My partner and I visited for a valentines meal, the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, bothe servers were very polite and friendly and the atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. Would highly recommend
I booked an area for 14, for Sunday lunch via Facebook messenger. There was plenty of on street parking and a friendly welcome.
All the preordered meals were served correct, warm, with a selection of vegetables. Every single person raved about their choice and I got to take our leftover beef (very generous portions) for my greyhound Lily..... her eyes are the best review anyone could have!
We are all family based in Monmouth, Cardiff, Blackwood & Abertillery and the location was great for us all.
Overpriced place in an unimpressive setting. This place is mainly for people who have never been to a Hotpot restaurant before and are just impressed by the gimmicky concept or people who don't mind spending. The reality is that the restaurant itself is quite bare and it's showing some annoying K-pop that just doesn't go with the concept of the restaurant or the decor. You order yourself from the app. The ingredients that you cook yourself are massively overpriced as well as the drinks (£5.45 for some broccoli, £4.95 for a bit of pak choi and £6.95 for a can of low alcohol beer). Considering that you order yourself and cook food yourself, prices should be more affordable. That is one of the main points of a hotpot restaurant. Also, we are in Cardiff, not central London. I would not recommend it to anyone.
This used to be one of the best chippys around but since its had new owners the quality has nose dived!
The fish is not as good, greasy and dry inside.
The chips are soggy and greasy.
Very disappointed.
Just incredible food, all done by the students. Met the chefs who asked for feedback. Service is outstanding, should be open 7 days a week! Vegetarian options were limited in a set menu but chose something new and it was fantastic.
Family party, food very small portions, waited 2 hours for food and when it came was not complete such as had to wait for chips etc. For the price you would expect more for your money. We arrived on time.
The Food was awesome and authentic.
We ordered Samosa, papdi chat, kheema pav chicken tikka and biryani..
It was so good….
Got totally stuffed but still would not wanna stop eating…
Highly recommend
We were served by Amol.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food is fantastic, and the service is second to none. The owner brings genuine warmth and kindness to everyone who walks through the door. The Buddha Bowl is delicious, and I’m yet to try everything on the menu – but if the turmeric tea is anything to go by, I know I won’t be disappointed!
fabuloso tailandés! Grandes opciones vegetales. La sopa Tom kha de hongos es deliciosa y tenía curry vegetariano / tofu massaman y tofu Pad Med Mamuang salteado. Porciones de sobra. Una degustación muy auténtica sin duda volvería.
No matter how many gentrified cafes that open close by, this place stays a genuine and strong locals favorite. Queues most lunchtimes show how good it is. Work vans and students a plenty. The sort of place a “tik-tok” food reviewer would lose their mind over. Had the hot roast baguette on Tiger bread roll. Sourdough and normal baguette also available.
