Lovely little Italian restaurant in Craig y Don. Food was excellent. Piping hot and full of flavour. Portion sizes were just about right, so we didn't leave the restaurant feeling uncomfortable. Only criticism is, like all other Italian/Indian restaurants, drinks were expensive. Would definitely recommend.
Called in here as our 1st choice, The Cottage Loaf was closed as the staff were out having their Christmas party.
The restaurant was not that busy, 16 people tops, but after taking our food order, the staff seemed to evaporate into thin air.
Sea food linguine was well overcooked, well past "al dente" the clams appeared to be empty and the sauce tasted artificial. Wife's risotto was, however "nice".
We would have had a dessert or coffee but due to staff evaporation, we paid at the bar for what we had and left.
Should have tried the Greek restaurant downstairs.
Will not return.
Food isnt very nice, Mouldy Chips, Welsh rarebit is to tangy, waiting times can also be very long, dirty plates cups and cutlery. I guess the chicken goujons were alright, bit dry though
We stayed here for 2 nights just before NYE. We were welcomed with a glass of wine each which was a lovely and unusual touch and much appreciated. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and rooms seemed very new and in excellent condition. The location and views are stunning.
I always go back to this cafe whenever i’m in the King Street/Portland area. It never disappoints. The vibes are good, there is enough seating when it’s not crazy busy of course and the coffee is just immaculate.
What a spot discovered by accident after a hard day's graft, and wandered in . Lovely staff and locals are very friendly, loads of doggeens, the beer is on point, clean fresh, would give ten
stars. Interior very clean, old worlde establishment, Ina little dip on the hillside, well worth a visit with regular public transport to get you from LLandudno to Prestatyn. Try the Aber Falls whiskey and the hand pulled ales . Had a really nice pint of Abbott.
What a gem of a campsite. Stayed in mid February in our campervan on a hard standing with EHU. Facilities are immaculate and heated. Fabulous hot showers. We didn’t eat in the pub but had some drinks. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The menu looked good and reasonably priced. Surprised at how many people were using the campsite - four tents, four campervans and a caravan on a wet and windy February mid week. We’ll definitely come again.
