Second time we have been here and it was as good as last visit. I had the bacon ,goats cheese and pine nut pancake with honey , absolutely delicious. Daughter had the biscoff and banana and friend had smoked sausage,bacon and sauerkraut both equally good. This will definitely be on my list every time we come to visit

Craving for ice cream when passing by this beautiful street and couldn’t stop myself when found Scoops. Very nice place and amazing pancakes smell just pushing you to grab it but I already had my lunch so leave it for next time. Really enjoyed white chocolate special which was particularly good. Also dog friendly and plenty of seatings.

A really horrible weather day outside led us to this super cosy and snug cafe. Delicious Ice creams for the children, and pancakes and cake for the adults. Would definitely recommend.

Superb as usually the pancakes here are super delicious 😋 always enjoy visiting with the family. I’ve cream is also worth a try!

Great pancake house and ice cream parlour. Wide selection of sweet and savoury pancakes. Gluten free flour and or oat or soya milk available for a small supplement. GF Peach, Blueberry and Strawberry Pancake with a scoop of strawberry ice cream was brilliant. GF and DF strawberry pancake was very very tasty with plenty of strawberries. Tables at front of cafe on kerbside or in garden room / garden at the back

Absolutely outrageous for 2 pancakes nothing special at all with can aerosol spray cream which just went to milk in a few minutes it is very cheap alternative to fresh quality cream and pot of tea £23.80 such a shame as was expecting a quality pancake with plenty of fresh filling .

We fancied a change from a usual breakfast so decided to try here. We sat in the back part of the cafe and it was really lovely with a beautiful little garden. My boys had a Nutella pancake and a biscoff chocolate one. Both really enjoyed them. I opted for a savoury pancake; cheese, ham and onion. All pancakes were very nice and fresh. My only negative feedback is that it is a tad expensive, so coming here would be a treat. Staff were lovely and attentive also.

Called in today on a hot day in Caernarfon. Wasn't too busy but there were a couple of people in front of us, including a pair of French men who didn't speak great English. When one was choosing his ice cream flavours he pointed and asked for "mint please" the young lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and said "that's dog ice cream" in a very short manner. The poor guy was completely confused and embarrassed. The place may produce lovely ice cream, but being nice is much more important than that. The young lady wasn't much better when I made my order, she seemed offended that we were there.

Dropped into escape the rain. Dog friendly which is not always the case in North Wales. Very nice Dutch style pancakes although very expensive. Kids enjoyed them, my wallet less so. Good service and nice atmosphere.

We live locally and go all the time as this is the best ice cream and pancakes in the area, Amy and her team are so friendly and welcoming. So many amazing flavours of ice cream i always struggle to decide what to have, they also do really good pancakes. I prefer the savoury ones and the kids love the sweet ones.

Will start off by saying how lovely all the girls are in here. Fab and friendly. Nothing too much for them. We had lovely fresh pancakes but with hardly anything on them. We paid just over £30 for 2 pancakes and 2 latte’s. I found this very expensive to think we could have had two decent meals elsewhere for that price. It was fabulous one off but certainly not somewhere you can visit often for the prices. Yes I get everything has gone up food wise, but the extras we asked for wasn’t worth the price.

Absolutely wonderful pancake shop! Super attentive staff for whom nothing is too much trouble! Even made us a puppacino even though it's not on the menu! Cannot recommend enough. Everything was made fresh to order including the gluten free pancakes. Delicious!

This place is a gem. They do a huge range of savoury and sweet pancakes. The garden room area is bright and cosy. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave good recommendations. The pancakes were delicious. We opted for savoury and tried the sweet sauce on top on recommendation from a member of staff and it was strangely good! Well worth a visit!!

Delicious savoury pancakes! Great range of toppings offered and loads of choices for vegetarians. All cooked fresh to order and staff friendly and welcoming. Menu offered range of sweet pancakes and ice cream too (though we didn’t try those).

We found this small cafe and were drawn in by the offer of pancakes. There was a huge selection of sweet and savoury toppings on offer. The pancakes were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole visit.

If, like is you get sick of “same old same old” for lunch (what we call supermarket cafes) try this. Delicious and beautifully cooked Dutch pancakes with sweet or savoury toppings. They are a bit thicker than standard pancakes - very nice

Stopped off for a snack here and was pleased to see they offer a gluten free batter for their pancakes. I went for Nutella and banana - the pancake was big with plenty of banana, but only a tiny amount of Nutella in a tiny pot, which meant the pancake was quite dry overall. Still glad to see GF options, but toppings could be more plentiful.

One of those establishments that's easy to miss. We decided on savoury pancakes and smoothies. What a bewildering choice. To add to that there was also a specials board (which I managed to miss). The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. We were both more than satisfied when we left. I can't comment on whether it's expensive or not. To do that I would need to make comparisons with other pancake houses.

Very expensive ice cream. £9 for 2 pots. £9! It was nice nut nothing WOW. mine was infact so fresh it hadn’t set properly. Next time ill pop to the supermarket and get a cheaper version. Its no better than that.

Had lunch here with my daughter and the dog. Very welcoming place, friendly service (made a very welcome fuss of the dog too ...) and great food.

Visited with my partner who is gluten intolerant and was delighted that he could order pretty much anything off the menu! We had savoury and sweet pancakes (and some ice cream!) and it was all delicious.

This place is (rightly) popular and getting a table can be tricky, but they also do takeaways. The dutch pancakes are terrific (we had both sweet and savoury options) and they also make a mean coffee!

We visited Scoops last year and enjoyed it so much that we promised ourselves we'd be back.Obviously this summer is very different from last summer and the seats inside aren't available but there are some tables outside and pancakes (and other Dutch options) are being served in takeaway boxes. The pancakes are as good as ever - we all chose savoury and milkshakes, smoothies and ice creams went down well too!Hopefully we'll be back again one day, when things are back to normal. Until then I'd highly recommend going to Scoops.

Called in with family while on a weekend away. Great range of homemade pancakes and ice cream. Family really enjoyed their food and visits and we took away great syrups and biscuits. The team working could not do enough for us. Would really recommend.Also my 5 year old left a toy and they very kindly posted it back to us this morning. My little girls was over the moon. Thank you so much and we will definitely call in again if in the area. If you don’t visit you are missing something.

I had a bacon and syruo pancake when I visited. It was very good, but different from what I expected. Instead of the bacon being in the pancake, as I am used to, it was on top, more like a pizza. Try this savoury and sweet combination... it's very good! I also had a scoop of pistachio icecream- handmade and delicious!

We went in as a party of 8 and they were very accommodating, they did ask whether they could do the kids pancakes 1st which was perfect for us. The food is really good and well worth a visit.The best pancakes I have had in years

This restaurant serves pancakes. They are fabulous. You can have your pick of savory or sweet. I've always had savory before but today I had sweet, stem ginger and honey, with ice cream, and now I'm going to have to choose when I go there. The ambiance of the place makes you feel comfortable from the off and if you've been before you always get a warm welcome back. If I say anything more I'm going to start repeating myself so please go and see for yourself.

Accommodated a group of 10 with a smile and outstanding service and great food :) I had pancakes with goats cheese, bacon, pine nuts and honey followed by millionaires shortbread sweet pancakes....flippin lovely.

We visit Scoops in August. The restaurant was full both outside the from and inside however the helpful waitress showed us through to a small garden at the rear. As well as the usual sweet pancakes there are several savoury options to chose from. I had the strawberry with bacon and blue cheese, it was delicious

Stopped in here for brunch. The pancakes are really good with a huge variety of toppings available and the option to add additional toppings. The coffee is also really good.

Popped in today with a party of seven. Greeted by a lovely coffee aroma. Plenty of choice of flavours for ice-cream and it was really tasty. Staff polite and friendly.

We were told to look this place up as it's a hidden gem. Just tucked away down a side street opposite the castle. It was, unfortunately not wheel chair friendly inside but there was outdoor seating. The staff waited on us and were so helpful and patient in helping my confused elderly friend choose a smoothie and a savoury pancake which he demolished with great satisfaction whilst I had a sweet pancake and a zingy smoothie.

There are so many choices - savoury and sweet. My kids enjoyed the smoothies. The coffee was good too. Service was quick.

We found this little perfect gem in caernarfon. It set the tone for my friends 40th birthday. We visited with 2 kids in tow and there were a few little activities to occupy them whilst we waited for food. The place is small but very characteristic offering a great choice of sweet and savoury pancakes which tasted amazing. I was not disappointed one bit and would recommend this to anyone!!

Have now been here several times with our grandchildren who love it. Popular and busy place that serves excellent pancakes, both sweet and savoury. They also offer gluten free pancakes as well, which for me is a boon.

Go down the umbrella-lined street just opposite the Castle and you'll find many souvenir and craft shops as well as cafes and restaurants.

Both ourselves and our dogs were made to feel very welcome; nothing was too much trouble. Food: Wow! Doggie treats: Scoffed!, Customer service: Excellent & Coffee: Beautiful! - A rich roast, bursting with a gentle flavour & aroma. The staff were excellent ambassadors for Scoops, answering all our questions with no rushing and patience. Thank you for serving the nicest food and coffee we've had on holiday & caring!

Quaint tea shop serving teas, coffees, and along with a great choice of pancakes, Bara Brith(local fruit cake) served with butter, scones and cakes. The pancakes were delicious and cooked to order. Lovely atmosphere and there are tables in the small but picturesque yard garden.

We bumped into this delightful cafe as we were looking for the Street with the "Umbrella Canopy" currently on display in Caenarfon.We ordered the Savory Dutch Pancake with chicken and mushrooms with a Spinach base.It was beautiful & Delicious.The cappucino was good too.The Service was also fast & friendly.

Called in at Scoops this morning with the family, at the start of a tired journey home from Haven. Have to say we weren't expecting very much but it was at least offering an escape from the weather - the allure of pancakes perked the children up though, and they persuaded us to go in.

Takeaway hot chocolate and peanut butter pancake was a delicious treat, and it's such a lovely well presented cafe too. Takeaway orders are 20% off too. I'll be back

My daughter and I visited for a birthday treat on saturday 1st June. We had savoury pancakes for lunch that were freshly made and totally scrumpcious. We then went for a shop and came back about 2hrs later for icecream! Lots of spoon sharing so we got the benefit of the different flavours chosen. Chocolate orange and ferror roche my favourite. Great staff. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Pretty outdoor area aswell. Looking forward to visiting again.

We happened across this restaurant by accident. It is a small restaurant with only a few tables, so you might have to wait a few minutes for a table to become available as we did. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so it wasn't a problem. The pancakes were amazing - great choice of both sweet and savoury pancakes. We split 1 savoury

Lovely little cafe down a pretty street. Truly amazed at the variety of savoury & sweet dishes they can fit on a pancake. We had cheese and mushroom, 3-cheese (included a tasty mild blue cheese that has now converted a teenage to blue cheese), a breakfast one with baked beans and strawberries & chocolate (would have loved real melted chocolate but tasted like chocolate sauce). Drinks were really great too - chai latte and unicorn milkshake.

We were visiting as on a coach holiday riding on heritage railways. Scoops was something different for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, We went for sweet pancakes and they were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and service was quick and efficient would love to return one day.

If you've never tried savoury pancakes then don't go anywhere until you've visited Scoops. I assure you you'll never visit another pancake establishment again. My family and I popped in whilst spending the day at Caernarfon Castle. I had the Goat cheese, bacon and pine nuts pancake. My husband added Beetroot to his and our children had sweet pancakes each. The taste was out of this world. Along with a excellent creamy Americano it was a great lunch. The cafe is so quaint and beautifully decorated. Small yet perfect for the amount it holds. Lovely team of people who couldn't do enough for us and other customers. We will definitely be back someday!

I absolutely love this place, its food and its people. I usually can't decide whether to have savoury or sweet so end up having both, but the choice is so amazing I could have about six! Always a friendly atmosphere, and several locals are part of the furniture here, which says it all really. A real treat!

Came here looking for shelter from the rain!! I had a dirty chai tea latte - I’d never seen one before! It was really tasty. My friends had the Dutch pancakes and they looked amazing. Worth a visit!

4 of us had different savoury crepes then sweet ones - all so tasty, plates all cleared! We all asked for slight changes to the listed ingredients and this was no problem at all. Staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend this lovely place. Will be back.

Found this place by accident, the two boys wanted smoothies, nice staff. They have a small back garden area which was very comfy. As soon as the boys seen the menu they wanted pancakes as well A great selection of savoury and sweet choices. Very well presented and the staff give you recommendations which is good. There is a specials board, make sure you look, we missed it and there was some tasty dishes on there.

Absolutely love this little place. Happened across it by accident. It’s a bonus it’s dog friendly out the back. Had a coffee and local bars brith. Will certainly visit again for some quiet time with a newspaper and great coffee. The staff are so lovely too. You must go see. Little treasure.

Wow the Dutch pancakes are just fabulous I can't recommend them highly enough. We bought some caramel stroop to take home just delicious. If you want a tasty treat make sure you stop here.

The pancakes and ice creams here are out of this world and the staff are really friendly I love going here with my kids for a pancake or on my own for a coffee and a treat, would highly recommend this amazing place as I often do to anyone I know heading into Caernarfon....they make a lovely latte too

Visited them for a late lunch on a Saturday. They were busy, had to wait 10 mins for a table, pancake was fantastic with ice cream for desert.

The pancakes are the main reason my daughter badgers us to visit this place everytime we come to Caernarfon. It is a little, rustic old world building so if you are a big group you may need to book.

Went for lunch to Scoops in Caenarfan today. Had the lunch and pancake deal. Great value. Great food. Great coffee. Lovely friendly staff. Well worth a visit !! X

This place is a lovely treat. The pancakes are freshly made before you. The choices of ingredients are endless. The combinations are endless. Some combinations on the menu I would have never thought of but tried found worked perfectly and really exited my palate e.g pear, Stilton and parma ham whoaaa what awesome flavour to experience together.

Lovely ambience and setting, warm and cosy on a cold day! All of our pancakes were super yummy. They could make egg-free pancake for me too. The chai tea and coffees and smoothies were good. The service was some of the friendliest and most helpful we found on our visit to UK :)
