The New Hoo Chung in Isle of Anglesey

This was the greatest experience I’ve ever had at a Cantonese style restaurant, incredible service with passion brought to the business, By my Cheung lord in Cheung heaven I would die for one more of those glorious Chow Mains - your sincerely A happy customer!

This is the worse meal I have ever picked up. The food was inedible. , chips were like they were leftover from the day before I have never had chow main like it ever the ribs were burnt and the maple syrup was that water down it was not syrup wish I could show you . I’ve had some hit and miss food as every one has but it has never prompted me to call the restaurant to complain ever . In fact this is the first ever review I have written,in my life. Don’t waste your money . The lady that answered the call did offer me a refund , so thank you for that ,I’m just can’t believe there serving this food or are allowed to.

Amazing chip shop food is absolutely spot on staff always lovely and very very cheap! Will only accept cash if you go but cash machine across the road Recommended there prawn toast and their curry omg to die for

Great value food, great portion sizes and will happily alter menu items at customers request. It's a family favourite.

Easily the best food for miles don't be put off buy the look of the outside cooked fresh excellent value for money

Love this place, its the only place i will eat a curry from. Have been going there since i was about 14yrs old, im now 62!

Had the Beef! Curry from here, Couldn't chew any of it so tough, we were so disappointed and felt it was of money! Been many times but unfortunately not going again.

Visted takeaway for food the best Chinese food in Llangefni. The staff are amazing friendly. With the current situation it is the most COVID safe takeaway in Llangefni . Absolutely awesome well worth visiting and trying the food.

Will never go to any other chinese, this is my absolute favourite, and my family’s favourite also. Always good quality food, great choice on menu, decent price, lovely staff.

He works two jobs to make ends meet; at least, that was his reason for not having time to join us. If Purple People Eaters are real... Where do they find purple people to eat? He told us a very exciting adventure story. Tom had a small piece of pie.

Ordered as we got there, food was cooked fresh, portions were large lacked in a little flavour (chicken and mushrooms) fried rice was excellent.

I am a regualar at Hoo chung and have never been dissapointed. I love the chow mein. The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. I can easily feed a family of 5 for less than £20 and still have change. The staff are very friendly too!

We had a take out and couldn't eat it as it was that terrible we phoned back and reodered something else and went back to pick it up and they even got that wrong!!!! I was real disappointed with it. Waited my money for crap food. Never going back there again.

Well let me get the bad stuff out of the way first . To be honest when you look at the shop from the road you think oh thats a bit rough.compared to the indian restaurants near by.but please over come the thought of walking away and go inside and order as this is possibly one of the best chinese on the island.the curry isnt too hot and spicy i would say it is just about right for average pallets if you like to set your mouth on fire maybe try elsewhere.good choice of starters and meals their chow maine is to die for.not literally lol.but like i said get over the scruffy appearance of the shop and i think this might be a regular on your list of where to eat .it is on mine anyway.
