LOVE this place!! Wonderful service and my Beyond Meat burger was STACKED!!!! Soooooo good!!!!! Highly recommend!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Popped in for Sunday dinner after work, and after a bite of the gravy/potatoes I wholeheartedly told the wonderful lady serving us that it was the happiest I’d been in a long time! Incredibly welcoming, very clean and the tastiest Sunday dinner I’ve had in a very long time! Can’t wait to come back, have been recommending it to all my friends!

Don't know where to start. Service was wonderful, food was absolutely delicious and prices reasonable.

Well, I really don't know where to start. Luna's is one of my favourite restaurant and I love going there for a quick bite. But tonight was another experience I have to say. Everything was perfect ... The food, the presentation, the ambiance, everything was amazing. It was probably the best meal I had for years. So thank you for that wonderful experience :) Once again an amazing lunch with the family and the dogs. Went again for valentine's evening. The food was once again amazing and the staff was perfect.

AMAZING food. I've been vegan for over half a decade and this is some of the nicest vegan food I've ever had, and for only about a tenner for a main! I don't normally get starters but I was here for a family member's birthday and decided to get the soup of the day, it was broccoli & spinach and it tasted divine, served with really nice bread & a really good vegan butter! I had Jackfruit & Chickpea Rogan Josh for the main, I've never had a Rogan Josh before so I can't compare it to anything else but it's one of my favourite meals I've ever had. And the birthday cake was really good!! It was chocolate orange flavour and was nice and light. The service was really good (and helped us with knowing how to eat food we hadn't tried before 😅) but did a great job at not being overheating at all. They also had Cola (both regular and sugar free) which was sourced from an ethical company and was BDS friendly. Wish I lived closer but next time I'm in Cardiff I'll definitely be visiting again!!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience from start to finish. An enchanting little restaurant. Warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Fresh and pretty decor. Lots of attention to detail. The service was fantastic. Great selection of food and the meal was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely meal and making my partners birthday extra special. We will make sure we book again when next in Cardiff

This is such a lovely cafe that opens in the evenings. I’m not vegan, but I love the food and it’s very reasonably priced. The lady who served us was lovely and made the most amazing coffee froth art!

Tenía mucha curiosidad por ver un lugar con setenta y siete reseñas de 5 *, y literalmente nada por debajo de eso ... así que cuando estaba en un apuro por dónde ir para una cena de cumpleaños / Navidad, elegí aquí. Y vaya. ¡Ahora veo por qué! Primero - que lugar tan encantador para comer. Luces de hadas, una recepción tan cálida, y honestamente, nunca he visto a nadie tan organizado en mi vida! Tan pronto como reservamos nuestro lugar, Kavita me envió un mensaje para establecer una charla grupal, y teníamos menús, asientos, etc. Todo estaba organizado antes de que llegáramos allí, de modo que todo era una brisa, justo a través de pagar al final. ¡Entonces, la gente! Sería difícil encontrar un grupo más cálido y hermoso de personas en cualquier lugar. Literalmente me hornearon un pastel para mi cumpleaños y me lo trajeron... de ellos. ¡A pesar de que no estábamos planeando un pastel ni nada! (¡Oh, mi palabra fue divina... y ni siquiera me gusta el pastel!) ¡Y luego, la comida! ¡La COMIDA! Santo cielo. Y creo que cada una de las 19 personas allí ese día se divirtió mucho y lo que ordenaron. Yup - Ahora soy un súper fan. Y toda mi familia también. Y siento que Kavita se está convirtiendo en una nueva y querida amiga.

I was really curious to see a place with seventy seven 5* reviews, and literally nothing below that … so when I was in a pinch for where to go for a Birthday/Christmas dinner, I chose here. And wow. Now I see why!!! First - what a delightful place to eat. Fairy lights, such a warm reception, and honestly, I’ve never seen ANYone so organised in my life! As soon as we reserved our place, Kavita messaged me to set up a group chat, and we had menus, seating, etc. All was organised before we got there, so that the whole thing was a breeze, right through paying at the end. Then, the people!! You’d be hard pressed to find a warmer, more gorgeous set of people anywhere. They literally baked me a cake for my birthday and brought it in … from them to me! Even though we weren’t planning on a cake or anything!! (And oh my word was it divine … and I don’t even normally really like cake!!) And then, the food! The FOOD!!! Holy cow. OK - so we had starters, mains and desert, plus the cake … and every single thing was mind-blowingly good!! So much so that we have been again already, and plan to go back again absolutely any time we get a chance in the future!!! And we already had a place we loved to go with amazing food. But wow. This really did take the cake. I would unreservedly recommend the beetroot tart, pasta with wild mushroom sauce, and the brownie for desert. Might I add- I am a brownie SNOB. In fact, I’ve had a really unhealthy number of brownies in my life, and honestly, the only ones I’ve ever truly loved are ones I’ve made for myself. But this brownie was that, PLUS! How they improved on my brownie perfection I have no idea!! And the mushroom pasta - even folks who have never been able to give up dairy would love it. And that’s a tall ask for non-vegans when it comes to cheesy-things (you’ll know what I mean. It’s always the cheese). They also had a jackfruit and chickpea dish (stroganoff?? Can’t remember) - and I’m not a fan of chickpeas … but Kavita recommended it to me … and it’s the first time ever that I’ve actually ENJOYED chickpeas!! It was DELICIOUS! But honestly - many dishes to choose from - from in-house burgers to a Buddha bowl, soups, etc. Not only do they have a solid regular menu, but for holidays they also have a holiday menu on top. And I think every one of the 19 people there that day thoroughly enjoyed themselves and what they ordered. Yup - I’m a super-fan now. And so is my whole family. And I feel like Kavita is becoming a new and beloved friend.

Fantastic food and service every time. Great for those with gluten and dairy allergies/intolerances. The buddha salad and turmeric latte are 10/10.

We ordered a 1st birthday cake for our daughter's party, she has both a soya and dairy allergy. The staff at Luna's were so friendly and accommodating. Making an absolutely fantastic cake, taking the time to decorate it well. We are very happy and will be using Luna's again for our next birthday cake.

Had a marvelous birthday afternoon tea for 22 people. Lovely food including gluten free.

Vine aquí con mi madre mientras ella me visitaba en Cardiff y ambos estábamos tan impresionados con la comida, el servicio y el ambiente del restaurante. El menú tenía una elección brillante y ofrece opciones sin gluten para prácticamente todos los platos. Pedimos el Ocean Tofu y patatas fritas con guisantes y salsa tártara y estaba absolutamente delicioso. ¡Queremos volver ya! Lo recomendaría a todo el mundo, incluso si no eres vegano.

One of the best vegan restaurants in the area Amazing food, lovely range of items on the menu and you can tell it’s well thought out. The actual restaurant and atmosphere is lovely and had a nice ambience. Service was good and staff were lovely. Dog friendly too which is great, they gave our Dog carrots and water. Food is delicious, fresh and homely. It was my birthday - they brought out a birthday cake and played happy birthday without asking which was nice. 🙂

The food here is very nice (though I wish there were more low-carb options), the service and the whole staff are a pleasure, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. My partner ate the pasta with mushroom sauce and garlic bread, and because I need to limit my carbs, I ate the steamed broccoli (done just right and the garlic oil was perfect) and the salad and added some grilled tofu (very nicely done). I also had some excellent lemon ginger tea. I do wish they’d be located closer to the center of the city.

The food was very good. The mushroom pasta was good and plentiful. The garlic bread was crispy and delicious, as were the sweet potato fries. Price is reasonable. The lady at reception was very friendly and even let us in a few minutes before opening. The shop is decorated in a friendly manner.

On this occasion: Nice and quiet. Tasty breakfast. Fake bacon is good 😋 Good value.

Great food and a decent range of options, all vegan. It’s a pleasant restaurant but the atmosphere felt a little sterile. The server was a little pushy, trying to tell us what we wanted to order! I’d go back for the food though.

We had a lovely family lunch here, only one of our group of 5 is vegan and everyone LOVED all the food we ordered. Service was excellent, so kind and friendly. Everything is fresh and home made, portion sizes are very generous and the price point is very good value. Also, the coffee is delicious! Utterly incredible, particularly for special occasions! I've no idea how they knew it was her birthday, but they prepared a suprise for my partner that was so wonderful she hasn't stopped talking about it since. The Sunday vegan roast dinner was lovely and tasty, roasted potatoes parsnips cauliflower broccoli Yorkshire pudding gray. All cooked to perfection. For starters mushroom pate served with toast and side dishes. This was my first time visiting her but would definitely recommend others to try the food.Staff were friendly and helpful and an excellent fathers day treat from my daughter.

Vine al restaurante de Luna el lunes de Pascua. Habíamos viajado a Cardiff para las celebraciones del 70 cumpleaños de mi papá y teníamos todo un día planeado. Necesitábamos un restaurante vegano puro para satisfacer las necesidades de uno de los miembros de la fiesta y necesitábamos un lugar que atendiera a una dieta ayurvédica especial. Le había enviado un mensaje al restaurante la noche anterior que fue muy rápido en responder. Se ofrecieron a mantener el restaurante abierto más tarde de lo habitual para atendernos y se comunicaron conmigo cortésmente con empatía y comprensión por los requisitos dietéticos. Pudieron comprar los ingredientes adecuados y preparar un plato específicamente para el niño pequeño. Toda la comida servida era genial; bien presentado, sabroso, recién cocinado y servido caliente. Las bebidas eran fabulosas, batidos recién hechos, zumos y muy saludables. El personal era muy amable, paciente y servicial. El restaurante en sí estaba ordenado, limpio y a la temperatura adecuada. Y finalmente el precio era razonable. No puedo culpar a este restaurante. Realmente fueron más allá. Saber que sus alimentos están siendo cocinados con cuidado y amor hace mucha diferencia, además de ser capaz de satisfacer los requisitos dietéticos tan estrictos en tan poco tiempo. We were looking for somewhere to eat lunch that wasn’t too busy and this was the perfect option. It was very quiet, but pleasant. Service was quick and friendly. Everything in the restaurant was immaculate and clean. The food tasted amazing, and there were very large portion sizes. We will definitely be back!

Came here for a friends birthday, we were welcomed and felt at ease. The food was delicious and we were so full after it. Gorgeous! I hadn’t told the restaurant to sing happy birthday, but they went out of their way to provide a delicious vegan chocolate orange cake with “happy birthday” on it. (I will upload a pic - mind the knife mark on it. We cut into it before taking a pic!) Everyone was so helpful, although we could have got our drinks faster but I’m not going to make down for something so small. Thank you so much, we will be back in the near future!

so good!!! this is possibly already my favourite vegan place in the city, either way it's certainly fantastic and a not-so-hidden hidden gem. I really prefer Luna's to most other vegan places I've been to. lovely calm atmosphere and decor, nice light airy space, a quiet retreat from the busy loud neighbourhood. wonderful service from Kavita! she's very friendly, attentive and helpful. service timing-wise was great too. I got the elderflower press and buddha salad w half and half tofu and falafel on recommendation from her! I got a tiny chai 'latte' on the house too which was a delightful surprise and so kind - foamy aromatic and delicious, really good chai. the salad was visually beautiful, a very generous serving, amazing endless combinations of flavours and textures, filling but not at all heavy on the stomach. just delicious and for £13 a great price for a fantastic main. the soup of the day sounded really good and I was hungry after a long day so I had that as well - pea and asparagus - with toasted bread and butter. the soup was unexpectedly and wonderfully savoury and umami. delicious and really comforting. also got an unexpected taster glass of the gym bunny juice - so good, refreshing and tasty. a really nice way to end the meal. if you want a quiet dinner then go for a weeknight. i'm autistic and struggle with loud/busy spaces and went on a thursday night and it was lovely and quiet but certainly not empty. the music is at a good level as well in terms of sensory needs. will be back to try the rest of the menu, the other fresh juices, the lunchtime meal deals and the sunday roast [it apparently gets busy for that so if you want to, make a booking on the website!], and will have to bring friends! and the pear and almond tart, which sounded very appealing and was spoken of highly by another customer. really reasonable prices as well, I paid £25 for everything after a tip, you could definitely have a good meal for much less too, but for a really lovely dinner date for one it was still super affordable. thank you so much! I'll be back and look forward to it.

What a little gem of a place, dog friendly, delicious vegan food and serves alcohol. I am not a vegetarian so was a little apprehensive but their Buddha salad was amazing so many flavours including home made trio of hummus dips —-very healthy too 👏👏👏 my friend had homemade soup … we will be back 🥰

Great place. We went on the bank holiday Monday and they were doing their Sunday roast - which we really happy about, as we couldn’t get there on Sunday! A lovely meal, and the portions are good. You certainly won’t leave hungry. My one problem with this restaurant is that it’s 100 miles from where we live, and we really, really want to come back (several times) and sample the rest of the menu! 😁 Definitely recommend a visit.

A favourite vegan restaurant of mine! Food is always cooked fresh and is delicious. The staff are super friendly and attentive. My favourite dishes are the staple burger and the chickpea, jackfruit stroganoff, also the brownie for dessert. The breakfast is delicious too. Lots to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner at fantastic prices.

Food so good we went twice in one week!Food was fresh, tasty and well priced. Lovely staff who speak highly of the owner. Don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to enjoy their great food. Great menu there’s definitely something for everyone and it really shows that even my non vegan friends are always keen to go to lunas. Also very allergy friendly and accommodating. I had my birthday here with 15 guests - there were only 3 of us who were vegan but everyone raved about how hot and tasty the food was!! Service was amazing - so lovely and such great attention to detail. They made the most beautiful and delicious birthday cake if have ever had and made my birthday extra special!

Love this place. I came here everyday for lunch for a long time and laura and Nic were always incredibly welcoming, chatty and couldnt do enough for us as customers. The atmosphere is always chilled and the food has been consistently brilliant. Never had a bad meal or experience.

I first noticed the beautiful, welcoming decor inside the cafe. I was taken to Lunas cafe as a birthday gift-being a vegan it is so hard to find plant based, good quality, homecooked food at any restaurant or cafe in our area-and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this food was. Made and cooked fresh, as a vegan customer I truly felt seen. The staff also made a cake that was unplanned and free of charge as they knew it was my birthday, which was such a special, touching surprise! Would highly recommend 😊

Went there this evening for my partners Birthday. It was a wonderful calm atmosphere. The lady was very attentive and polite and kind. She was very helpful with suggestions. Just wonderful vegan food. Even a meat eater would have been happy here. Lots of choice for starters, main, drinks etc. They went above and beyond. Even bringing out a little cake with a candle and playing happy birthday on the radio. Great value for money. Very nice size portions. I can't wait to go back. We travelled over an hour to get there and it was so worth it. We will go back again.

The chefs created some genuinely brilliant flavours and nailed-on perfect textures. Some of the best food I've had in a VERY long time, mightily impressive. Service was also optimal, very forward thinking and considerate. The restaurant itself was a very pleasant setting and ideal for the occasion.

We had been looking forward to going to Luna's for a while, after hearing it's great reviews as a vegan restaurant. Unfortunately the experience wasn't what we'd hoped. I would give 1 star except for how polite the staff were. The first time I tried to eat at Luna's we were told they had no sandwiches, though the lunchtime menu in the window said sandwiches. So we made the effort of going back. This time, the restaurant was empty when we went inside, but we were told they don't really do sandwiches on Saturdays. Even though the lunch menu on the door didn't specify days. They seemed to feel guilty though so spoke to chef, and did make us sandwiches. What disappointing sandwiches they were! Simple, plain sliced bread, with seitan that had no flavour, and a few small pieces of salad. I would rather pay more than £3 and have had a delicious, stuffed full sandwich on tasty bread, with crisps and salad on the side. Like you might expect from a cafe. The sandwiches we left didn't even fill us up. The friendly lady also gave us water for the table - but gave us each a glass half full of hot water. Whilst my hands were grateful for the heat to hold, I don't like drinking hot water (I think that's fairly usual?) so then felt stuck with this random half glass of hot water to dispose of before I could drink the cold water in the provided bottle. Overall it was quite a weird experience. From feeling unwelcome as soon as we came in for only wanting a light lunch, to the empty place meaning that the two workers were simply standing there watching us eat, I was very disappointed with the meal. I am sorry to say I have no desire to go back.

Food is amazing. But no matter what you say, your starter and mains come at the same time. There's always someone sitting eating a starter and the mains are already on the table. The food is amazing though.

What a wonderful lunch experience. Lovely food - espcially liked the Rogan Josh and the pasta in a vegan cream sauce. The puddings were also incredible... Perfect lunch!

We decided to come here with visiting family as one of them is vegan. We were all incredibly impressed with the quality of the food and the portions. They also had some great gluten-free options. We came as a group of six adults and four children (including a newborn) and the staff were wonderful with the children. They didn't have a kids menu but offered half portions on some dishes or the children could choose a mixture of sides. I ordered the crispy onion burger (gluten-free option) and it was exceptional. The chips were also out-of-this-world good!. I will definitely come back.

Very nice vegan place in the heart of Roath. Super friendly and attentive staff. We tried the vegan Sunday roast and it was good. Prices are good compared to other restaurants in the area. I definitely want to go and try other dishes!

We had an amazing evening at Luna’s Vegan Corner. The food was delicious and the service great. Highly recommended!

Great lunch spot for a sandwich with delicious chips. They had ran out of a few options with it being a Sunday, however, what we did have was very tasty and I'm glad they use up what they have rather than produce food waste. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Really good prices for the food, not expensive for what we got. Update: have been back a few times since my first visit and never been disappointed. Had the Lunas staple veggie burger and chips last time - delicious!

I had my birthday party of 26 people at Luna's last Saturday on the 2.9.23 and as always Luna's did not disappoint. We preordered and l asked if Luna's could serve the meals 15 min after our arrival. The food came out as requested and everyone was eating together without waiting around. As for the food, it was delicious and everyone commented how tasty it was. I think you converted some people to try more vegetarian or vegan food ❤️ To top it Luna's brought out a huge delicious birthday cake on the house with my name on it. Thank you Luna's for making my birthday party so special, you are the best ❤️😁 Gerda

Lovely people delicious food although the restaurant looks very basic , looks aren't everything.

I cannot stress this enough: the food here is mind - blowing. I had the buddah salad and each ingredient and component was absolute perfection. A salad has no business being that delicious. I think you can judge the quality of chef by their tofu and this was the best I've ever had, period. The olives, the hummus... Just remarkably good. A brilliant, brilliant meal.

Visited Luna's vegan corner for lunch. The coffee was really great, the perfect temperature and not too bitter. I ordered an avocado, sundried tomato and spinach sandwich which was extremely tasty. We ordered some sweet potato fries to go on the side and they were cooked to perfection. The prices were extremely reasonable and the service was very friendly and welcoming. The perfect place for a vegan lunch in Cardiff!

Fabulous Sunday roast followed by the best brownie, ever. Gooey warm chocolate oozing deliciousness with ice cream. Worth a visit for the brownie alone.

First time here, and had such a lovely time! The restaurant has a really cosy atmosphere with a great choice of music playing. Very high cleanliness levels, and the food was so delicious! I had the Gym Bunny Fresh Juice, Arancini, Luna’s Staple Burger and the Pear and Almond Tart, and really enjoyed all. I found the Pear and Almond Tart especially flavourful. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive! Overall, had an excellent dinner experience, and will definitely be returning soon 😊 5 stars from me!
