Called in here with a friend for tea and toast only....and enjoyed. This is not a salubrious place but what some may think it lacks in surroundings it makes up for in other ways. The staff are helpful and obliging. We had a couple of pots of tea, with additional pots of hot water; the toast ( choice of brown bread and white) with butter and jam was served hot and nothing was too much trouble. We were not pressurised to go when we had finished and my friend and I continued to chat and talk long after we had finished our tea/toast. It was exceptionally good value for money...so if this is anything to go by the dinners too would be the same I would imagine

If you are feeling hungry and want a huge no nonsense Sunday lunch then get yourself to the "Llwyn" For £8.95 you get Chicken, beef or pork (lamb I think is £1.00 extra) new or mash potatoes, roasters, roast parsnip, peas, carrots, green beans.Yorkshire pud, stuffing ball, delicious gravy, PLUS you get dessert which varies week to week. Honestly you cannot go wrong. Also on offer is a takeaway or delivery service. The cafe us also open throughout the week except Monday, delicious full English breakfast for £5.95. One of the best breakfasts in the valleys, we run on Saturdays with a breakfast in mind at the end, and this is the best yet. Cooked 100% fresh, and outstanding value, staff are warm and welcoming always, can't recommend high enough

Absolutely beautiful, could not fault a thing, beautiful fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, plenty of hot tea and coffee, highly recommended

My Son arrived with an Afternoon Tea Take out from the Llwyncelyn cafe as a treat for myself. The food was presented in a large box which looked and was delicious. The box was filled with a really good selection of fresh sandwiches served with coleslaw and crisps, and a good selection of cakes, served with clotted cream and jam for the scone. It was a lovely surprise and I learned later it was only £9.95! The Llwyncelyn cafe also serve breakfast, brunch and dinner and now serve Christmas Tea's. I look forward to tasting more from the Llwyncelyn cafe.
