Love this place. I came here everyday for lunch for a long time and laura and Nic were always incredibly welcoming, chatty and couldnt do enough for us as customers. The atmosphere is always chilled and the food has been consistently brilliant. Never had a bad meal or experience.

A favourite vegan restaurant of mine! Food is always cooked fresh and is delicious. The staff are super friendly and attentive. My favourite dishes are the staple burger and the chickpea, jackfruit stroganoff, also the brownie for dessert. The breakfast is delicious too. Lots to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner at fantastic prices.

I first noticed the beautiful, welcoming decor inside the cafe. I was taken to Lunas cafe as a birthday gift-being a vegan it is so hard to find plant based, good quality, homecooked food at any restaurant or cafe in our area-and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this food was. Made and cooked fresh, as a vegan customer I truly felt seen. The staff also made a cake that was unplanned and free of charge as they knew it was my birthday, which was such a special, touching surprise! Would highly recommend 😊

Went there this evening for my partners Birthday. It was a wonderful calm atmosphere. The lady was very attentive and polite and kind. She was very helpful with suggestions. Just wonderful vegan food. Even a meat eater would have been happy here. Lots of choice for starters, main, drinks etc. They went above and beyond. Even bringing out a little cake with a candle and playing happy birthday on the radio. Great value for money. Very nice size portions. I can't wait to go back. We travelled over an hour to get there and it was so worth it. We will go back again.

The chefs created some genuinely brilliant flavours and nailed-on perfect textures. Some of the best food I've had in a VERY long time, mightily impressive. Service was also optimal, very forward thinking and considerate. The restaurant itself was a very pleasant setting and ideal for the occasion.

Absolutely delicious Vegan Sunday roast, everything was so tasty, and the best Mocha I've ever had, bar none, well worth a visit, vegan or not!

The CUTEST and COSIEST place I’ve been too! I went on my 23rd birthday and got the afternoon tea! It was so tasty, had a good variety and the service was so good, very kind! The atmosphere was very pleasant too. <3

We had been looking forward to going to Luna's for a while, after hearing it's great reviews as a vegan restaurant. Unfortunately the experience wasn't what we'd hoped. I would give 1 star except for how polite the staff were. The first time I tried to eat at Luna's we were told they had no sandwiches, though the lunchtime menu in the window said sandwiches. So we made the effort of going back. This time, the restaurant was empty when we went inside, but we were told they don't really do sandwiches on Saturdays. Even though the lunch menu on the door didn't specify days. They seemed to feel guilty though so spoke to chef, and did make us sandwiches. What disappointing sandwiches they were! Simple, plain sliced bread, with seitan that had no flavour, and a few small pieces of salad. I would rather pay more than £3 and have had a delicious, stuffed full sandwich on tasty bread, with crisps and salad on the side. Like you might expect from a cafe. The sandwiches we left didn't even fill us up. The friendly lady also gave us water for the table - but gave us each a glass half full of hot water. Whilst my hands were grateful for the heat to hold, I don't like drinking hot water (I think that's fairly usual?) so then felt stuck with this random half glass of hot water to dispose of before I could drink the cold water in the provided bottle. Overall it was quite a weird experience. From feeling unwelcome as soon as we came in for only wanting a light lunch, to the empty place meaning that the two workers were simply standing there watching us eat, I was very disappointed with the meal. I am sorry to say I have no desire to go back.

Food is amazing. But no matter what you say, your starter and mains come at the same time. There's always someone sitting eating a starter and the mains are already on the table. The food is amazing though.

What a wonderful lunch experience. Lovely food - espcially liked the Rogan Josh and the pasta in a vegan cream sauce. The puddings were also incredible... Perfect lunch!

We decided to come here with visiting family as one of them is vegan. We were all incredibly impressed with the quality of the food and the portions. They also had some great gluten-free options. We came as a group of six adults and four children (including a newborn) and the staff were wonderful with the children. They didn't have a kids menu but offered half portions on some dishes or the children could choose a mixture of sides. I ordered the crispy onion burger (gluten-free option) and it was exceptional. The chips were also out-of-this-world good!. I will definitely come back.

Very nice vegan place in the heart of Roath. Super friendly and attentive staff. We tried the vegan Sunday roast and it was good. Prices are good compared to other restaurants in the area. I definitely want to go and try other dishes!

Great lunch spot for a sandwich with delicious chips. They had ran out of a few options with it being a Sunday, however, what we did have was very tasty and I'm glad they use up what they have rather than produce food waste. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Really good prices for the food, not expensive for what we got. Update: have been back a few times since my first visit and never been disappointed. Had the Lunas staple veggie burger and chips last time - delicious!

I had my birthday party of 26 people at Luna's last Saturday on the 2.9.23 and as always Luna's did not disappoint. We preordered and l asked if Luna's could serve the meals 15 min after our arrival. The food came out as requested and everyone was eating together without waiting around. As for the food, it was delicious and everyone commented how tasty it was. I think you converted some people to try more vegetarian or vegan food ❤️ To top it Luna's brought out a huge delicious birthday cake on the house with my name on it. Lovely people delicious food although the restaurant looks very basic , looks aren't everything.

I cannot stress this enough: the food here is mind - blowing. I had the buddah salad and each ingredient and component was absolute perfection. A salad has no business being that delicious. I think you can judge the quality of chef by their tofu and this was the best I've ever had, period. The olives, the hummus... Just remarkably good. A brilliant, brilliant meal.

Visited Luna's vegan corner for lunch. The coffee was really great, the perfect temperature and not too bitter. I ordered an avocado, sundried tomato and spinach sandwich which was extremely tasty. We ordered some sweet potato fries to go on the side and they were cooked to perfection. The prices were extremely reasonable and the service was very friendly and welcoming. The perfect place for a vegan lunch in Cardiff!

Fabulous Sunday roast followed by the best brownie, ever. Gooey warm chocolate oozing deliciousness with ice cream. Worth a visit for the brownie alone.

Amazing experience! I visited for the first time and it really enjoyable. It was very welcoming, cosy, and warm. Delightful food across the board - from fresh juices, starters, mains, light bites, and delicious desserts - there’s plenty to choose from. I tried the Spicy Carrot OJ, Arancini, Ocean Tofu and Chips, Mushy Peas, and Tartare Sauce, Pear and Almond Tart - I enjoyed them all and there was a complex flavour profile. The dessert was very moreish! High levels of cleanliness and wonderful food. There was a friendly atmosphere and well decorated with beautiful twinkling lights. Great attentive service. I’d definitely recommend. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - will be back very soon! 😊

First time here, and had such a lovely time! The restaurant has a really cosy atmosphere with a great choice of music playing. Very high cleanliness levels, and the food was so delicious! I had the Gym Bunny Fresh Juice, Arancini, Luna’s Staple Burger and the Pear and Almond Tart, and really enjoyed all. I found the Pear and Almond Tart especially flavourful. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive! Overall, had an excellent dinner experience, and will definitely be returning soon 😊 5 stars from me!

Cannot commend Luna’s highly enough. What an absolutely fabulous place to spend the afternoon. The food was superb, great choice and taste, all exceeded 10/10. Lovely vibe, atmosphere friendly and relaxed. And then to top it all off, our perfect host greeted my mum with a homemade vegan birthday cake ❤️. Not mentioned at booking, she just picked up the occasion in a casual conversation when taking our order. The most kind and attentive service I have ever experienced. Thank you so much! We have eaten here for a few years now, though infrequently as we don't live in Cardiff. It is excellent. I write now to highlight the service. On our last visit the staff had to contend with a lady who presented a huge challenge, and for well over 20 minutes the staff patiently listened and suggested and supported the customer, who seemed determined to prove she was unable to eat anything. It was a truly exceptional customer service performance. And of course the food as ever was tasty, fresh and well presented. You can happily take non-vegans here , they will be as pleased as anyone can be.

My favourite vegan restaurant in Cardiff! The food here is really lovely. Nothing overly fussy, but generous portions, always fresh and very tasty. The owners are lovely and service is always attentive. I feel like it's still not that well known in Cardiff, which is a shame, because its a real gem of a place. Their vegan Sunday roast is also amazing!

I was out walking my dog and was walking by as it was opening. The staff were really nice, even getting a carrot and bowl of water for my dog. Had a delicious starter- mushroom pate and main was burger and chips. Everything was delicious and definitely would eat here again when in the area.

Went there in the evening this week it was so quiet and waitress was constantly on her phone. It wasn’t even busy. Her attitude seemed like she didn’t want to serve us. Plus she never asked if we wanted a drinks throughout the night or dessert which was a shame as I love their tarts, missed out on extra money. Service was very poor gone down hill a lot. Seems like they don’t care anymore. Food was good as always thought which was a plus

First time ordering from LUNAS VEGAN CORNER. Friendly welcome into one of the most cleanest places ive been in Cardiff and was highly excited to try BUDDHA SALAD which i ordered to go. Best onion rings ever! I love this place and there is always a warm welcome, whether it's a tale away or a meal inside.

Phenomenal. We've been going here since they opened years ago, been dozens of times and never been disappointed. We've been many times for brunch (iced coffee with sandwiches and cake - amazing), dinner (not just burgers - though the burgers are banging too), and special occasions. In fact I think we end up here for every birthday in our friends group/family! The staff are so kind and accomodating. One of the best, most dependable spots in Cardiff if you're vegan or vegan-curious.

I've been here several times and it's probably my favourite vegan restaurant. The food is incredible and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I've had both the afternoon tea and the ocean tofu and chips twice, as well as a couple of the burgers, the Christmas dinner and probably more! The lemony green cooler (sorry if I've written it incorrectly!) is also delicious. I really would recommend Luna's to anyone ❤️ The only complaint is that it can be a bit chilly in the winter, but it's worth it for the food!

Want delicious tasty and wholesome food? Luna's is another super vegan place to visit 😊 a goregously decorated and inviting cafe, with fantastic food and drink on offer. I had a turmeric latte and the mega brunch, a very fulfilling meal, throughly enjoyed. The only reason not to give 5* is because the service today was poor unfortunately. Long wait to be served for drinks, and even longer wait for food. Would absolutely visit again, highly recommend ✅ and a word on portion sizes: SUPER!

Friendly staff, great menu, attractive decor and most important of all, delicious food! The portions were generous, the burger was very tasty and the chips were top notch. Even the garlic mayo was lovely. For an impromptu meal on a dark and cold Tuesday evening, it was a brilliant choice.

We were in Cardiff visiting the Vegan festival. We went to Luna's the night before after reading solid reviews about the food. The location is easy to get to with numerous buses going to the area from the city centre where we were staying. The service and interior was excellent. The waitress was very attentive, considerate and helpful. The interior was lovely, it looked new and felt I was eating at home. I enjoyed the meal we had very much but especially enjoyed the Pasta with wild Mushrooms which tasted delicious with a lovely white sauce. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

So disappointed. Absolute rip off. Had the onion burger and frozen chips. Such a simple meal, you would think they would at least make fresh chips. Even a vegan slaw on the side would have livened it up a bit but instead what we had was similar to what you’d get in a Wetherspoons. Quite annoyed that they charged £13 for this because that is SO far from the mark. I’d expect the only vegan restaurant on wellfield road would do better than this.

Well, I really don't know where to start. Luna's is one of my favourite restaurant and I love going there for a quick bite. But tonight was another experience I have to say. Everything was perfect ... The food, the presentation, the ambiance, everything was amazing. It was probably the best meal I had for years. So thank you for that wonderful experience :) Once again an amazing lunch with the family and the dogs.

The buddha bowl is HUGE and full of fun! It has three different hummuses which were all incredible along with the falafel. I think it just needed a little more salt. My friends had mushroom pasta and burgers and they all loved them. Arincini for starts was also great. The waitress working on the evening of the july 6th was lovely, super helpful, speedy service, and made sure we were having a great time. Unfortunately we dont live in wales otherwise we'd be coming back every day! Lovely friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

Went there yesterday, I never expected to be shocked by how tasty the food was going to be! It just seemed like another restaurant. We ordered two dishes, the Buddha plate and a toast with avocado. We had two drinks, apple & mint cooler and a latte with date syrup. From the first bite the food and drinks were a delight. We were full the entire day from the food, which was meat-free! We'll come again, thank you =)

Visiting Cardiff and needed to book in for a family of 8 plus 2 dogs. Luna's was fabulous. A great variety to the menu, including a Sunday roast. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the dogs were made very welcome too

It's not all day opening, check the time before you go. I'm vegetarian and don't take garlic and onion but most of the food with it, so if you're picky eater like me better a day ordering of food 😀
