Excellent lunch with friends on 2occasions. The food was outstanding,presentation excellent. Students interpersonal skills were exemplary,they wanted to give us a good experience. Well done tutors too!

Absolutely first class, Four of us went there today, we were very impressed by the way the restaurant was presented. The food was excellent, could not fault it ,also it was very nice talking to the students who were responsible for cooking and serving such quality food. They were all so pleasant.

Managed to book a lunch for the last meal of this term with friends. This menu was devised by three of the students. Everything from start to finish was very tasty and as always beautifully presented. Can't wait for them to start serving again for the next student term.

We had a superb lunch today. The students and staff were very attentive and the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The rump of lamb just melted. Can certainly recommend and we have booked again already. Lovely that the chefs came out to speak to us as well.

Lovely meal as always the food beautifuly presented. Slight negative was that the service was a bit slow compared to other diners. Tried to take our hot drink orders before we had been served our dessert but was sorted promptly. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.

This college is amazing, Watching these students change and grow with confidence every time we visit it’s so nice . The menus change every two weeks and they are presented and cooked to perfection. Please try and visit and have a meal .

Food excellent, service first class from all we spoke to Jordan and Sarah who explained it was a team effort and I think that was demonstrated in the way everyone worked together thank you all for a great lunch. We will be back.

Excellent value and a unique experience. We had all 3 courses which came to under £20 a head. Food was interesting and experimental and mostly delicious. The bread was a highlight. The service could have been a little better but these guys are learning and we will definitely return.

The food was beautiful, the finer details are amazing. Fantastic value for money. Could just maybe do with a slightly longer gap between courses but that's me being picky. A great way to treat my mum for mother's day. Thank you

A little treat for a birthday. Greeted with professional and friendly waiter. Brought a carafe of water without needing to ask. Choice of 3 starters and desserts and 4 mains. The rump of lamb served med/rare to perfection. The faggot was the nicest I have ever had and my mother in law had cod loin which fell apart. My husband was brought the wrong starter but they told him he was welcome to eat it AND have the one he ordered. He had the duck for his main and it was lovely though I prefer it pink. The wine was just over £3 A glass and the 3 course meal £14.50 each. By far the best food around and you cannot fine dine for that price anywhere..my 4th visit!

Visited this wondeful restaurant this afternoon. We were greeted on our arrival, shown to our table and given menus. The drinks order was taken quickly and the drinks served. The choices on the three course menu were excellent with a variety of starters, main courses and desserts. Presentation was superb on all the dishes we ordered.The students were attentive, pleasant and professional. At the end of our meal it was lovely to see and talk to the chefs who had prepared the food.Excellent value for money.A gem which we will visit again soon.

Was greeted by a friendly young man who took our coats and showed us to our table. Drinks order was taken quickly. The 3 courses were served at a nice and relaxed pace. Both the young lady and young man were quite attentive and professional. The quality of the food was above my expectations. The restaurant was full. Had a little wait for the bill but was not an issue. Was able to make a further reservation. Will take pictures the next time.

I visited this restaurant as part of a spa day with friends. There was a very varied menu and we all found lots we liked. The food was good quality and waitresses very helpful. Good prices too. Recommend

Fantastic restaurant run by the local catering college students with oversight by their lecturers. The menus are very specific and change weekly (and seasonally). The pricing is excellent and the service is always superb. The food is better than some top London hotels and restaurants I've dined in. The kids do a great job and deserve to be supported by the wider community. I would strongly recommend paying a visit - you might be surprised!

Incredibly I saw some people going to the KFC next door. Why exactly, when you’ve got this??What an amazing meal of scallops, salmon and whiskey ice cream. It’s always a pleasure when I come here. The students really do excel and the only downside is that I get guilty if I come here every week.

Great food. Lovely staff. Portions are on the small side but this is in keeping with the price you pay making it excellent value. Would recommend.

I have just enjoyed a very fine three course meal in the restaurant and could not fault anything from the delicious and beautifully presented plates of food to the friendly and attentive service from the waiters and waitresses. I spoke to Jonathon who is a trainee chef and complimented him on the fantastic mushroom tortellini which were the most tasty of any I have ever eaten. We will be back very soon. A student run restaurant with surprisingly good quality food and a great prices! We go here every few months to see what the students have dreamt up to show off their skills and to impress the punters. Well worth a visit.

I really loved the location of place, it is very cozy and the enteriour also well-desinged. The food was greatfull, the service was fast and well-dressed. Great place, great food!

Went for lunch and had a lovely three course menu. Staff were lovely and food was up to a very high standard. Prepared and cooked by three young chefs who came out and introduced themselves after. Talking about their creations they made sound so simple, well done.

This is a teaching restaurant for students that prepare the meals and serve the meals. The restaurant is well positioned and the students are to the fore. The food was well presented and very tasty. We had the Christmas menu and all courses were very good plus coffee and mince pies. Wine is also available. This is a good course for students who hope to progress in this area.

Our first visit was truly exceptional. Menu choice was very good and did not disappoint. Stylish presented food and beautifully cooked . Staff welcoming and very attentive . Looking forward to our next visit .

What can I say? The food was amazing, service brilliant. Everything was perfect. Everyone should go and eat at this place. I cannot emphasis enough. Amazing value for money.

Fabulosa comida navideña, excelente gastronomía. El entrante de salmón melaza, carne de res para nuestro plato principal (cocinado a la perfección) y deliciosos postres (pudín de ciruela con salsa de ron con especias / limón y tarta de frambuesas con sorbete de limón / limón y jalea de Prosecco) se disfrutaron en nuestra mesa. Café y pasteles de carne picados siguieron.

Fui a almorzar hoy y como siempre la comida, el servicio, los estudiantes y los profesores fueron fantásticos. La relación calidad-precio es excelente, disfruté mucho de mi comida. El estándar de comida preparada, cocinada y servida por los estudiantes es increíble. Esta no fue mi primera visita y ciertamente no será la última.

Detrás de una puerta poco atractiva junto a la puerta principal del edificio College, hay una auténtica joya.

The food way out plays the building. It's incredible food but rememeber it is a place of education. That said it's a very clean, lovely place to be and the staff there are very professional. Did I mention how good the food is !!!

Been waiting to come here for quite a while. Some of the food exceptional. The others very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and for the price it is a bargain. Well worth the 5 stars.

8 ladies, mummies, daughters and friends out to celebrate the final night at the Nant College Restaurant for the end of term. Fabulous food and service as always, although “our Nia” completed her final year - “we will be back” :-) well done tutors and pupils for provision of fine dining for the past 2 years , inc guinea fowl , duck egg , lobster, scallops and the most amazing desserts and an excellent choice of the strongest cocktails, an experience !!!

Second visit to the Nant restaurant, and the food was been better that last time. The bread that accompanied the starter was a little salty, and the vegetables are a touch too Al dente for my tastes, but the quality of cuisines, and the speedy, friendly service is excellent. For the price, it's difficult to find anything to complain about. We'll done to the college kids. We will be back.

the sat nav didn't really help us get here, but it was so worth the trip to this restaurant. the menu though not large, offered a choice of fish meat and vegetable main courses, plus a choice of 3 starters and desserts. the service was prompt and not intrusive as I know some restaurants can be.

College restaurants vary, and one naturally gives allowance for students who are learning the trade. But, no need here.

Attended the restaurant as a party of four, for a 7.15pm reservation.

Lovely place nice food car park can be full at times but there are normally spaces to be found its all on one level after exiting your vehicle so access is easy for all

Had the 3 course lunch with my wife and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food you get for the price paid. All the dishes were nicely presented and would have been at home in any fine dining establishment. We enjoyed all the dishes we had and the flavour combinations all worked well.
