Brilliant cream Tea for my mum in laws birthday . Couldn’t fault it and excellent value for money, very generous portions and boxes provided to take left overs home . Lovely staff and tasty food - a real gem of a place and will return. Best cream tea ever , thank you Dottys .x

Went for a family gathering and they really looked after us so difficult to comment on a normal day.

It was a wonderful place to go to, i was at my sister in laws mums funeral, and we all went back to Dottys for refreshments, there was plenty on offer and very freshly made, staff was very helpful and friendly

Fabulous place, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Our first visit, brought along by our daughter who had been few times before. Both had ham and cheese panini with chips and side salad. Food was lovely, friendly staff, good service and everything was presented so well. 10/10 for decor and beautiful china. Dottys is a little gem!

This wasn't out first visit yesterday, almost a regular. We always go for a breakfast as its a great deal but decided to have a bit of lunch. We all had paninis, absolutely beautiful. We cannot fault the staff at all, always a friendly welcome and with the lovely food, its the reasons why we keep coming back. Try a piece of bread pudding if you are near, best I've tasted!

A pleasure, as always! As soon as you walk through the doors of Dotty's Place you are greeted with the friendly atmosphere and team spirit from the employees. Nothing is too much for these girls, so grateful to have such an amazing place right on our doorstep!

My son and I went for lunch. He had the large cooked breakfast as they serve this all day. He had 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, hash browns and beans. I had a cheese and onion toastie which came with a little salad and coleslaw. We also had a big pot of tea for 2. Had at least 2 cups each. It came to just over £11.00.The food was excellent. Well cooked, not greasy and nicely presented. The place is very clean and the service was good. If you are in the vicinity make sure you go here. It’s a little off the beaten track but it’s well worth the visit. Most definitely going back!

Went today with my family for a catch up. Had a breakfast which was lovely. Didn’t have drinks until we finished our food but the women there were so apologetic which I found welcoming in a sense, being a waitress myself I know how it can be sometimes so didn’t make a fuss about it but I know for a fact their are people out there who would for sure have something to say if they didn’t receive their drinks on time lol. Hard working women and lovely atmosphere is the cafe. Will deffo return and try the afternoon tea, looked lovely! Thanks all for a lovely first experience.

Had late breakfast here this week. Wish we hadn't. It wasn't packed though it was quite busy but service was very poor. My friend & i had to wait what seemed an age for someone to take our order. We then received our coffee. After a further 10 minutes we'd drunk the coffee & my toastie arrived. I'd almost finished that when a bowl of chips arrived for my friend. Again almost 10 minutes later his breakfast arrived. The food was ok generally but unacceptably poor service.

Spacious restaurant bolted onto the side of a pub. Parking could prove problematic as most of the local area is a controlled parking zone with time-limited stay. The menu is wide-ranging and the pricing structure is in accordance with similar eateries in the local area. Service is good and the food is always fresh and flavorsome.

Lovely food/ lovely service. Maybe could do with an extra advertising board near the bike trail as we nearly missed out on it!

Came here for food whilst waiting for the car to be done nearby. Lovely scramble and bacon on toast. Good coffee. Tea could be a bit stronger but lovely. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Nice and cheap too. Life is too short to say no to cake

Just came from Dotty's place, with my daughter and her friend and I have to say it was fantastic the girls had the children's afternoon tea it was full of wonderful goodies they was not disappointed and the price is amazing !! ... I am only sorry we haven't visited before now. The staff are lovely very chatty and really make you feel at home aswell Jade couldn't do enough for us so thank you very much lovely ... We will 100% be returning I would recommend this magical little hidden gem to everyone 💎💜

1st time at Dottys today even though I have friends who have been there lots. When you walk it it is a little like a café. Clean and average BUT the service was so so friendly, we had afternoon tea which was really lovely, plentiful and amples of tea/coffee. The lady even went out of her way to accommodate a baby that was with us. Yes its not the most spectacular tea room but the food and the service definatley make up for that. Will be back

Friend & i visted for lunch last week, Breakfast & a burgewr chips with 2 drinks just over £10 so was cheap. Breakfast looked ok, not exceptionally large though. Burger wasn't by far one of the best i've ever eaten, chips were the frozen typr & again not the tastiest but an adequate meal generally.

Love coming here. Americano and a cake in a nice setting. Baguette was a bit disappointing as was stodgy but had sandwiches which are ok. Wish the afternoon tea came with proper cakes instead of rocky road/brownies but the scones are to die for

Myself and a friend visited with 2 toddlers, first visit and we had a great time. Was very busy but nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back maybe minus the mini me's for a cream tea and a few prosecco's...
