Victoria Chippy in Flintshire

If you fancy a real Chippy Tea, this is the place to eat. Had around five orders from here now, all were 5 Star. I am writing this because the owner personally delivered my last order in around ten minutes due to lack of drivers on the app I used. Wonderful husband and wife team and the food is top quality. Thanks so much.

We called in for fish & chip at 8.20pm, we got half way home to Buckley & thought we will try a chip, WOW, all of the chips were like crisps & rock hard, hardly any potato in them, & the fish must have sat there for 4 hours as the batter was rock hard, and hardly any fish in in it at tall, this was the first time we have tried this chippy, & it will be the last we got to Broughton Chippy & the whole box of food is in the bin outside there. Absolutely disgusting food !! I called to complain & the lady said come back we will give you more food or your money back, I dont want either, !! the point is dont serve food like that to your customers.

Great fish and chips! The fish was fresh and well-cooked, and the chips were crispy and tasty. The portion sizes were good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a nice, straightforward place for a classic meal. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for solid fish and chips!

I ordered a small fish and chips with curry sauce when I was visiting Saltney. The food was freshly cooked and the fish had a lovely light batter and was good value. My mum enjoyed the chips and she's pretty fussy!! The staff are lovely and the younger girl who was serving went out of her way to interact with the customers. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Pleasant staff ,but Fish and chips very , very greasy. Need to consider healthier alternatives when cooking the fish and fresher batter mix. Good portion sizes though and varied menu

My chicken and mushroom pie was quite clearly gone off and smelt absolutely rancid. When I phoned they were “closed”, got go here unless you want food poisoning I guess

I’ve been to Victoria Chippy many times throughout the years - I’m never disappointed! The service the staff provide is excellent, all customers are treated as if they are a regular which is great for anyone visiting! This takeaway is great to have a meal or snack that’s cheap but tasty😋!!

Had a very bad experience where my food was stolen by my just eat driver, and I phoned the restaurant to see what they could do, not expecting anything as it was just eats fault. The owner came personally to my flat to deliver a new set of food to me, which I really appreciated. The food was incredible, but I was blown away by the service I received.

I had a Chicken burger and Chips with Curry sauce tonight absolutely lush, premises were very clean and tidy. Under new management, Will be sure to call again. Tea was very much enjoyed.

We used to regularly use Victoria Chippy until a few years ago when ownership/standard dropped significantly. By chance I noticed a good review so instead of going to Broughton gave Saltney a chance. Good to see my fish freshly cooked and with the chips was a delicious supper. Added to that it was about £2 cheaper which is a considerable saving for pensioners. Well done - keep up the good work. We'll certainly be back soon and recommend to our friends.

Had the small fish dinner.. i would wonder what the large was like as our meals were big, fresh cooked to order and piping hot . Nice and clean and covid aware. Very good.

Had fishcake & chips with curry sauce. Service was great and very friendly, The fishcake was home-made and was excellent. The chips were crispy and spot on. The curry sauce was a commercial one, but it happens to be my favourite anyway.

V good freshly cooked chips with a excellent fish with it Great flavour of what they should taste like with friendly efficiant staff in a very clean place. Only one draw back not wheelchair friendly.

Chips are very well done here, and their curry sauces are to die for. I also love the fact they sell batteted mars bars and knowing it was a Scottish treat, and that i was cirious i tried one. I've never had one before and I loved it!
