Amazing food good taste 👌😋....just loved it.

Whilst in Swansea for the day, we thought we’d have something to eat, and we’re looking for authentic Indian food.Desi Swaag disappoint with An incredible menu, including some excellent street food. We will be returning to Swansea soon with the sole purpose of eating here again.

Absolutely authentic, I'm from Mumbai originally and I visited desi swaag on my UK trip and during my visit I have tested almost everything and taste is amazing reminded me my home. 100% recommendations for everyone.

The most "Indian" Indian restaurant we've eaten at in Europe in 4 months of travel. Absolutely fabulous experience!

In Hindi, there is a saying, "Ghar ki Yaad aagaye", which means to bring back memories of home. The food at this place makes you feel this way. This place truly brings the taste of authentic Indian cuisine to Swansea. Their biryani is hands down the best in the city – flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a real treat for the senses. What makes this place even more special is the incredibly friendly and sweet staff, who make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is top-notch. If you're craving a taste of home or just want to experience incredible Indian food, Desi Swaag is a must-visit!

Collected dinner to take home. After a 25 min drive the food was still hot enough to eat. It was the most delicious Indian takeaway ever! The lamb thali was exceptional, loads of delicious dishes to try, lovely flavours and good spicing. I will definitely order from here again.

Had some starters and then a lamb thali and shared. Pani Puri was ok and vegetable kebab was quite nice. The lamb thali dishes were nice but not enough for two people really and £25 is quite steep for one person. I’d read reviews about the service being excellent, but ours was lukewarm and we waited 45 mins for starters to arrive. Incidentally they arrived one after another and not at the same time which annoyed my guest. Not sure this is for us, but enjoyed the change of scenery. Also the smell of incense is quite over powering. I like incense, but not so much when you’re tasting it.

We had a lovely meal on a quiet and rainy Monday - started with Pani Puri and a gorgeous vada pav, then shared a chicken thali between us. Some of the best Indian food I've had in a while, with attentive and friendly service, in a nicely decorated, cosy restaurant.

A little gem of a place. Unfussy, great food that’s well flavoured, nothing that feels greasy or artificially coloured. Good value too, will be heading back. So actually, don’t go. It’s not a huge place and I want to be able to get a seat.

We ordered thali and biriyani, everything was perfect, the service, the food, everything, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a must visit when in Swansea. The music adds to the vibe of the place.

🇮🇳 We had a fabulous meal at Desi Swaag in Swansea on Tuesday, where every bite was packed with authenticity. We had: 🇮🇳 Mixed pakoda 🇮🇳 Papad with assorted chutneys 🇮🇳 Vada pav 🇮🇳 Aloo tiki pav 🍗 Chicken bhuna biryani 🍗 Butter chicken masala 🍟 Masala chips 🧄 Garlic naan The mixed pakoda was crispy goodness, while the papad with assorted chutneys offered a delightful burst of contrasting tastes (was loving the tamarind dip). The street food specials stood out with the delicious vada pav, bursting with spice, and the comforting aloo tikki pav, which was a soft, savoury delight. 🍗 The chicken bhuna biryani was aromatic and perfectly spiced, paired beautifully with the rich, creamy butter chicken masala. 🍟 Masala chips added a fun, spicy kick to the meal, and the garlic naan was soft and fragrant, ideal for mopping up every bit of sauce. We obviously had leftovers, which we took home to enjoy later – and the biodegradable containers were a fab touch! Food and service is very nice feels like home

Absolutely mind-blowing food and calming ambience. The chat and Indian street food are worth their price. The Indian main courses are tasty and fulfilling.

Roti, mutton curry, vada pav and samosa chat are the best. Don't miss the fresh buttermilk. Not a fan of paratha and chicken curry though.

I had Paneer Masala Biryani... it was amazing I couldn't stop eating. Authentic taste. Amazing spices. If u want amazing authentic Indian in Swansea.. then don't think twice about coming here to eat. It's lush

My first visit to this cracking little restaurant. We had the vegetarian Thali for two which was very reasonably priced and was enough for us. The Naan was more traditional than you usually get and the dishes were very tasty. Will definitely come back again.

Had really amazing Mumbai street food at this nice restaurant. Excellent food and very friendly people. Samosa and Vada Pav was authentic. Malai Kulfi and Gulab Jamun in desserts was worth ordering.

The food is just too good. I wasn't expecting such authentic Indian food so far down south, but I was pleasantly surprised. The paneer biryani and Vada pav are to die for. Chana masala, dal tadka, pav bhaji are highly recommended. Kudos to the manager who handled our queries and special vegetarian requests very well.

I was starving after 3 days of boring hotel food in Swansea while on work trip, ordered food from Desi Swag via Uber eat, food was delicious proper Indian taste, I am so glad did order as now I can peacefully sleep .....if I come to visit Swansea again I know where to get my food from, thank you so much for saving my life and now I can survive for the rest of my trip......

the delivery driver seemed to be confused about how location services work as he went to the wrong accomodation, so I had to go collect it from him. I understand it may have been because it would be hard to take the bike uphill though, so I wasn't too upset

Looking for real authentic food. This is the best place ro try. I had vada pav, Pani puri, and Paneer tikka. Scrumptious

Nice place to dine in. Chicken Sheek malai kabab taste is good but the portion is not justifying the price(it's my personal opinion). Chicken Bhuna Biriyani - chicken piece in the biriyani is well cooked and juicy.

We visited as a group of 4 after hearing great things about the food. Although we are not vegetarian we went with vegetarian main meals. The quantity of food is excellent and we probably ordered one too many main dish. Our particular favourites were the aloo tiki chat, samosa and the saag paneer. Additionally, we also enjoyed the mango lassi, gulab jamun and the kulfi.

We had chicken bhuna biriyani from here. The best biriyani ever had from the UK. But the rice quantity was very less for an adult. I have been ordering from here for a while, even my friends have the same opinion regarding the quantity.Hope you will have a look in to this.

This was my first and last visit to the place and being an indian I know what Indian food should taste like. We 4 people have paneer tikka masala and it came as very dull taste. Even butter milk was not so good it feels just like water. I don’t recommend the place but the service was good and pop bollywood style posters do make the atmosphere very indian. We also have dahi papdi chat and dahi puri which was same with taste wise and dahi papdi chat have just some chole on it just thats it. We felt robbed with more than 50£ bill and with zero taste.

Food is nice, non veg mutton was very good, chicken was nice, dal n chhana all good for the stomach, nimbu soda, lassi was nice too.

I highly recommend this place! It was such a pleasant surprise. First time I tried a samosa burger and it was great! I also had the Punjabi choley which I really liked. Surprisingly affordable too. I’d eat here anytime.
