The Emperor in Wrexham

Recently moved back to Llay and was warned to avoid this place but called in last week and ordered a special curry the bloke behind the counter disappeared into the back and within two minutes returned with my order needless to say it hadn’t been freshly cooked I took my food home and started to eat it and found the prawns in it were cold as was some of the meat since then I’ve had a seriously bad stomach bug which has lasted over a week I just wish I had listened to everyone who told me not to eat from here

Ordered on opening night after them being closed for a fair few months, because of this it was very busy and took about an hour longer than expected to receive our food - Absolutely do not fault them for this however as they had a lot of orders to get through! Food was even better than I remember and more than worth the wait!! Definitely be ordering again in the near future.

We have not ordered from here for a long time pre Covid-19. The food was just as tasty tonight and the prices have hardly changed. We will definitely order fro here again soon.

Disgusting. I ordered some salt and pepper chicken from here at last minute along with my friend. I was eating away when I felt something inside of it, when I checked it appeared to be a hair imbedded into the batter. So imbedded in fact I could dangle the chicken piece holding it. I went back to raise concerns regarding hygiene for the women to attempt to deny it was a hair and said ‘it’s something, but not hair’ I continued to show it was clearly a hair and she continued to argue without even checking. Luckily I took a photo as she soon whipped it out of the chicken piece and chucked it on the floor, probably embarrassed as other customers were there. I wouldn’t normally write this if I’d have just received an instant apology but the fact I had to argue whether it was a hair or not and her just chucking it back out probably to sprinkle on more chicken later has given me no other alternative. 0 stars if it was possible..

Got a take away from the emperor as a treat. Chicken curry & rice, one box is enough for 2 people. Bit disappointed cos was chicken cubes & not the usual chicken. Don't think it's the same anymore & won't be calling again. Sorry guy's at the emperor. (Real chicken please).

Good food good prices ,good service and consistent ,friendly service aswell and always give crackers

We often have food from here when visiting our son in Llay,the food is always good,I love the chicken and mushroom curry, would recommend.

Always loved the food until I was off work ill for 3 days after eating from here..I was the only 1 in the house to eat from the emperor at the time so I know it was from here..

I went to the Emperor for a takeaway and really wish that I hadn’t. The portions were huge, but unfortunately the quality of the meal was pretty bad. I won’t be returning.

It does my favourite, sweet and sour king prawns, very well. What more could you want. It 's got parking and a good choice of the essential stuff so give it a go.

I ordered special fried rice with curry sauce and chips and there was enough to feed 4 people and we'll priced ,the food is OK not the best I have had from a Chinese but if you want a cheap meal it's fine

Over the past four months I have ordered different take-aways from here on three occasions. The menu is extensive, portions are very generous, foot is hot and served in plastic boxes, free crackers included in the carrier bag they supply. Service is swift but at peak times its best to order by phone and get an estimate of the time to collect. I have enjoyed every meal without a trace of any disappointment. Location is off the main road on the edge of a housing estate.

Best Chinese takeaway in Wrexham brilliant service , very reasonable we order a Chinese special and there's chicken, beef, pork in a lovely Chinese sauce .Thoroughly recommend , you just can't beat it .

Regularmente optar por un chino, un sábado por la noche y la comida de este restaurante es realmente delicioso.

Too much garlic by far and slimy onions yuk! Will avoid in future. Shame as it used to be excellent.

Se trata de dos años desde la última vez visitamos el Emperador y al entrar en los locales que se parece a la última vez fue limpiada. El suelo laminado es pegajosa de club nocturno y hay las telarañas en las luces de Navidad. También me di cuenta de que el certificado de seguridad está clasificado como un 3 (Por lo general satisfactoria) así que el área de cocina deben estar bien.

Nos come regularmente oír. Bueno es agradable hay mucho para elegir en el menú no se tarda mucho en llegar y a un precio razonable

We use this takeaway every month and we have never had a bad meal. The food is always hot and full of taste.
