Richard and the team are fantastic,helpful,passionate about thier work .lovely cheeses,meats and the pickles,oh my days.and the cheese and wine evenings are superb.amazing value for money,definitely worth a visit

As a family we love the olive tree. The fresh food and cured meats are our favourite. But there is craft beer, cheese, oils, teas and coffees with many more amazing produce. The service is excellent they all take time and if you have any questions they will help and explain everything. All the staff took time to interact with my 6 year old and she now sees this as her favourite shop of all time. Also they are very aware of gluten free/ ciliac and if you have questions will ensure its clear for every one.

This is a great deli. They sell loads of amazing cheeses, olives, ham, gourmet sausage rolls, delicious wines, and lots more. The cheese and wine evenings are a lot of fun and an opportunity to try a variety of charcuterie, cheese, and paired wines. At the same time you get to meet a lot of like minded people. Great as an individual or a group. Richard the owner is also lovely and very personable. Definitely recommended.

Shopping here is truly an Aladdin’s cave for foodies. The stick of pantry condiments is fabulous….choose carefully and the taste explosion’s can transport your tastebuds to out of works experiences. The quality of produce, knowledge and hospitality of the employees at the olive tree makes this a stand out deli. I would highly recommend popping in an sampling the beautiful cheese, antipasti etc Quality at its best in all respects.

Whatever you want or whatever you didn't even think you needed Richard has got it all. The finest food of Wales and Europe is available at his shop. You cannot afford not to visit when in Mold.

Superb deli with wide variety of quality foods, cooked meats, cheeses, oils, nibbles etc etc. Excellent wine and cheese evening each month. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Just love Richard, always a really personal service and he understands when we just want a little of this and that. We love to try different cheeses and Richard will always cut a smaller piece for us. The sausage rolls are fabulous. I also like the vinegar selection and the option of bringing my vessel back for a refill. I particularly like the mango vinegar in the summer months. I always leave with more than was on my list.

A gem of a deli. The cheese selection is excellent, with a very knowledgeable vendor. Good pies and cold meats. New are the baked goods, croissants etc.

Fantastic Deli on the high Street Mold with a wonderful selection of cheese and cold mets plus lots of other great goodies. The staff are really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a great website and lots of ideas for special events.

Fantastic helpful staff where you can find some lovely food for entertaining or to just treat yourself. A great selection of oils and vinegars for those who prefer home cooking.

Richard and his colleagues go out of their way to help and will invariably order in if you want something they don't have in stock. Delivering to homes during lock down.

Bought cheese from here after tasting at a local hotel paid premium of £10.82 for 2 small pieces I appreciate quality does not come cheap however when we got home and put into the fridge saw it had the next day date on as use by surely this can't be the normal if it is you should be advised of this on purchase

After the awful experience at the tasters deli in mold we went into the olive tree. Friendly clean & very welcomming even let me & mum taste his meat lovely service so THANK you only then you realize that their is lovely friendly people still left in the industry that respect their customers. By the way I ate my salami all the way back to Anglesey:) ***** 5 stars from us both

Every thing you expect from a delicatessen and more. Richard is friendly and knowledgable. He stocks the best local products and a fine selection of British and Continental meats and cheeses. He is more than happy to recommend products that he feels you may like. A worthy winner of a recent award fro Wales' best Deli.

A great treat to buy some excellent cheeses and meats from Richard and his staff. This shop is a wonderful addition to the high street in Mold and never fails to brighten up the weekend.

Just the place to buy cheese olives Olive oil and the odd bottle of wine. Never cease to amaze just how a small independent shop can carry such a range of goods. Great to pop into on market day

I would question the freshness and turnover at such ridiculous prices. The olive tree need to remember this is Mold a market town. Over £3 for a pie no wonder the shop is always empty and your begging for customers in the street with a plate of food.

What a very pleasant surprise during our visit to Mold. Lovely staff. A very wide range of nice foodstuffs. They made us two of the world’s best sandwiches for our drive home

My first cheese and wine evening, Was great. Cheese paired with the wine was delicious, plus olives, salami and dips. Very enjoyable evening, Can't wait for the Christmas evening.

This deli has brought an amazing selection of food to the historic market town of Mold. It's worth a visit to sample the delights yourself. Staff are extremely friendly and know their produce. They are passionate about the food on offer and amazing customer service.

Can’t stop recommending this place to others! The owner(s) and staff are so so lovely and are clearly really well informed about the products they are selling - and are also are very chatty, which creates a really lovely environment. The fresh food is delicious and I would particularly recommend the quiche!! I just love it here and considering many delis are overpriced I have been surprised at the very reasonable prices here. Will be visiting again soon!
