Hong Kong House Takeaway Food in Wrexham

Never had a bad meal from here ... Hong Kong special chop suey fried rice is and was absolutely gorgeous.....

Cant go wrong with this place. Reasonably priced too. Kung po chicken was beautiful. Prawn toast nice and crispy. Rice nice and freshly done. Recommend

Closed at short notice random days which is disappointing for people who love the food and have made plans with family. Another night of trying to get another meal together at short notice.

We used to come here regularly, but it’s so bad now compared to what it used to be. One one occasion the rice had a very strong chemical taste. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but the next time, some of the chicken tasted the same and my husband was sick as soon as he tried it. Needless to say we won’t be going here again. It’s also interesting that they can no longer be found on the Food Standards website, as they always used to be on there.

Used this take away often in the past and its been ok. This visit though was disappointing. 5 meals lacked any flavour whatsoever. I didn’t recognise the staff and so assumed it may have changed hands, in any event it was poor and we will avoid now for a good while.

Collected a meal tonight, literally drove 5 minutes up the road, tucked into it as soon as I got home, 2 mouthfuls and it went straight in the bin! Absolutely disgusting!

Brilliant as usual, lovely food never a complaint and always greeted with a lovely big smile.

Absolutely vile. Will never order from here again the hot and sour soup taste like nothing but vinegar. Rice was under cooked and prawn toast was pathetic and soggy

Horrendous waiting time. One cook, one taking orders, phone ringing constantly and lady saying, yeah, 30 minutes. Then there was a queue as everyone coming at once!!

Salt and pepper chips needed more seasoning and more chilli, battered chicken was slightly over cooked but the singapore chow mein was great the best I have had in a few years

Go here regularly. Always good food, decent price & good service. It's popular so a wait is often the norm, worth waiting for though.

First time we have tried this place tonight and got to say its the best chinese takeaway food we have had for ages. I would say its the best in Wrexham at the moment. We will definetley be ordering again from here! Lovely food.

So not only did they completely mess up our order, which when I rang about the lady who answered was totally rude and made no apologies, we then found a hair in one of the meals, dont waste ur time, this used to be one of the nicest takeaways around what a massive disapointment

Get a takeaway for here most paydays as a payday treat and I look forward to it all month. Highly recommend to others and run by a lovely family too. Always very friend and welcoming!

Love this takeaway, always busy fantastic food

Fast friendly service, Orders can be placed on phone before collection. Easy parking available. Also they do the best curry sauce in Wrexham, chicken curry is proper chicken not cubes, and the chips are always spot on. Ask them for Salt and Vinegar because their vinegar always tastes better. Not open on Mondays though

Hong Kong house new Broughton are the worst takeaway I have ever dealt with in this town! Gave driver wrong order, you know name and time wasn't enough apparently! What's worse refused to refund for their mistake? We've had this happen with other restaurants who've been more than happy to sort out their mistake and in some cases have even provided the customers who've fallen foul of their mistakes with free meals Needless to say they are now banned from the We Deliver service They have now offered for us to collect the unwanted food and £10 In a bid to cut my loses I have accepted and taken the food to the homeless shelter

It was just OK nothing special. Think we will be shopping around other local takeaways andnwont be rushing back

The special fried rice is amazing! chicken pork,big juicy prawns and a fried egg all served in a delicious sauce it's the best I've ever tasted

I only ever use this Chinese takeaway in the Wrexham area. Food is always freshly made, served hot and always tasty. They will also ammend meals if needs be (if your a fussy eater that doesn't like onions etc) Always friendly staff and warm welcome. Never had a bad takeaway from there. Top grub
