Had a lovely carvery meal on Sunday with my parents/ family. Mum was in a wheelchair, and they were very accommodating. The carvery was very tasty & thoroughly enjoyed . Very lovely blueberry cheesecake. Been many times and their cheesecake have been different types and have always been wonderful . Fantastic couple run it Phil & Cath very welcoming. Staff are always polite & courteous. Would recommend

Friendly service, delicious food reasonably priced, really worth a visit

Called in for food on Saturday afternoon. The service was great, food was delicious and a good selection in the menu. Good sized beer garden with plenty of tables. Definitely a place to visit.

A very friendly place. The staff are welcoming and the service was great. Go here quite often, the coffee is piping hot which is a real plus and really rare. Lovely cakes, all sorts on the menu for all appetites and tastes.

Very nicely cooked cod and chips. Friendly staff. We witnessed them scrupulously cleaning the kebab stand while we waited. Very large cod and huge portions of chips - we ordered 2 medium portions between 2 adults and 2 children and still couldn't finish them all!

Unbelievably good service and fabulous food - especially for a busy Friday night and that we were a party of 12. Really enjoyed our evening there. It was faultless - thank you

Tiny piece of sea bass. A few potatoes, nothing else as main course was very disappointed.

Great place for a breakfast stop off on the way to South Wales

This meal was a most disappointing experience. We chose the a la carte menu as opposed to the taster menu. Howver, after being served with a starter and main course, we felt we had no more food than could be described as a taster and that is being generous. Whilst the food was beautifully presented and what we had was delicious, especially the bread, we left feeling hungry. We don't look for large portions but also expect to have more food than what you would feed to a one year old baby. We have eaten in many fine dining restaurants and this was not an a la carte meal. Needless to say we will not be visiting again.
