The best restaurants in North Wales

The menu looks fantastic, so we decided on our takeaway. My husband chose the ribs and I just fancied a portion of chips. The ribs were quite good but the best bit was the sauce, my chips were disgusting. They had a funny taste, some were hard and the rest ugh! The best bit was the salt.

Been here plenty of times, haven't been for 6 months. Large donner kebab was small, meat was thick and like it had been cooked way in advance. Chicken donner was like shwarma and not shredded chicken. Chicken wraps barely had any filling. Everything was luke warm. Cost 32 pounds and was definitely not worth it. Will not be returning. We nearly ordered the bala special at £15 which we normally do but thank goodness we never.

Alana is a scam artist. Sends damaged squashed and disgusting cakes and then refuses to refund, would not order again from these people

Had a lovely meal which was missing one bit of the order…contacted them and they sorted it straight away. Always had great food, highly recommended best kebab house in Rhyl

The cookies are very nice but don't go expecting a milkshake because there is always an excuse. One day the milkshake machine was broken and was told it would be fixed later that day, we went back the next day and was told we couldn't have a milkshake because they had no milk. However, there is a shop a 1 minute walk away from millies cookies.

On our way home from a weekend in Wales and we stopped here on a recommendation. From the minute I walked in my brain was screaming no! It was not looking the cleanest of places this may be because it is so dated inside with tatty furniture and dirty carpets but as it did have a 5 star hygiene to the entrance door and with my dad being diabetic and neededing food we went with it. We ordered three roast dinners and they arrived homemade but the veg was waterlogged and tasteless and I was pretty much not willing to take a chance of eating in here so waited for the parents to finish and made a quick exit. Only reason I put poor and not terrible was because the lady and her daughter that was about 10 that served us was very polite.

My go to chinese takeaway for 25 years, didnt realise i hadnt left a review... honestly its the best curry EVER... Would be my death row meal LOL!! i even visit twice a week recently rather than weekly, very accomidating with meals and allergies etc, the girls on the phone even know me and my order by name LOL! We ordered our food online and collected it . There are not enough words to describe how inedible the meals were . We ordered four burgers and one portion of onion rings. The only thing our whole family ate was the portion of onion rings . The beef burger was so overcooked that I was able to snap it in half . The chips were revolting bits of over fried chip remnants. The four boxes of food costing over £50 went in the bin uneaten . I contacted the owner who initially told me to retrieve the boxes and bring them to the take away the following Friday ….7 days later !! She was not available until then . I then received a subsequent text to tell me not to retrieve the boxes as they were now ‘contaminated’ . I was offered one free meal the following week . No thank you . Don’t waste your time, money or effort . Disgusting food and dreadful customer service .

Lovely refurbished pub, friendly bar staff, great beers , big seated outdoor area , entertainment weekends , dog/child friendly and very clean

This was the greatest experience I’ve ever had at a Cantonese style restaurant, incredible service with passion brought to the business, By my Cheung lord in Cheung heaven I would die for one more of those glorious Chow Mains - your sincerely A happy customer!

We called today (19/10/17), and after the fantastic greeting, even my Service dog, got a sausage. We chose Jacket potatoes (1 cheese and beans the other chilli and cheese) with side salad. The portions were sumptious and very filling, washed down with 2 big mugs of tea..Total cost £11.90. We have paid a lot more for less, the girls were very friendly, so this place gets a big thumbs up from us.

Muy grosero con los clientes. También abusó de mi hijo AUTISTA TDAH de 13 años porque le preguntó por qué su rollo de hotdogs estaba frío, a lo que luego le gritó diciendo que tiene una actitud y comenzó a burlarse de él en voz alta a los clientes y el muelle ocupado : ( Esto fue después de que él grosera y abruptamente gritara a un par de mujeres frente a nosotros diciéndoles que la que está ahí (puntos) después de ignorarlos a propósito y servir a otra persona primero sabiendo que estaban esperando, luego sarcásticamente dice bien has ordenado 🙄 Solo tenía cebolla cruda y bebidas calientes. Fue bastante grosero diciéndonos como si lo estuviéramos sacando a cocinar un poco más (había algo en la placa caliente) así que no comí pero 3 de nosotros lo hicimos bien, Cuando la comida finalmente llegó no era muy agradable en absoluto y la mayoría se desperdició.

Below average experience with raw donner meat, dry and hard pitta bread, hard and thin garlic bread. Same ingredients used as all the other kebabs in the area I’m not sure what makes this place special…..

Ok for a stop off didn’t order food as staff was overwhelmed with the amount of customers did manage to get a warm hot drink. Sadly the toilets were horrid and had all been closed for cleaning once the young lady opened them again they were still dirty and lacking toilet roll so made our way over the road to the public loos. Great views comfortable seating and that’s where it ends sadly.
