We returned here after a couple of years and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the local ale and then a delicious Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived an hour before our booking but were seated in no time.
It is great to see people bringing their dogs in, dog treats were available on the bar along with special dog dinners!! Fantastic.
We didn't stay here,we were staying at other accommodation but we called in 3 times for food, drinks and breakfast on one of the mornings.Nice place, good food, great staff.Lovely views at the back of the hotel overlooking the valley.Nice seating areas.Plenty of parking which you do need to pay for,not expensive.Food and drink very well priced as you expect from a Weatherspoons. We found it clean and so we're the toilet facilities.Well worth popping in if your in the area.We would definitely go back.
Went in for a bit of food and to kill time.
Well the food has improved immensely, I had the gammon, best I've ever had, 2 eggs, at last someone knows how to cook an egg properly!. Great service friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere nothing jarring. Well worth the money food so good I had the lime dessert!! A good choice. Although busy didn't have to wait long. .
All staff good, Casey An absolute star:-)

Absolutely beautiful food. 6 of us ate. Two adults and 4 children. Chips were the best I’ve tasted. Crispy on the out side and soft on the inside. Only £31 with five drinks including 2 hot drinks.

We only went in for a cup of tea, waited ages and finally had to go in and fetch it no sign of the waitress. Cups and teapot not very clean. Used to be really good cafe but unfortunately we will not be going there again.
We arrived at 6.00pm for a Sunday roast and the restaurant was very quiet so we decided to sit in the bar. It took a while to get someone to take the order and we informed the server that my wife was gluten free and that was not a problem. The roast dinner arrived and we looked at the roast potatoes which were well over cooked and tasted like they had been in the oven or under a hot lamp for far to long, the Yorkshire pudding was also dry and crusty. The dinner at best was Luke warm and my wife sent hers back to be heated up in a microwave.
For the price of £17.95 it should of all been fresh and hot.
We had been traveling most of the day so we were hungry and ate most of the dinner but we were very disappointed.
The bar prices were also high £5.80 for a pint of cider.
We have eaten here in the past and always found the food very good but will not be visiting again.
Awful, Awful, avoid at all cost, went in and nobody was in there, that should have set alarm bells ringing, but we were hungry, so decided to stay, I asked if they had red wine, the lady behind the bar said I’ll check as we were waiting a delivery, she came back with a bottle which I recognised from Aldi, Grapevine Merlot, £4.19 at Aldi, they charged £18, they removed the label at the back of the bottle.
I ordered a 12oz Gammon steak, with chips and peas, tbh, the gammon was that thin it would have blown off my plate if sat outside, think that was from Aldi too.
Lesson learned !!!
Whilst visiting Bala we planned on having some food and found this place which was dog friendly and appeared to be serving food in the bar as there were menus placed on the tables as well as condiments and cutlery.
I ordered drinks at the bar from a young lad who wasn’t rude, but not particularly welcoming either, then sat down to view the menu and decide what we’d like to order.
Decisions made, I returned to the bar to be told that they weren’t serving food until later in the day. Whilst this wasn’t too much of an issue, had I known I wouldn’t have bothered ordering drinks and gone somewhere else.
I do think that if they’re not serving food at that time then the menus should be removed from the table or at least have something visible to indicate what times food is served.
My visit to Prezzo was let down by slow service, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Staff seemed distracted doing their own thing. The food itself was bland and lacked any real flavour, especially considering how overpriced it was. Overall, it felt like poor value for money considering the food was basic and bland and not worth the trip. Will not be returning
Not the best of service, could not set up a tab for our drinks and meal had to pay separate, when waitress came to take drinks order was told only Gordon’s gin and pink gin and Aber falls asked if any raspberry gin answer was no, when leaving seen a hole shelf full of different gins. I ordered mozzarella and haddock fish cakes I was given mozzarella sticks, my husband ordered a 12oz gamon which was no bigger than a beef burger definitely not 12oz, waited over half an hour after eating main meal to have to go find someone to order puddings to then be told kitchen is closed. Waitress could do with a smile and knowledge of what drinks are behind the bar and chef needs to learn weight of the meats before being advertised. Definitely won’t be going again
