Lovely authentic little pub. Alan was a very friendly host. It was great to find out about the history of the pub. If you find yourself off the beaten tourist track, pop on for a wee dram.

Walked past this pub many many times, so finally got round to having a quick drink in there on the way home from night out. What can you say well its a proper local boozer. Decent friendly banter from the locals, the bar staff have sharp sense of humour. The beer selection is standard for this type of place, but the prices are fair. The decor has not changed since the 70's/80's but I prefer that to the modern pubs that try and fail to emulate it.

We arrived in Leith and this was the closest pub to where we was staying. The atmosphere is brilliant and the people are so friendly it's the best bar we've visited so far this weekend! Thank you again!

Great little working man's pub with a good selection of drinks on tap at very good prices for attracting customers from the nearby Leith Links. Staff are quick to serve you without being pushy and well worth a visit.

Great, friendly local with a touch of horse racing. Brilliant staff to be true and a good local crowd. Seems daft it's taken nearly 10 years to visit a pub less than 1km away from me. I'll be back😉

Best pub I have been to in years. Stopped by as I was in the area. People couldn't have been nicer. Lovely fireplace. Great atmosphere. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Just a decent neighborhood pub with reasonably priced drinks, good music and friendly staff.

Ni foot, ni rugby mais sous le thème des courses hippiques, casaques et photos... Mais c'est un pub de quartier really scotich ! 2m linéaire de tireuse à bière, un petit assortiment de whisky mais aussi de rhum et de vodka, des télés partout et du bruit... un pub quoi ! La Guiness à la pinte est bonne et bien tirée.

Decent atmosphere with good patrons

Un bon moment avec de la bonne bière dans un lieu typique. Vous y croiserez des écossais qui parlent fort ou qui ne parlent pas....la vie quoi?

Great little bar near the park. Always full of locals playing good music on the juke box. Had a good chat with Sam the bartender. Just a heads up, no kids allowed!

Outstanding service in this cosy, local pub. Whenever you're there for a first or hundredth time you will love the service. Placed not far from city centre and in the heart of Leith make it easy to find and a great place to relax and maybe watch a game or a race. Occupied mostly by locals, but everyone's welcome. Not your typical "local pub" for tourists. It's the authentic local pub.

A Real pub... A good range of beers. Whiskey selection not to bad either? A locals pub, bit off the beaten track, but only five minutes walk from bottom of Leith Walk. Worth a visit.
