Happened upon this place by chance and so happy we did. The food is really good, well priced and good sized portions. The chunky chips are a must. Very happy 😊

This was recommended, first time visiting. Very busy but this is always a good sign. Friendly staff , good service and delicious fish and chips. We weren't disappointed and will return.
Amazing restaurant. From the moment we walked in , it felt special. Great decor and atmosphere. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Cannot fault any part of this experience. Definitely recommend
Revisited as had a super meal here three years ago. Unfortunately, left disappointed. The Persian prawns were good, but the other couple of tapas dishes were not. The Sea Bass was under cooked.
The customer service was fine, and the cost of the Sea Bass was removed from the bill.
A delicious meal with excellent and friendly front of house staff. We were both so impressed with the attentive and knowledgeable service we received. We had salmon (me) and faggots (husband) followed by bread and butter pudding and local cheeses. Wine list well thought out and reasonably priced. We loved the art deco decoration. Tables well spaced out and lovely gentle ambience. Wish we were local, we would be regulars!
This small cafe caught our eye as it advertised savoury crepes, and lots of them. We sat outside on a chilly February lunchtime in the sun and perused the myriad of fillings. I chose pear, fig and blue cheese.
The sweet pancake arrived covered in pear, with some deliciously squishy figs and a few walnut sprinkles. And the tiniest 4 smidges of blue cheese (not even a teaspoon worth). Overall the pancake was tasty, but really needed a proper helping of cheese to give it a balanced flavour; as it was, it was just a pear (sweet) pancake really.
Prices are reasonable and the young servers were friendly and efficient.
Great dog friendly cafe, really nice choice of home cooked food for breakfast or lunches. Clean and bright interior with plenty of outdoor seating too.
Me and the wife popped here on our way home. I'd seen plenty of recommendations on Facebook and thought I'd give it a go.
The mixed meat Gyros was very tasty and both myself and the wife were very satisfied. Can't go wrong with washing it down with dandelion and burdock 😆
Service was efficient and friendly. Could do with one in Wrexham, if the owners ever decide to diversify.

Best Fish & Chips! And best Mushy Peas in all of UK. This place has a great variety on the menu! I have a gluten free diet & eat no red meat. They were so kind to grill a quarter of a chicken for me, to meet my dietary restrictions. Mostly they serve take out, but we ate on the bench out front. Great food & people!
Had the normal swellies breakfast but disappointed with the quantity you got for £10 . One sausage, not much bigger than a chipolata, two tiny rashers of bacon, one egg, beans and a tiny portion of mushrooms. Toast was a pound extra(I didn't bother) With a coffee it was £14.95. Perhaps I should have gone for the captains breakfast. In most cafe's I find the bigger breakfast a bit too much. The service and quality were excellent though. I'll go back and have the captains breakfast next time.
