The best restaurants in North Wales

Pleased don't be put off that this restaurant is on a holiday/caravan park, it is very much 5 star. We visited here for our Basil's 2nd birthday. Right from the very first moment of arriving, he was made a fuss of and loved it. He had a lovely birthday table laid out for him. His lunch was excellent, hence the empty bowl! Us humans enjoyed our food too!! The portions were extremely generous. Our host, Nathan, was excellent and made the lunchtime birthday treat a most enjoyable experience.

We ordered a meal while on holiday from Himalaya and were very pleased. Very friendly staff and great food. I wouldn’t hesitate to get a meal from them again.

The Wilton is exceptional. We had a room on the front overlooking the Pier, the room was comfortable and clean with complementary refreshments and good free WiFi. Ideal location for buses and the town. Good Breakfast selection and excellent food quality. The owners Jo and Paul are extremely helpful and friendly. We'll definitely stay again. Thankyou

Great oldie worldy traditional country pub. Was visiting my friends who live in the village & was introduced to the pub & some of the local people. Great atmosphere, will definitely be back in the near future

Really nice place. There's only a short window for food, so I was told - 5-6.30 - but the food is amazing, eaten outside with a stunning view and lovely staff.

You will always find what you’re looking for and they are frequently offering sales as well as new items weekly. The staff here is helpful and all the proceeds go towards helping physically and mentally challenged adults. I highly recommend visiting this hidden treasure in North Wales, PA.

Vegan brekkie was lovely after few hrs hiking....lovely ladies

I found a hair in my dessert. Because I know how that can happen, and it was obviously from the chefs head. I didn't say anything while eating. After we finished I discretely told the waiter, whom told the chef. And the chef instead of apologizing, started questioning the waiter asking “did you see her take the hair out of the food?” I was willing AND DID pay full price. But I didn't get so much as an apology from anyone there. Very disappointed, as I would expect a chef to take such matters more seriously. The food was good, I have had better at Michelin guide restaurants in the area though.

Amazing experience, some of the best food dishes I've ever had. It's a nice touch starting off and finishing in the drawing room.

Great little cafe, but limited seating. £4.10 for bacon and egg bap. Took a while as they seem to take a lot of telephone orders. Quality of food itself is great, seem to be supplied via a local butcher.

Richard and the team are fantastic,helpful,passionate about thier work .lovely cheeses,meats and the pickles,oh my days.and the cheese and wine evenings are superb.amazing value for money,definitely worth a visit
