We stayed here for 2 nights just before NYE. We were welcomed with a glass of wine each which was a lovely and unusual touch and much appreciated. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and rooms seemed very new and in excellent condition. The location and views are stunning.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings with Conwy 5 minutes drive away. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I would recommend a stay at this hotel to anyone, and I'm sure I'll be back again. So thank you to Emma and the team for making our stay a memorable one.

We have recently returned from a fabulous two night mini break. This is a wonderful find; a small hotel with beautiful views just outside Conwy. It is far enough away to provide a peaceful escape after a day’s sightseeing but close enough for easy access to all of the local attractions, especially those in Conwy. The staff were really attentive through out our stay, with nothing being too much trouble. The welcome drink was gratefully received. Charlotte, Grace, Mia and Niamh were professional but still personable with their own personalities coming through. Very easy to talk to and helped you settle in with ease. The owners have only been in charge for 9 months and have a clear vision of what they want to achieve, which can be clearly seen. We ate at the restaurant, and the food was sublime. The calamari is a must have starter! All produce is locally sourced. We had breakfast each morning which consisted of a continental style buffet as well as a good choice of home-cooked hot food. Our room was clean, light and airy with ample room. It contained a good selection of amenities including tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, a superb fan and even a steamer in the wardrobe in case your clothes were creased! The room also contained a tablet which provided us with information about the local area tourist attraction deals that are linked to your stay at the hotel as well as information about the hotel. The bathroom was spacious and it contained a great selection of locally sourced toiletries. We would like to thank everyone for a wonderful stay and we are already planning when we will return.

The manor and its staff deserves the 5 stars. We booked this as we could see it was secluded and would be a great retreat to unwind. The views around were amazing. Clearly it was. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and offered a drink. Relaxed in the bar and unwind. Had a sea view room, which overlooks the car park and then beyond. Room was very nice and clean. The service in and around the hotel including the restaurant was excellent. Food and drink, from evening meal to breakfast was fab. They were so accommodating and helped meet dietary requirements as my wife (besides chicken) is mainly a veggie. So to please her pallet can be difficult. Every dish was fabulous. They saved a table for us, even though we hadn't booked, since we were staying with them. The restaurant was packed. We met people who own their lodges and static caravans in the park and then used the bar and restaurant. We have been so pleased with this place that there's nothing we can say to fault them. Happy to be staying here again.

We had a two night stay in early October. The Hotel has the apearnce of an old Manor but has been beatifully refurbished by mainting the old style with up to date facilities and technology in the room. Our lovely view was over the estaury. We had dinner on both evenings plus the breakfasts. For the latter the usual buffet of cereals, juices, fruit etc was available plus an interesting selection of served hot dishes. The full English was fullsome and well presented without being pretentious. The Dinner menu as well as standard items also had a variety of interesting specials and combinations also thoughtfully presented. The staff were very welcoming and sociable without being intrusive. The whole experience was one of the best two nghts stays we have experinced and would have no hestitaion in making further stays if we are in the area.

A group of 13 people decided to try the Manor or Sunday Lunch, and we were not disappointed. As soon as you pass through the barrier you enter utter tranquillity with stunning views. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by Neil (owner) and his son and the team who looked after us all for the duration of the afternoon. We were not required to Pre-order (normal or larger groups) and we placed the order with staff who managed to get everybody's meal correct with no issues. The quality of the food was some of the best in the area and they do the hotel and restaurant proud, all the meats were perfectly cooked, with plenty of Veg for all. Good Quality wines were had with very reasonable prices. Overall an excellent meal with no complaints from anyone, good food and wine and service to match. Thoroughly recommended, and will return for sure.

A month plus passed from our visit and I still remember it as a highlight of our trip. What a fantastic surprise, the rooms (we stayed in 4 of them, all fantastic), the restaurant and mainly the top service! If I can only give one tip, for midday drinks, if there can be some extra food (aside from crisps and bars) it would have made for heaven. We stayed 3 nights (planned for 1), enjoyed the hospitality, views and service.

Just Wonderful! Sep 2024 It took us forty three years of marriage to arrive at the Manor Boutique Hotel which, although more than worth it, we wished that it had been sooner. Having said that, the new owners have only been in residence since March this year (2024) and so the experience may have been a little different. For us, we were treated handsomely to fine dining, quality accommodation, ambience and above all else, the warm hospitality of all who looked after us. There was our charming hostess, Mrs Rowlands, who we met, believing she was part of the housekeeping staff making up the rooms, only to find out that she was the owner - and I suggested she should have a pay rise! There was Charlotte, feisty and forthright, yet with a warm and kind sympathetic touch and a lovely sense of humour. Elsie, Nottingham bound, bright as a button and very articulate, ready to take on Business Management believing that men have had it too good for too long - she maybe right. The food was of top quality, simple yet carefully prepared and moreish. Portions were just right and the cost very reasonable. Wine was excellent with mark ups far less than most hotels of this type. All in all, a special couple of days with a special lady, my wife, and a very special team at the Manor. Try them - you will not be disappointed Written 6 September 2024

Beautifully refurbished rooms (with modern appliances e.g. touch-sensitive bathroom mirror and bedside lamps with built-in USB chargers), nice big comfy bed, smart TV & clothes steamer. Very friendly & helpful service (the hotel had only been open for 5 weeks when we went in June 2024) with a special shout out to Ashely who was so helpful in allowing a slightly earlier breakfast and packed lunch for our trip to Snowdon. Lovely terrace and bowls lawn with a beautiful view overlooking the river and countryside. Great breakfast (croissants, eggs/full English/avocado on toast etc) and delicious dinner (with things like seabass / lamb / lobster bisque special, eton mess etc). The hotel is a 5-8min drive from Conwy and we used it as a base for accessing Snowdonia (~45min drive from Snowdon. We had a car which made it easy to pop into Conwy for dinner on the nights we didn't dine at the hotel restaurant).

The recently refurbished rooms opened at the beginning of May. The quality and attention to detail of this work is excellent and of the highest standard. But, a hotel is more than bricks and mortar. The experience of staying here is enhanced by the people running it. The friendliness of the welcome was the warmest we have experienced and this continued throughout our stay. The breakfast is excellent as was the dinner especially the Moroccan cauliflower. Finally, don't be put off if you think the hotel is on a "caravan site". Gorse Hill is landscaped, well maintained and dog free. It does not detract from the hotel.

The service was excellent, the food was amazing- all four of us had 3 courses, various dishes and could not fault anything. The fillet steak was mouth wateringly delicious and the monkfish goujons were a welcome surprise on the specials menu and were equally delicious. Absolutely outstanding. Our visit was shortly after the venue changed hands so at that time they were offering a tapas menu. Absolutely delicious and there were plenty of options for everyone, including me (vegetarian) but they also took the trouble to offer off menu options which was a lovely touch but not necessary as I had already found a large selection of options. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The venue is beautiful and set in lovely grounds. I'd have no issue whatsoever recommending The Manor and will definitely be returning.

We have always loved the manor and so when we seen it was closed we were gutted but couldn’t wait to book in once we seen it had reopened. We were slightly worried that, being under new ownership, we’d be disappointed but we definitely weren’t. We both went for a starter off the tapas options - crab parcels & the chorizo - these were phenomenal, the best starter i’ve ever had and we will definitely be back to try the full tapas menu. For mains we both had the steak off the specials which was again, amazing. The chips were cooked perfectly and the peppercorn sauce was full of flavour. For desserts we had the eton mess & brownie which we would highly recommend. The service was brilliant, the staff were so helpful, efficient and really friendly and so the atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. This place is immaculate vibes and I cannot wait to come back again soon.

Enjoyed another beautiful Sunday lunch here today...always feels like " home from home". Always excellent service from the lovely staff team. We are pleased to see that the new way of presenting the Sunday lunch is to include fresh seasonal vegetables as part of the meal...on the plate. We always felt guilty for sending back unfinished vegetables cooked to perfection as the quantity was always so much. Today we actually ate all of the vegetables served on our plates and no waste...much better and still excellent value. We happily ordered a portion of their delicious red cabbage at the small charge shown on the menu. Looking forward to our next visit.

We visited last Sunday and was disappointed with the meal. Next to no veg (1 half carrot) and no broccoli , instead was given what looked like unseasoned salad ? We were tempted by the cauliflower cheese which was so tasteless and bland. £3.50 for 4 undercooked cauliflower with next to no cheese at all!!Disappointing. The mash was also distasteful which was disappointing especially as it’s now an added cost. I was served 3 tiny baby potatoes ? The veggy gravy was also lumpy and needed a stir before serving. On the other hand, the meat and roast potatoes are very tasteful. On previous visits, what stood out and impressed the most was the generous amount of food served especially the sharing bowl of vegetables. It seems to have now changed and now get the minimal amount of vegetables. (1 carrot and bit of what looks like salad and small handful of green beans). Unfortunately due to last weeks visit and the lack of food you now seem to get we will not be returning. It’s such a shame because the restaurant is lovely and all the staff are too.

Hard to put words to how beautiful the exterior and interior of The Manor was. I went with my fiancé, his mother, and her boyfriend. My English fiancé suggested I order the Sunday roast. Ordered mine pink and it was so tender and flavorful and the gravy went perfectly with it. Said their gravy was gluten free. Awesome. Roasted vegetables are easy to love, but my favorite was the roast carrots and red onions. He ordered the bream and salmon. I picked off his plate; though I hadn't had bream before, I preferred it to the salmon which was still great. He had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which is Not gluten free, but I just had to try some. Delicious. Afterwards, we walked a little bit around the green which has another gorgeous view of the Welsh countryside.

She Ignored us which isn't the first time. We were uncomfortable and felt so awkward and unwelcome that it would put us off returning. A warm welcome is essential and to have to watch whilst members of staff were openly critiscised and barked at was disgusting. The manor was empty on a Saturday lunchtime which we were not surprised at if thats the atmosphere you create. You will never keep staff or attract repeat custom behaving like this.

Had tea here this evening with my brother and family. First time we had been and I'm glad my brother recommended it. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. Really tasty, all 3 courses, I'm still stuffed! Nothing was too much trouble for them, really nice and a great end to the day.

What a spot discovered by accident after a hard day's graft, and wandered in . Lovely staff and locals are very friendly, loads of doggeens, the beer is on point, clean fresh, would give ten stars. Interior very clean, old worlde establishment, Ina little dip on the hillside, well worth a visit with regular public transport to get you from LLandudno to Prestatyn. Try the Aber Falls whiskey and the hand pulled ales . Had a really nice pint of Abbott.
