The best restaurants in North Wales

Christmas meal was delivered with everything on the plate . Would prefer veg coming separately.

I now know why it's called Hungrys - we ordered at around 6.40pm and following four phone calls we received the order at 9pm having been told to expect our delivery by 7.10pm. The food was cold and had been reheated to the point that parts of it was rock hard. The delivery driver didn't even have the decency to apologise for the delay. So having unwrapped our delivery and tried it, it was cold, horrible and given to the dogs, leaving us, yes you've guessed it, still HUNGRY! Never again!

We had a family meal here last sunday, food was excellent we all had the roast dinner, the service was great highly recommend

Long long wait infact it was over 1 hour before we received any food then it was our main course our starters never turn up ( with no explanation) wasn't offered any condiments and no one came back to check if everything was ok. Was put in a table in the reception area not the dining room which I had book. Certainly not the right way to be running a place. Be honest with your customers if there's a problem or a wait for food.

Really good full English breakfast with great local sausage and bacon.

I have been going here for many years whilst camping in the area. Yes it is run down and untidy, but the food has always been good. Tonight they asked for cash, which we didn't have so they had to relent and we paid by card, so what was the issue? We had to ask for a receipt and were given a hand written one. All this has left us a bit uncomfortable and we have decided we won't be going again.

Terrible I had no money left and they cancelled my order. 3/5 day money return that’s if they even did it. Awful they’re!

Wow yeh haa thought I was in a western bar… plenty of turn a blind eye by bar staff and door staff, just google their door staff company nuff said

Really enjoyed our food. Mostly tasted great, not too salty or greasy. Satay wasn’t very nutty that was the only dish that was a bit weak. Nice staff and didn’t take long to pick up. It is cash only though they did let me do a bank transfer as I was visiting and had no bank card.

We had wanted to try here for something to eat for a while but just never got round to it . We called in bank holiday Saturday and was surprised to find it rather quite . A small choice of meals but all looked very nice and very well priced . I chose the liver onion , gravy and mashed potato my wife had the homemade steak pie and chips . Both were freshly prepared which we were informed by the landlady who was lovely even signing along to one of the songs playing in the background so nice to hear people happy in their job . The meals arrived piping hot and large portions . Both meals were lovely and with homemade gravy with both . 2 meals plus 2 large cokes under £20 bargain We will definitely be back for something to eat soon and although a bit quite today I got the feeling it would be a great pub and atmosphere when busy as such we will definitely be calling for a drink sometime as well .

Our food was delivered on a Friday evening within a great time, piping hot which in our experience unheard of in RHYL…Fantastic value for money and the food amazing… 10/10 prawn toast!… a hidden gem and I’d highly recommend!
