Lovely authentic little pub. Alan was a very friendly host. It was great to find out about the history of the pub. If you find yourself off the beaten tourist track, pop on for a wee dram.

Recommended by friend, we came here for the girls talk 🗣️ from Edinburgh city .
The restaurant is clean and the staff served us very well . Staff very nice and always welcome us. Here has variety of Dim Sums you can choose. The food is 90s’ Hong Kong restaurant food taste which you are really difficult to find it in Hong Kong now. Worth to come again and try another food.
1. crispy seasame shrimp roll
2. Pan-fry Bun
3. crispy radish puff with truffle sauce
4. lamb stew
5. cheung fun
My trucker son asked us to check this truck stop for him last year and we never got. Sadly he passed before ge could check it out but I can honestly say he missed out. The food was top notch... dont often get 13 pieces of scampi ! The staff were friendly, the toilets immaculately clean - you wouldnt think you were in a 'truck stop'. Would highly recommend to both truckers and families
we were regulars here and brought a friend on Friday

I stayed 1 night here while walking the West Highland Way. Lovely double room by the stream (might be a bit midget earlier in the year). Shared shower room, but with just one other room.
Clean, warm and comfortable. Good WiFi.
Dinner in the Top Bunk was great. Venison stew with dumplings and garlic potatoes. One of the best meals of my trip.
A most charming and welcoming place. The best little campsite along the whole of the WHW. We camped there for one night and were welcomed with open arms. Ross picked us up from Inversnaid Hotel and drove us up the hill to the accommodation. After a beer and a wonderful hot and relaxing shower we had a most delicious meal in their cosy licensed restaurant. The breakfast was fresh and healthy and we opted for a packed lunch for the way - a generously filled roll and a delicious homemade flapjack. Everyone who works there was open, friendly and helpful and worked hand in hand - a perfect team!
Excellent friendly staff and a good range of options for sandwiches and toasties .Good location next to the Castle too so definitely recommend for a bite to eat while visiting Rothesay.
Before we arrived had speedy replies ro any questions, owner called us on the day to check when we would be arriving as he had to pop out and didn't want to miss us.
On arrival we were met by Emma who was just so friendly helpful and smiley we booked breakfast for the next day for £8 each.
We went to the bistro for tea prices of drinks reasonable and for the size of the portions of food the price reasonable again we were served well by Emma.
The room was fairly clean and comfortable peeling borders on the walls weren't great and folder on window ledge was quite dusty but otherwise room spot on. Loved the history of the navaar and how they tried to incorporate within the decorations in the room. Was very shocked to arrive back after a day in Edinburgh to find the room had been service and supplies restocked really nice touch. Could hear the bus going passed quite early in the morning but I'm a very light sleeper.
Very friendly ( Dogs too) club house . Staff and regulars were warm & welcoming and the Cullen Skink was the best I’ve ever had. I’m sure my serving had lobster in it! . Right beside the beach . And massive car park
I came in here for breakfast after leaving my son's car at a garage. As their first customer, I was able to choose a table near the living flame gas fire. There was a small bottle of sterile sanitiser on each table along with "Track and Protect" cards and a pen to use with them. I ordered a full Scottish breakfast with a large cappuccino and a glass of water. It wasn't long before everything arrived. The breakfast was well cooked and presented, the coffee was in a large mug with the frothy milk and chocolate on top and the water was in a large glass with ice.The waitress was polite and friendly.I could not have asked for anything to have improved my breakfast and the experience.I can thoroughly recommend Pandora in Ayr for a "Perfect Start" to your day.
Excellent Tai curry with my first tofu made with care , my wife had home made tomato soup with a freshly ( egg was still warm ) made egg sandwich. We will be back
