Ordered from here countless times over the years, no complaints. Great food, great service, fast delivery (unless you're ordering during peak times which is to be expected).

Food was cold. Had beef curry with fried rice, the sauce was way too rich and sickly, the fried rice was more like boiled rice. Will not be returning! We’ll stick to China Star!

Ordered an hour in advance yet food turned up 25 minutes late! Chips were soggy and undercooked and obviously luke warm like the rest of the meal. I have given this place so many chances but it has seriously gone downhill.

We ordered food to be delivered to our caravan park. We ended up having to report missing dishes. When I called the guy told me it was tough luck and there was nothing they could do as they were too busy to put it right. I eventually got them to deliver the missing food but it had already spoiled the evening. I would t bother ever using China China again. Even if it was free!! Shockingly bad service with no care for customers at all.

Just had one of the nicest takeaways from China China that we have ever had. The food was delicious and good value for money. We are not from this area so was surprised to find such a good Chinese takeaway in Wrexham. Would recommend it to any visitors to the area.

Would have a meal from here again

We have been using China China for about 7 years since we moved near by to it. Didn't have a problem until this year. We had food missing in recent order and last night's order was so bad we threw most of it away. The salt and pepper chicken wings were quite tasteless and not many peppers and onions with the portion at all like has been previous. The special fried rice had dried curled up fragments of meat in it and my Thai red curry I can honestly say smelled and looked like sick. We did have a portion of chips too which were so dry they were like cardboard. As we have had so many good meals from here we gave it the benefit of the doubt and rang today to ask if anything had changed chef wise etc whilst making our complaint about the food. The lady on the phone Katrina was so nice and relayed our conversation to the manager who just replied shouting with a really bad attitude asking why we didn't say anything at the time? We work hard all week and a takeaway is a treat to us on a Saturday night and something we really look forward to and were so upset and dissapointed we didn't complain that evening instead we got on with our night and tried not to let it ruin it completely and decided to make a complaint tonight. Well it didn't get us anywhere and basically nothing was offered as compensation the manager was just uncaring and rude. Such as shame as we have been a loyal customer for years. All we wanted was an apology and a reason why the food was so bad and we would have give them another go, not now... There are many other Chinese takeaways to try and China China will never get our custom again and we will make sure we tell all our friends about our terrible service we had here!

Great Chinese and cater for gluten free

My last order from here gave me food poisoning maybe it was a one off mistake but it's been my local for over 18 years I've seen many come and go but the new owners are by far the worst. food was bland and has been on a continuous decline in quality china china is nothing compared to the old slow boat disappointed!!

Thank you China china, had some friends from England over, so we ordered a feast from here, the appetiser for 2,it was fresh crispy and tasty, the prawn toast had no grease it was awesome. Will be ordering this again

You really need to ignore all the ridiculous bad reviews, I’m only writing this review after looking at them and feeling that they were so unfair on this business. The food is delicious and perfect every time and I have been ordering for a year now and my boyfriend for many years. Always arrives hot and in quick time. Chicken balls are very tasty, seasoned and don’t make you feel yucky like many other ones I’ve had in the past. Absolutely delicious and is my go to now, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you, cannot wait to order again!

We order pork ribs with syrup just now after an exhausting hiking in snowdonia so hungry but they deliver the pork ribs with literally just bones no meat even dog cant eat anything at all. I phone up for exchange or refund. The lady and man both Chinese accent won't give their names and the said they can't refund or even exchange it to any other meal or noodles. They just hang up the phone very rude they only said they can't do that. Please don't ever order or come in this takeaway restaurant a rip off and no manners at all.

Always have had from this place its been good, last 3 times WOW disgraceful. 1st time no meat in a special curry.! 2nd time complained no meat sent again no meat, phoned them and they said we asked for no meat.... 3rd time is the last straw, came i opened mine put a spoon full on the plate.... big eye lash with glue on the end.... the attitude on the phone was terrible. They came took all the food back and gave us a refund.... minus the tip.

No stars but have to give one to leave to leave review. Phoned to let them know that we had been given the wrong food and the owners were not bothered, also told them that the sweet & sour sauce was watery and their reply was 'that's how it is all the time' I will not be ordering from here ever again and would not recommend this takeaway, they don't care what customers think and their attitude stinks.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken Hong Style and Chicken and ham fried rice - Sweet and sour chicken was just ok, hard over fried pieces which were inedible and the rice was very oily and had tinned spam !! In it .... I’m pretty sure this is not an authentic Hong Kong recipe 😉 Overall expensive and I would not order again

Have been a regular customer for many years, and the food is great. Placed order for delivery for the first time and was told 45mins.an hour later I rang back and they said it was on way. 20 minutes later still not arrived. In summary great food, but I won't be lied to

The menu was a little hard to find what I wanted to order but I have the order committed to memory. The sweet and sour chicken is to die for and so is the egg fried rice. This is my go to takeaway for a achievement or when it’s someone’s birthday (after cake of course).

Ordered from here a few times over last couple of months and the food is lovely, the chicken balls are delicious and lots of chicken in them not just full of batter like a lot of other chinese takeaways. We have had chow main and that's really nice too, chicken currys a bit on the spicy side for me but our son enjoyed it

The food has always been delicious from China China, I would recommend it any day!My personal favourite is the beef & green pepper with black bean sauce, and salt & pepper chips. Yummy

About average. I ordered the special curry which is my absolute 100% go to chinese dish if I cant make my mind up. It's simple for the chef and you cant particularly mess that up? Well the curry was far too thick. The paste was too strong and salty, and as for the MSG? I will be honest, I would have rather they used it because there wasnt anything to like. I hardly got any meat :( Chips? Your average chinese takeaway chip. They're a side not a dish you cant particularly rate them on that. 3/10 for their greasyness. Fried rice: guys where is the salt, light soy or dark soy? I have boiled rice, and Egg surprise. Surprise that there was no egg. Local business, I understand that a negative review can absolutely put a dampner on a independently owned business.

Just had a delivery from China China , first of all they didn’t send my full order then lied about it and said I didn’t ask for the item , and the bbq spare ribs that I ordered looked like dog bones and not fit for consumption , never again will I order food from them absolutely disgusting

Seen a couple of people giving relatively good reviews on this Chinese takeaway and our usual Chinese takeaway (rainbow house) was closed due to covid 19 so decided to try China China. It was ok. Nothing special. A little bland. We’ve had much better. Reminded us of the type of Chinese food you’d get at an all you can eat Chinese buffet. Salt & pepper shredded beef - overcooked so very crispy and snapped apart. So dry. Fried rice - ok but quite pale/white. Looked closer to boiled rice. Chicken fried rice. The same but did have lots of lean chicken in it which was nice. Noodles - looked burnt but tasted okSatay chicken - ok Sweet & sour chicken Hong Kong - the best bit. It was very nice. Salt & pepper chips - nice but not nearly enough salt & pepper seosoning . Deffo need more Battered chicken balls. Couldn’t eat them as the chicken was wet, pink, translucent and not cooked through properly. Overall we won’t be ordering from here again in a hurry.

We have been using this chinese for years and we also order over £100 worth of food every New Year when we celebrate with friends. The food is always gorgeous, the people are polite, warm and friendly and the delivery service is great. Reading the ONE bad review below, based on a delivery taking 1hr 30 - well that is hardly justification for a bad review! Delivery is generally very fast around 30-40 minutes, but occasionally we have waited 1 hour 30 when they are busy. Do we mind? No - you can always go and collect if it bothers you!

We order from here at least once a month, and it's always amazing. Reasonably fast delivery, good value and always delicious. I particularly recommend their salt n pepper chicken, and their chicken toasts

After a disastrous meal at the Sleepy Panda, the hotel owner suggested I try China China which is a Take Away just around the corner from where I was staying. My word, what a difference. The portions sizes were good, not too pricey and the food? stunning. The ribs are to die for, nice and tender with a good flavour and not loaded with MSG. The special and egg fried rice was gorgeous (light fluffy and not oily) as was the establishment made sweet and sour sauce that accompanied our generously portioned meat dishes. Overall the quality of the food was excellent, the staff very helpful, the place very clean and the pricing very good considering what one gets for one's money so I can't fault it in any way and being a retired Chef, I'm very fussy about cleanliness and food quality.

I’ve been eating at this place for about a year now. Every time I order, the food comes fast and is always well prepared. Consistency is the key here, as I’ve been to quite a few Chinese take always in the area that has not always upkept the standard. Also the dishes are not bland, unlike some. As a regular I can recommend these guys! Keep up the good work.

Absolutely awful. So spicy I couldn’t taste a thing. Absolutely NOT salt and pepper - just pure dried chillies. Rest of the meal just bland. Very disappointed - ended up having to cook a meal because I just couldn’t eat it, and neither could my friend!

Last night my daughter called into china china Chinese take away for two curries these were the worst curries that we have had in Wrexham, No taste besides the curry powder that was so hot it burnt the mouth, No body in in the curry it was that thin it run off the spoon. would not recommend this one.

So, I ordered salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips, and I can assure you they was NOT salt and pepper, they was 100% chilli. I did want some taste buds left after my food. For anyone reading this thinking on getting salt and pepper anything, be aware your tongue might start bleeding because of the spicyness. It’s ridicules. I may as well just bought a chilli for tea and eaten that. Even that probably would have been less spicy!!ended up having scrabbled egg on toast because I just couldn’t eat no more

Chicken curry was basically a tub full of oil & I felt like I had just eaten a vindaloo after trying just one of the salt and pepper chips.

Try some were diffrent if your looking for healthy food

Food is hot, nice and very quick delivery, main meals such as sweet and sour or satay have been a bit hit and miss , sometimes watery. Had a hair on chips in past. Chow mein is lush and the salt and pepper chips are always good! Any of the tofu meals are also delicious. Best eaten right away. Soups are great next morning. Okay Chinese 7/10
