Came here for coffee and hot chocolates while shopping. Got to the end of my hot chocolate only to feel a lump in my mouth, spat it back in the glass and it was a huge fly!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Was given a refund for the drink but others in my family were then put off finishing their drinks. On closer inspection there were several flies around the drinks machine. The drinks are expensive enough for what you actually get, obviously cleanliness and attention to detail are lacking. Give this a wide berth !!

Really impressed with everything here. Generous serving amounts and the price was very reasonable. Beautiful flavours to the ice cream and a great selection. Service was good and atmosphere very lively. Will be the main reason I visit mcarthur glen in the future is to gets me, me siddoli fix.

Called in for a light bite to find they had run out of many things on the menu. Rude, arrogant service. Felt like I was doing them an enormous favour. Lot of other similar reviews on here, so obviously the owner’s don’t care. Spend your money elsewhere.

We always go here and everything has always been as you’d expect a busy cafe to be but this time it was awful my Panini was like a house brick and we had to beg for the ham salad that was sat in the kitchen 40 minutes after I know they were busy but not the best today… in fairness normally good.

Well over priced food and drink, small and crammed area. Not recommended for the price and quantity you receive for it. Staff were friendly.

Bought BLT. Bacon had been incinerated in a Nuclear Attack. Took back to counter,and complained. Replacement came,just as bad as first one. Inedible,left on plate,couldn't be bothered complaining for second time. Won't be returning. Avoid.

Lovely latte, nice chilled atmosphere

In a prime location in the McArthur Glen mall, this cafe is often very busy but keeps its standards high. Great coffee and ice-cream as well as more substantial meals.

Ordered BBQ chicken baguette, cold and tasteless, plastered in butter. Took ages to arrive and they didn’t even know about our order.

Plenty of seating, nice and clean inside and out, the toasties where spot on 👌🏻🤤, the Welsh cake ice-cream is so good 😊 and the staff were smiley and friendly

Visited a number of times before and always had good service and food... This time had a minor exception in that first time around, the'hot' food was cold and frozen inside. Returned with explanation and could not fault the response.. New plate of food, as it should have been. A little disappointing on first delivery but well rectified. Will certainly return

My visit to the Café was quite disappointing. The waiter forgot to include a spoon with my cappuccino - but it must be provided by default, a seemingly simple task, given the sparse crowd. Moreover, he failed to notify me when my coffee was ready. Upon retrieving it, I was dismayed to find no teaspoon, prompting a return to the counter. To my dismay, the provided spoon was disgustingly filthy. Hoped for a tranquil coffee break, but the chaotic service and unclean utensils shattered that dream. Sadly, I couldn't even savor the coffee. It feels like my money went down the drain.

Tried to order a coffee but didn't have a table number because I was alone and it was busy. Said I'd be outside on a table bybthe door, but couldn't reserve a table and order simultaneously. Didn't have anything of no value to leave on a table. Abruptly and rudely told "well I need a table number". I simply replied with an "ok no problem" and took my custom elsewhere. What annoys me is that I was only stopping because I have a severe spine problem so need to stop regularly to take breaks and take my medication. Cakes looked nice but won't be returning to be spoken to with gritted teeth.

Food has always been good.service excellent and very friendly.

We visited during a busy Saturday lunchtime and found the overall experience to be one that was quite different to a lot of the previous reviews. The food and drinks that we ordered were delivered promptly especially considering how busy it was, both the food and drinks were very nice whilst it wasn’t cheap I did feel it was a fair price for the quality - children’s boxes are a great idea and went down well. The staff behind the counter were welcoming and friendly however the member of staff clearing the tables could hardly muster a grunt. Overall a good experience and we will revisit.

Lovely creamy latte and two really good deluxe mint hit chocolate drinks today. Quickly service today and the lad behind making drinks worked well together. Drinks were great 👍 Also plenty of seating inside and out, very busy coffee shop on the corner next to the undercover children's park and toilets within 100 yards.

Expensive & dreadful coffee and slow service for food even on a quite Friday afternoon, walk straight past Costa not far away & much better.

By playarea and toilets close by. Undercover seating area for people with dogs. Sells doggy ice cream. Gluten free option better than Costa, choice to cakes and neither chocolate yay!

It's an ok kind of place. The children's area outside was busy, but I don't know how busy this caff would be without it. Drab, tired, fed up looking staff. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you want the kids off your back for a bit!

The big appeal of the cafe is it's location: directly at the playground (may also be the downside, if you're not there with kids) and the toilets which are surprisingly clean for public toilets in the UK. Coffee was ok. Prices are too high considering it's self service - but I guess the Brits are used to it

An alternative to Starbucks or Costa, Caffè Sidoli's has a lot of similar standard drinks, cakes and snacks. We have vanilla iced latte's and mint chocolate tiffins. They were reasonably priced and well located next to the children's play area of the Designer outlet.

I went into Sidolis about 5pm to order for myself, my husband and two grandkids. The place was almost empty so I went up to the counter. One lady was serving a gentleman and four other staff members were joking around behind the counter. I was totally ignored by all of them. I stood there for a few more minutes with no acknowledgement so I turned round and left empty handed. Very disappointed as I was really wanting a coffee.

Realise atmosphere and attentive staff

This is our favourite place to stop for a break whilst shopping at the outlet stores. We have tried various sandwiches and jacket potato dishes, but my personal favourite is the salads. The ham or tuna salads are particularly good. Nice selection of salad vegetables with large amount of ham or tuna and comes with a rustic baguette. Would highly recommend this cafe.

Disappointed with the ice cream menu. For an ice cream parlour you can't have sundaes or knickerbocker glory just a cone or an ice cream tub ?

We went for a light lunch and a few coffees today 8th April 2023 and was confronted by two Rude, Obnoxious members of staff who, well let’s just put it this way, they didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t want to serve or help customers… Over charged for the large coffees and served two small ones instead… We then confirmed it was too large coffees?? They grunted, so I went to the counter and asked again for large coffees and she stormed off and dumped one large coffee on the table and took the smaller one away very abruptly… She is definitely in the wrong job… Don’t bring your troubles to work… Would NOT RECOMMEND

After queueing for 10 minutes, told they’re not doing food any longer, even though nothing says that on the signage. I did wonder why three of the people in front of us and left without ordering anything.

I feel I have to leave a review after what should have been a pleasurable bit of lunch - it was a nightmare from beginning to end!! 1. Girl at till forgot to give child's drink for box (easy enough mistake) - I just presumed it came inside box 2. When my sons food box came it was pink - but the young boy said he would change it - at this point I realised the drink wasn't in the box so had to go an ask 3. No forks - had to stand and wait near kitchen whereby the same young girl came from kitchen 3 times with just knives. To the point the only person who seemed to be working asked why I was still waiting & went to fetch me a couple of forks - sorted 4. Whilst I was waiting for the forks my partner came to say that his jacket potato was completely FROZEN. I handed it to the girl behind the till who took it into kitchen 5. The biggest let down of our whole experience is the girl who was working behind the till (who quite obviously didn't want to be there as she stood there yawning) brought the jacket potato to our table. My partner asked that it wasn't the same one and she assured him it wasn't. But she literally threw it down on our table. No APOLOGY can you believe!!! I even had to say as she was about to step away, no apology, she just gave a dirty look. WOW - is this what you call customer service??? As being one of the older staff there you would think that she be giving a good example!! Well you can see why the place was in such chaos. 6. Not all bad - there was one older guy who did not stop for a second. He was amazing and you could see he was really trying his best. I even said to him when I was leaving 'it seems to only be you working here' I hate leaving bad comments and could almost understand if it was a teenager serving us as we've teenagers ourselves, but it was the more senior of staff (although still quite young). I'd recommend for her to enrol on a Customer Care Course, or perhaps find another line of work because working within hospitality is quite clearly not for her and she's letting the business down!! Mark if your still the owner of this business I'm sure this is not the standard you would like

Terrible food and even worse service. Asked for toast which was not toasted. Politely asked for the bread to be toasted again and the waitress dropped it on the table and said ‘that will have to do’ and walked away before we could respond. Still not toasted to any degree. How difficult is toast? Wouldn’t normally have bothered but it was £2.50 for one slice. Incredibly rude waitress, ignored us and made me feel just awful for asking for help. Jacket potato burnt but the manager did give us a refund. Really disappointed. It looked like a lovely cafe in such a quaint little spot.

Despite being there a full hour before closing, I was turned away as apparently they'd had a busy day. Not a business model set to succeed, and I wont be using them again.

Lots of choices and as far as we could tell, all freshly prepared. Plenty of space to move around and a good selection of ice creams. But it is really nothing more than a 'posh cafe' catering for the Outlet shoppers, happy to pay good money for average food.

Visited today with my wife. As always, spotlessly clean. Love the place and the quality of produce but really disappointed today. Totally ignored by the counter staff - blanked is probably a better description. Three people came in behind me and were served before me. I eventually left and went over to Costa.

I visited today whilst out shopping with my mum. I was shocked by the service or should I say lack of service we received. Whilst the girl was chatting away to her colleague whilst making the 2 Latte's one overspilled. She was laughing to her colleague it was a soufle. She scooped the foam off all down the cup. She put the cup on the tray with foam all down the side. She then used her finger to wipe around the rip. I was horrified especially as Covid is still around and the poor hygiene she displayed. When I pointed outshe'd used her finger, she huffed and threw it in the sink making me another. On sitting down to drink my Latte it was lukewarm. When the toasties of ham cheese and tomato arrived, there was no tomatoe in the sandwiche. I was also told to get my own cutlery which were all in one pot for everyone to handle. I felt it was pointless sending it back as the service displayed was already awful. I would not recommend you waste your money eating or drinking here.

Iced coffee horrible service poor more interested in talking to each other than serving all day breakfast ok but only just warm tray drinks served on was dirty when food served plates put on table and cutlery almost thrown on table staff need better training some staff need lessons on how to dress as trousers half way down showing underwear would never use again

We visited this afternoon and stopped here for a drink and lunch. We each had salad and all agreed that it was the best we had ever had, to the point that we’re still talking about it on the way home! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the cafe had a lovely atmosphere and we really enjoyed our visit. Thank you!

Fancied a drink and ice cream, no tables left we Decided on a take away. Lots of lovely ice cream on display. Everyone enjoyed their ice cream, coffee and the coffee cake was superb (better than the other cakes we bought very close by) staff were friendly. We would visit again.

Well located next to the children’s playground they do really good ice cream sundaes for children at £2.45. Let them choose a flavour of ice cream, sauce and a topping..... great for adults too!

I just wanted a coffee but ended up staying for another and having some food as well. The coffee as you may guess is very good. The place has a classic range of sandwiches baguettes and panini. Also a good range of cakes and sweet bites. And as it's a Sidoli's some of the best ice cream around. Worth a visit anytime.

Just eaten simply the best bacon baguette ever. The coffee is equally excellent as is the atmosphere. Staff very friendly.

Visited whilst partner was "shopping" bought a flat white, for the similar cost as other coffee vendors, comfortable seating, nice views of the 'Christmas Grotto' and our groups children playing, spent a lovely half hour in comfort out of the cold drinking coffee. nice friendly staff, nice surroundings.

We ordered two warm chicken tikka baguettes, a decaf and earl grey tea for the princely sum of £15.80!The teas were both cold as was the baguettes when they finally arrived after twenty minutes, it then took a further fifteen minutes to warm the baguettes??Bear in mind there was only about twenty customers in!Such a shame as this place used to be excellent with fantastic customer service. Like the title suggests we won’t be back

Visited this morning for breakfast. Firstly my husband's coffee was cold, with not a very pleasant taste. I ordered a slice of toast, which seemed to made with stale tesco value bread, I haven't got an issue with value bread but would expect more from a cafe especially when I'm paying more than the loaf, at £1.70 a slice! Just to add to the experience all the cutlery was dirty. Very disappointing, i will not be returning

Stopped here for a drink as it’s conveniently located next to the play area. Flat white was very good, but some of the soft drinks seem very expensive - e.g. £2.35 for a can of peach tea & well over £1 for a glass of milk.

We often eat here, but we’re disappointed recently. We visited at lunchtime on a Sunday and the bread was stale. I appreciate they probably don’t have fresh bread delivered on a Sunday. However, buy extra on a Saturday and freeze it, rather than serve stale bread. The sandwich filling was lovely, but the bread was awful.

Sat here as captive audience whilst children play. Great value. We had children’s sundae - 1 scoop, 1 topping of choice + sauce of choice served in a lovely glass dish. Felt very fancy for £2.75 a piece. Afogato, tea and cone ice cream all very good. Great job. Friendly staff. Choice of cake looked great too. Including vegan and GF options.

It can be quite pricey here but the ice cream and the chocolate brownies are to die for!! The staff here are very friendly and offer great customer service :-)

Popped in here after a bit of shopping for a drink and a piece of cake. The drinks were fine, but the vegan chocolate cake was really delicious and as it was on offer at £1 per portion, both my hubby and I would recommend this deal as worth every penny!

If I could give it 0 I would. Having purposely avoided the place since my last visit a year ago I'm gutted that I've just wasted over £20 again!! #morefoolme! From the dirty tables to the expensive food to the hair on the ice cream it was crap for start to finish. Over £20 for a kids sandwich, well half a sandwich!! A rock solid stale baguette and a substantial "gammon" sandwich. Funnily enough the "gammon" was exactly the same product that was in the kids sandwich!!! There's nothing wrong with ham! But if your advertising gammon then don't serve ham!! We ordered. Gammon a mustard sandwich, it was served as a ham sandwich, too it back only for it to brought back with us being told that that's the only ham they use and had 2 plastic potions of mustard on the side for us to open and spread ourselves?!?!?! Honestly!!!! What a dismal place!! Their so lucky to have the park and that's clearly why people go there! But I'd rather stand and watch kids in the park and spend my money in mc. Donald's!!!! £20 for a sandwich, a roll and a kids HALF sandwich with 2 cans of pop is disgusting. I hope people stop spending money and you go out of business!

We usually visit Sidoli’s when visiting MacArthur Glen because we find the food to is good. However, we were very disappointed today. We ordered sandwiches and cakes at lunchtime. The bread and one of the cakes were stale and dry. We wondered if this was because it’s Sunday and there is no fresh bread delivered. There is no excuse for serving up out of date cakes though.

Been here before while shopping, called yesterday afternoon for Coffee & Cake with my Wife. Not as busy as a weekend, great ! What was disappointing was the cleanliness of the. Premises. Took time to find “ clean “ cutlery. This is not acceptable.

We have many times used this cafe as a convenient stop as we shop around the designer outlet, but we have become a little concerned that quality has been poorer lately. I have had to stand longer in the queue for service; the cutlery is not always properly clean and the food is a little less appetising.

Visited this afternoon with my family. Ideal as next to the Dino Park for the kids to run around. My daughter accidentally kicked the table spilling my very full hot chocolate everywhere. Luckily only hit her shoes. Dan one of the workers came straight away and cleaned it up with a smile, having a chat with us. Not once making us feel like a nuisance. He even made me a replacement hot chocolate which was very appreciated and delicious. Thank you.

Can't comment on the food as had none but had a coconut and a salted caramel cappuccino and both were incredible. Even after having these two, I had an affagato to finish, which was sublime.

I came in to buy a cake. I asked if the one I wanted had nuts in it, the server said no and sold it to me. I was about to eat it when my wife spotted that the entire base looked like nuts.

By far the best coffee place. Better and cheaper than the bigger coffee shops. Right next to kids play area with seating outside so parents can sit in comfort watching their children play.

Extremely disappointed with my visit at Sidoli Mcarthur Glen, Bridgend. Ordered £10 worth of ice cream and been served ice cream scoops literally the size of a ping pong balls. Absolute rip off, I will NEVER spend a single penny at Sidoli's again!
