We had our 25th wedding anniversary here.it was a fantastic venue.the staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough.we provided our own food and they provided the bar.couldnt fault it.
Ordered take away breakfast, waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for delivery and didnt add any mushrooms which i Paid for. Food was ok but I feel if your cant deliver inisde of an hour you should not be accepting orders.
Feeling hungry, ordered lunch after twenty minutes after ordering was informed the the kitchen was closed. Had a servery downstairs ordered two hot dogs at £10 each, waited another twenty minutes, only to be served two very luke warm hot dogs. very disappointed overall, nice venue, poor service.
This food is so disgusting and I threw up after eating it, I don't think this place should be running because looking at the reviews people are also having the same problem I hope the owners see these reviews or are they that heartless they don't care what happens if you see this review PLEASE don't buy anything you genuinely might get ill afterwards, anyway: the food was cold soggy and greasy the drinks was warm so they must of been on a shelve the salad on the kebab was so non existent you'd think there wasn't any 10' margarita was so potent in tomato sauce TL:DR horrible food
KEEP CLEAR.
Very disappointed indeed. Chop suey roll tasteless had hardly no meat and not one prawn in sight. Chips as if they had been re cooked. Curry like jelly. Other two meal as in sweet and sour Hong Kong tastless and carrots uncooked. Chomein had no taste. The only thing that pleased us was the prawn crackers. Pot noodle would have been more appetising. Lucky house from now on.
Really enjoyed our food. Mostly tasted great, not too salty or greasy. Satay wasn’t very nutty that was the only dish that was a bit weak. Nice staff and didn’t take long to pick up. It is cash only though they did let me do a bank transfer as I was visiting and had no bank card.
We had wanted to try here for something to eat for a while but just never got round to it .
We called in bank holiday Saturday and was surprised to find it rather quite .
A small choice of meals but all looked very nice and very well priced .
I chose the liver onion , gravy and mashed potato my wife had the homemade steak pie and chips .
Both were freshly prepared which we were informed by the landlady who was lovely even signing along to one of the songs playing in the background so nice to hear people happy in their job .
The meals arrived piping hot and large portions .
Both meals were lovely and with homemade gravy with both .
2 meals plus 2 large cokes under £20 bargain
We will definitely be back for something to eat soon and although a bit quite today I got the feeling it would be a great pub and atmosphere when busy as such we will definitely be calling for a drink sometime as well .
