Breakfast before golf ⛳️ lovely staff and good food

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I stopped by to charge my EV and, even though they were closed, the owner let me use the toilet (bless him!). On my return trip, I stopped by again and the staff was warm and lovely. The cheese toasty and latte were amazing, too! If you're in North Wales, stop by! (Side note: If you're looking for a charging station in North Wales, definitely recommend this one - easily found, lots of high power stations, and super-easy process with the Osprey app.)

I actually stopped for an EV charge, of which there are loads and good speeds too. If you arrive at a popular time, the queue is longer than the charge takes. Very popular with locals.

They do an amazing veggie and vegan breakfast, good variety of items at decent price. Friendly staff, and the second a table was clear, they were straight on it to clear it up. Plenty of parking, including Ev charge points. We ended up going there both the Saturday and Sunday morning.

We went there for the start of the Prestatyn to Bala classic car run today 26/08/24. When they opened mad rush to ge the breakfast or bacon butties lovley menu lots of choices go and give ot a try well worth the food was lovley. Been back today with 7 other classic cars going for a run to Anglesey motor museum. Introduced them all to Billy Jean's for a super breakfast thank you Billy jeans for a lovley start to the day. Nice cafe with easy to see what you want and easy to order, food was nice and was plentiful

Really nice food and a reasonable price. Basic cafe but nice and clean. Friendly staff as well. The skin on chips were extremely good. Proper bottles of sauce on each table, again nice and clean. Been past the place hundreds of times but the first time me and my daughter have been in. Bacon cheese burger and chicken burger both great 😃

Have my electric car over 1 week now. Staying in llandudno tried to charge it, and it was a disaster only found one 50kw charger and then not working when i got to it. I was then travelling to Chester and found the best EV charging point to date. Fast and friendly service. The place was not signed too well, but google Maps directions were very good. I spoke with the owner, and he said he was getting better signage put up.

Stopped to charge the car - loads of EV charging points - all v fast. The man at Billie Jeans was just closing and he opened up for us to make us a drink. We had some cake too. Lovely man - great service!

A charming, friendly café in an unassuming location. We had Welsh rarebit which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities all very clean. Parking is easy and there are several rapid chargers for EVs available.

Great food, friendly and prompt service. All you could want from a cafe like this and done at great value for money. My first visit but not my last.

Just had the halfway breakfast, and there was plenty of food. Dogs loved their sausage, too. Toilet facilities were good too, plenty of female supplies if needed. Staff is very nice and will talk to you. It was busy, but the service ran smoothly.

We stayed last night as we are Britstoppers. We had a takeaway breakfast this morning which was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Thank you. We will be back when we visit Ty Croes or my sister in Halkyn.

This review is for the EV chargers rather then the cafe which was closed upon arrival (closes at 2pm). About 12 Fast chargers with only 1 other car using the facility. Easy to find and use.

First time visitor, the staff are extremely welcoming, the full English was huge and cooked beautifully, the wash room facilities were spotlessly clean and all at a great price, plus you get a proper mug of tea. I highly recommend 👍

We stopped here to charge the car and get a bite to eat in July 2024. The place was under construction and should be reopened in a few weeks, according to the owner. We will stop again when in the area. It's a great spot for Ev's as there are loads of chargers.

Stopped here mid July to use the EV charging station. Found the place was still under construction. Was chatting with the owner and looking forward to revisiting when it’s all up and running. I will give it 5 stars as the chargers all fantastic.

An excellent example of an old-fashioned roadside cafe with great food and great service. A real shame that it closes at 2pm especially as it has a dozen (?) EV chargers outside that are working 24/7

My wife and I recently visited Billie Jean’s Cafe and opted for the Halfway Breakfast paired with a latte. It was absolutely spot on! The sausage in particular was gorgeous and really tasty, making the breakfast memorable. The latte was perfect, just the way we like it. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, as they always are. A special mention goes to Rob, the owner of the cafe. Whenever we visit, he always makes conversation and shares interesting stories. Rob oozes with charisma and character, qualities that every cafe owner needs. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Stopped here for breakfast on way home from Wales. It was a rainy Sunday morning, gnarly weather, and craving for some good food. Oh boy, what a good experience we had here, it completely changed our moods. Apart from the food which was lovely, especially the sausages (full of taste), the staff was amazing. Everyone here seemed happy, sociable and excited. It was just a rainy Sunday morning, but in here you`d forget about what`s going on outside. We will definitely come back here on the next trip to Wales. We left and for the next few hours we just couldn`t believe how much better we felt after stopping here. Thank you all.

I've always thought of Billy Jean's as a greasy spoon cafe or truckstop style diner as it's situated next to the A55. For a family meal this weekend Billy Jean's was suggested and I tagged along. My dad phoned up to book the table as he wanted to specify that our party included 2 children, he was also under strict instructions to check if they did scrambled egg as one child wanted that. When we arrived there was ample parking! We went in and were greeted with brightly coloured chairs and quirky decor that mismatched (I like that style). A man approached us (I'm presuming the owner?) To ask if we were the party of 8 with two kids and showed us where we would be seated. Extremely friendly and approachable chap. The rest of our party arrived and were made to feel welcome by the man who explained we could rejig the tables to suit us etc. There's no table ordering service here, which I was glad about as members of the party arrived at different times it gave us time to chat and catch up before thinking about our drinks and food order etc. We ordered some Halfways, a veggie option, a beast (I think), two customised kids options and a customised adult meal. The owner came over with the receipt to double check the order was correct as it was quite a big order which was a nice touch. When waiting for food I took the kids to the toilet - really quite impressed, I must say! There's often a dead space in public toilets as there's a double door situation (go through one door to a teeny tiny porch before another door into the toilet or cubicle area). The space here was utilised really well by making the dead space an area. It had a sunken vanity area with mirror and sink and opposite was the baby changing. Straight ahead through the second door was the toilet with some lovely shelving, spare toilet roll and sanitary towels in a dish behind the immaculately clean toilet. When coming back to the table we were informed that there was a book area in which we could help ourselves. Very impressed as it's a wonderful way to keep the kids entertained whilst waiting. (May I suggest, if you get a few children here, maybe a tray of recycled paper and crayons so they can help themselves etc!) The food itself was lovely, a decent size for the price paid. I enjoyed that the toast came as a tower on its own plate (I do occasionally enjoy a soggy, buttery toast!) Overall, I'd definitely come back! We even said it would be a lovely place to come on Christmas morning or Christmas eve - although we are skeptical about the opening times. Highlights for me: The little library The random mugs - it's like being at your friend's house as a few of them are different The friendliness of the staff The attentiveness of the owner The thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

Orders breakfast online for takeaway, ready promptly, friendly service. Lovely food. wrapped well, so still warm when got it home.

stopped here today (working down the road in Rhosesmor) had BBQ chicken burger and chips, food was nice, nice chunky chips and big fat chicken burger, fresh crunchy salad. homemade Millionaire shortbread that was lovely. very friendly ladies running the place, very polite and welcoming. not bad priced either! plenty of parking all in all a good visit! 👍 keep it up ladies!
