Chopstix in Denbighshire

Stumbled across Chopstix Rhyl and made up one of my favourite noodle bars, service was fantastic, and food was fresh.

Very tasty food and good amount. The staff are very helpful and hygienic

I had an online delivery, it was my first time using this company. Firstly the driver had no knowledge of my address and I had to go find him, the food was cold and the quality was awful, I won’t be ordering again in a hurry

Excellent battered cod, very good value

Paid almost £4 for some salt and pepper potato bites to get a tiny tub with 2 wedges in and a few bream beans which mainly tasted of salt, salt and pepper chicken just tasted of freeze and salt and was a little amount, the ‘egg’ fried rice was just fried rice with no egg and it was cold, clumped together and chewy and crispy and tasted rank, The caramel chicken also tasted rank and was a small amount with barely any sauce to go with the rice. Wasted money as I havnt even eaten the rice or caramel chicken. Churros and caramel drizzle dip were the only good part, they were delicious. Not worth £21 expecially for the portion size.

Food was okay, noodles were overcooked and very dry though. Probably wouldn't order again but the churros were great

I came here for the first time on Tuesday 13/02/24 as I'd been recommended by my friends. The staff were very helpful and gave us help with what to pick. I enjoyed the Chinese Chicken Curry, the Firecracker Chicken, the Caramel Chicken and the BBQ Chicken which I highly recommend everybody to try. The building is modern, spacious and accessible to all. Overall I highly recommend you to eat here. Cheers, Chopstix!

Love going here but dissapointed that they dont do gluten free food for my partner and also when i was there the other day was told the arent doing the caramel drizzle anymore . Thats all i can eat @ the moment as have allergies to the other stuff . Also what happened to the katsu curry that you was doing . Sort your menu out please

Sorry but I went tonight at 5pm hardly no food and it's tasting very different the noodkes taste strange,not like it used to be when first opened Gutted won't be going again the photo is the waste im bining.

1st time visiting tonight. Our local Chopstix is in Rhyl. Staff were really friendly & helpful 😁 We got a Large box with 3 toppings. All of it was very tasty & there's more in the box than it looks. Don't forget to download the app we got free spring rolls for signing up. Blue light discount too. Will definitely be back!

Really nice food and nice staff

Very poor didnt get half of my order with the MVB box for 2 on the receeit they only marked off the items they delivered

Went in for some dinner, Ordered a Value meal. The staff seem unfamiliar with the menu and very inexperienced. The noodles were dry and bland, they were formed together like they'd been sat under a heat lamp for 5 hours. The chicken was bland and chewy. The restraunt it's self had a nice modern look upon entering but it seems like everyone there needs more training and the food needs to be fresh.

The sweet and sour is so bitter that we had to put nearly £30 worth of food in the bin. Massive shame because the other dishes are great

Absolutely horrible food, would never order again. I knew I shouldn’t have ordered from a place with a 2 food hygiene rating. Bland food, my car carpet would taste better. Staff was nice however. Tiny portions for what we paid and dry noodles and the rice tastes microwaved.

Saw this place a few weeks back but couldn't stop by at the time, decided to stop by there earlier today with my mum. The venue itself is warm, welcoming and well-kept. Personally, I think it's pretty cool being able to watch the staff prepare the food from the seating area. The staff were very helpful, patient and informative, and since it was our first time ordering food there they helped walk us through the process. The only hard part was trying to narrow down which toppings we wanted. In the end, we both got medium box meals, though I had the caramel drizzle chicken and the sweet & sour chicken with egg fried rice and an orange tango, while mum got the teriyaki beef and caramel drizzle chicken with vegetable noodles and a cherry pepsi max - we also both got three duck spring rolls with firepit mayo dips each. And oh...my...GOD!!! The food was utterly DELICIOUS! Words cannot describe how good the food was. The medium box was surprisingly filling, despite not looking like 'a lot', and full of flavour - just the right amount for lunch. We both tried some of everything and, while it was all very good, we both agreed that the teriyaki beef was the best! The spring rolls were just right, perfectly crispy and had just the right amount of filling without splitting the pastry. Overall, we spent less than £20 for both of the amazingly tasty meals - and ended up taking some of the spring rolls home because of how filling the box meals were. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, and (next time we're in the area) we will be coming here again!

Try and cook the food first raw rice ,table are disgusting.

We decided to give chopsticks noodle bar a try as they showed an impressive menu. On arrival we opened the bag only to find 3 items ordered weren’t in the bag. I rang to ask where the food items were and we were told we could go into the restaurant and get them. I said there was a reason why we had delivery. Considering we spent £38 the food was cold and more rice than curry. No starters or dips they were missing! Wouldn’t refund as said we ordered through just eat so therefore nothing they could do they also advised us don’t have a driver and the staff are still learning! What a joke! WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN!!

Absolutely vile customer service Do not order from here!!!! Ordered from here and spent £40 to get our food and find items missing and told to go and collect the missing items Food was cold on arrival and they said they will do better next time!! Said we weren’t able to get a refund or anything because we ordered through just eat!!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Will never order from here again!!!

Ordered through Just Eat, arrived cold, missing items, wrong items, called chopstix direct and was told to either go to the restaurant and collect missing items or claim refund through Just Eat! Portions are tiny, pots of sauce were only just about a quarter full, 2 different types of chicken when all we ordered was salt and pepper chicken, rice arrived instead of noodles. Prawn crackers pre packed and not cooked fresh. Noodles were tasteless. Was really looking forward to trying this place but honestly i will never order from here again.

First time going in yesterday 14th of October, absolutely gorgeous food the staff are so helpful and friendly thankyou so much for explaining the different sizes and portions, The salt and pepper chicken, beef tariaki, caramelised chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour prawns, bbq chicken, noodles and rice all lovely highly recommended and already recommended to alot of our friends! Great quality and fantastic value for money!!!!!

My wife wanted to try this noodle bar but was unsure because of its mixed reviews. But I believe you should always see for yourself. We visited it at around 6pm on a friday. Place was welcoming and clean we looked at the menu and made our choice my wife ordered medium noodles with sweet and sour chicken and went for the large box with rice and noodles with 3 toppings. But when I looked at the noodles left in the tray they looked like they was all burnt, dry, and stuck together so asked the girl serving me that I want fresh noodles from what was being cooked behind her and she said would you have these ones instead as she didn't want to waste them so I reply that I want the fresh ones behind you, so she spoke to another member of staff and he decided to let me have fresh ones and binned the old ones. We sat at a table and my wife opened her box to find her noodles was horrible they was dry and stuck together so I took them back and asked for them to be swapped for fresh ones which he did straight away. Overall when fresh and hot they are quite nice but I think for this place to get better reviews they need to stop cooking noodles in advance and cook them in front of you when you place the order to stop them drying out and sticking together, the place has potential to be quite good as the toppings was very nice.

Tried once a few weeks a go and was impressed, tried again tonight..service is slow and you stand there waiting awkwardly for ages. I ordered rice and caramel drizzle chicken, rice was dry and crispy so had obviously been sat there all day. My partner asked for rice but there was none left so had noodles. I tried the noodles and they again were awful and had congealed together and the chicken she had was dry and awful. We left most of it as I had a train to catch, they need to have more choices ready at 5.30pm on a Friday as everything wa1s empty. Waste of money and won't be going again.

£9.70 medium meal, Dry, bland, noodles The toppings just sit in a pan with no lids on all day, so the sauce drys up. Small portion for the price, wouldn't bother going👎🤷‍♂️

Food was terrible, egg fried rice tasted like uncle Ben's express rice, noodles tasted like oil, churros couldn't be saved with the drop of sauce it came with, at first I accidentally thought I'd placed a handful of gravel in my face. But what I will say is the presentation was phenomenal, perfectly disguised the quality of food I was recieving. Can of tango was warm but bang on, was a can of tango. Next time I want to pay 40 quid for a disappointment I'll pay for tickets for the next man United game.....good job I don't like my dog hopefully the leftovers get him....well I tried even he turned his nose up at it....

Once again very dissatisfied with their response to a non just eat delivery. Told it wasn’t their problem as food had been dispatched but not received. Just eat said they will look into it (I hold my breath). I might be one customer you don’t care about but I hope other customers will read and think again about using your delivery service. Not very pleased!!!!!!

Just had a delivery. 1st time and last. Went for the 2 person meal. For the base, we both choose noodles they were very cool. Then the 2 toppings my partner choose 2 types of chicken they were nice but warm. I paid 50p extra to have teriyaki beef. My god the portion I could of picked it all up with a teaspoon, and chicken, that was nice but warm.who ever cooks the prawn crackers and spring rolls needs a lesson In cooking them. The prawn crackers not fully cooked and hard (inedible) the spring rolls were dark brown and rock hard too (inedible) then we choose a sauce each we both went for curry. It was the basic Chinese curry from a chip chop but it was like dish water, so thin and warm. (Inedible) Also we choose a can each. These were warm. Haa. This place has only been open a few weeks the management need to get in there and sort this place out before it flops.

MVB box was delicious. Food was hot when delivered and portion size just enough for one. Incredibly tasty too.

First time trying Chopstix and it won’t be my last! Amazing food, service a bit slow however it’s a new store and I can imagine the staff are still getting to grips with things. There were also a lot of people waiting at the time however the wait was well worth it!! I highly recommend the Chinese Chicken Curry, chicken just falls apart! The noodles are to die for! Salt and Pepper Chicken and Teriyaki Beef were gorgeous also! Much cheaper then going to the Chinese and a lot nicer too!

So called manager rude and no customer skills wouldn't give his name and he put the phone down I called because missing items food was cold undercooked soggy batter chicken dry was bland rice was microwaved was cold and in clumps very dry and bland told no refund for missing items so steal your money won't be going back overpriced tiny portions microwaved food no thanks learn some customer skills

Overrated place and a rip off. small portions. My rice was hard and cold felt like it wasn’t cooked. The staff inside were miserable and rude. All the pots of meat and noodles are tiny proper waste of money and nothing child friendly. won’t go again

Quite a few of the toppings were unavailable when I called in about 30 mins ago. The young lady who served me offered me some kind of meal deal but didnt have a clue what she said. After saying pardon to her twice I still didnt know what she was saying. Please ask your staff ti speak more clearly ...not garbled under their breath. Went to pay by card...my total was £7.25...cashier tapped the amount owing into her side of the till and told me to tap my card on my side but at no point could I see how much I was tapping my card to pay for. Could have been £72.50 or £725.00 for all I knew. When questionned she just said its £7.25....so lets just hope she never makes a mistake and keys in the wrong amount. Also very reluctant to hand over a receipt so that I could check what I'd just spent. Food mediocre...very stodgy. Wont bother going again.

Ordered a delivery which was late and missing items so called the store and spoke to a young boy who didn’t give his name but said he was the manager and he was extremely rude and immature. They didn’t apologise for the bad service and missing items. I don’t normally go to places that haven’t had a food hygiene rating yet but I won’t be going back unfortunately.

First time visiting and the food was great! Definitely worth the money. I will be going back again for sure!

Aeroplane food!!! absolute pants! stupid small portions, that beautiful plate of potatoes you see comes in a tiny tub that your local Chinese will serve sauce in, you will get under a quarter of a potato, £32 tonight 👎 anyway good luck whoever orders from here, it might be for you but not for me, not for that price, not very tasty until you put the sauce on like I said aeroplane food, shame I was really looking forward to chopstix! And may I add why do chopstix say noodle bar when there is only one flavour of noodles they serve? 🤔🙄 oh yeah never received my spring rolls I paid for or my free spring rolls for my first order, really chopstix 👎

Had my first chopstix experience today ..omg it was so delicious defo want more, just a shame there isn't one near stoke 😔 ...defo will be going again 😁 when I get the opportunity to x ....omg update I've found a local chopstix 😁😁😁😁😁 x

The woman who served us both times we’ve been Pip was amazing. She is so kind and friendly with really great fast service. Would definitely recommend for a friend!

Always our first choice of place to eat on a day out and now there is one on our doorstep , we have visited here on a few occasions now and have always recieved lovely, friendly customer service and food is always lovely regardless of how busy it is, I can definitely recommend chopstix rhyl.

I have ordered from Chopstix twice now, once eating in and once delivery through Uber eats. The service can be a little slow because they are pretty busy on the weekends but it is worth the wait as the food is great. Top tip, portions are bigger if you eat in! 😉

Delicious food with a good selection, served by friendly staff, would highly recommend. Definitely coming again.

There was a lad in Rhyl chopstix named Josh he was amazing kind new what he was doing helping me chose my food and helping other staff thay needed his help.He always had a smile and with all that,that's what made my day.Wish he could stay at Rhyl Chopstix so thank you very much Josh

Been twice since its opening and both times staff were exceptional. Service was friendly and helpful and efficient even during their first few days of opening when people we're queuing non stop the staff continued to smile and help each customer with questions. The food is perfect, chicken is the best part ofcourse. The tables and areas we're all clean and constantly clear. Prices were fair and good range of portions Well done to the staff.

I love food and I was really excited about a new place to eat opening up in Rhyl so had high hopes expectations. I went in last week for a large noodles and rice box with three toppings and was convinced to get a meal deal (spring rolls and a drink). The food was pretty luke warm and soggy tasting but decided maybe first week of being open so gave it another shot. Today I went in and had two different people on the counter serve me and then at the till four (!!!) different people change just during me standing there and it was so all over the place! I asked what the different meal deal options where as the paper menu didn't really give prices and the I was told the go large option was for delivery only (even though the TV was displaying that option too so why would it do that if its for delivery only? Who's seeing that on the TV if they are having it delivered?). So this time around I got another large meal with three toppings, spring rolls, drinks, Katsu curry and five churros. Again the food was still in the luke warm area and not very tasty. The Katsu was actually nice and you get a good amount for 50p. The churros were disgusting. They were cold, anemic (actually looked like mashed potatoes) and the two sauces (chocolate and coffee) vile. We actually binned them they were that nasty. This food is priced higher than McDonald's and you expect to enjoy it but this will be the second and last time I go here which is a shame becasue I'm all for new exciting food placed in Rhyl but you really shouldn't leave thinking a weathers would have been a better use of money spent. Also I know it's new and staff might not be fully trained but damn the staff just didn't seem to know what they were doing. I'm still shocked that when I stood at the till a woman smiled at me then asked a colleague to jump on, he did and apologised saying he hadn't done it before, I the aske about the meal deal he said he didn't know and ask someone else to explain and this time another woman jumped on the till started doing my order but the added a friends food on mine, when she said just the two boxes I said no it's just mine, she then got a fourth person to take over the till and correct it all!

Was really looking forwards to trying chopstix, the food looked really really nice and well presented but when I was actually eating it the noodles were really over cooked and like mush the rice was hard as hell and a couple of the chicken dishes had a weird taste on good note the spring rolls were lovely

The staff here are always friendly when I come in. Plus aswell it’s amazing value for the portions you get in each box. Plus you can go wrong with the churros or mini spring rolls and the sweet n sour chicken

The shop looks fantastic, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the manager was so lovely , never eaten at a chopsticks restaurant before, they were extremely busy with the shop being new , the food was well worth the wait, sweet and sour chicken was full of flavour and vegetable spring roll were delicious 👌

First time in here today and the atmosphere is great. Music is at the perfect volume. The staff were really nice. Very clean restaurant and lovely food.

Went in and was served pretty quickly noodles didn't taste good and I got little chicken for a medium meal the best part of the food for me was the spring rolls and the drinks which probably weren't made by them. overall not coming again

First time in Chopstix today and gotta say the steady line of eager customers waiting to get inside was worth the wait ( official launch day) and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The salt and Peper chicken topping is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience, hats off to you guys I'll deffo be returning and highly recommend!! Don't miss out

Food was shocking, fried rice and wedges were way undercooked. Chicken curry had no flavour at all, prawn crackers were hard. Only positive was the fast delivery, but I suppose it was so quick because nothing was cooked long enough. Won’t be going here ever again
