spiced whatever thingamy bob. Forgot to say iced toffee spiced... as I had my mask on, that was my excuse/ mistake. But the barista who served me didn't bat an eye. Just made a fresh iced one. No hassle. Great service.

Horrible experience, I will never return. Slow and horrible customer service. Ordered trough app 4 coffees and they were not marked properly, even tho we asked which was which when we picked up, the girl was very rude saying it were already marked... We spent 5min in the car finding out which one was each... Marked a Salted Caramel latte as SC and soya hot chocolate just painting on the S of Costa... Another soya drink wasn't marked at all... Very dangerous when talking on alternative milks as there could be someone with a severe allergy...

Cold wet morning first coffee of the day went down like silk, recommend giving them a little time and try one of there coffee's
