Jess (the manager) was fantastic when organising my sons 18th birthday at the venue. She was responsive/professional and helpful from enquiry to the night. The evening went perfect from beginning to end. All the staff on the night were amazing and nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommend for a private function. The entire place is stunning with a lovely seated area upstairs for those that might want to chill and chat. Jess also recommended a DJ, who was also fantastic. We will deffo be back!
I visited the wheatsheaf with my family as we was passing and it was around lunch time, well all I can say is the staff members were foul mouthed and rude.
Just had a delicious three courses in this pub. Food was excellent and setting was lovely. The service was not fast which we enjoyed as we had time to chat between courses. We will definitely be going back. Great meal.
Vastly improved from the poor reviews, nice and clean with a great atmosphere and fantastic staff. Coors was as it should be, crisp and fresh tasting and left rings around the glass like it’s meant to.
Karaoke was on, some of the singers not so great but it was fun and even danced.
Warning, but NOT the fault of the cafe: maximum 2hr parking otherwise very large rip-off fine from private parking company for plonkers like us who, arriving separately to shop & then meet for a nice relaxed chat, did not observe the signs. Coffees & teas were nice but of all the many available tables about 10am, none were clean. We asked & the table was wiped for us, but not cleaned properly, in my opinion. We’ll find a friendlier, cleaner venue to meet up next time. Very disappointing.
