Best food I've had anywhere in ages... And such a lovely atmosphere

Delicious, to be honest, very clean, real home made food, good service, downtown and halal. I will return to it, to be honest.

The staff were very friendly and accomadating however, the starter of babaganoush was below average and the main of mixed grill and chips was average. Overall the price seemed a little high for the quality of food and portion size. The atmosphere and the amazing staff working did make the whole experience enjoyable even if the food was fairly good.

Food is quite tasty, the sausage is really nice but was a bit too expensive. Like over £6 for 2! Would try again, food was tasty. But took a bit of time

I had my lunch here, It was amazing, The taste of the dish was the same as I ate 4 years ago in Turkey. The atmosphere reminds me of Eastern as it is so warm. Staffs very welcoming and nice. Highly recommend it.

Ordered mixed grill . No value for money . Small amount of food without Turkish bread or sauces , just a small amount of rice . Never again

I had sucuk in appetizers which was good. The Iskander lamb wasn't similar to one I've had in other places and the portions were low. I like the presentation of chocolate ice-cream. Service could be much better if the server reached out asking if anything is needed or for the bill rather the customer calling out.

This Turkish bbq restaurant is AMAZING. First time trying authentic Turkish cuisine and food was spectacular! The owners are one of the most friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. I loved my meal which was the Garlic Mushrooms, Kaburga, and Lokum. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Very delicious authentic Turkish food. The owners are very friendly and the interior makes you feel like in the famous Turkish Bazar. We are from Germany and will definitely come here again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

An excellent restaurant in terms of quality of food, location and service. When their staff found out that I was Arab, they offered me free tea and sweets for the children and were very polite.

Best Turkish restaurant in Edinburgh

We turned up to eat in person and were swiftly welcomed by the friendly staff. The meze selection looked fantastic, but we instead took individual mains - I had the “Ottoman Special” which came in an earth-ware pot. All of the food tasted great and we both had a substantial dinner for a reasonable price. They had good vegetarian options as well. Would highly recommend. I imagine this restaurant would benefit greatly from an online reservation system and/or a clearer online menu, as their website is primarily focussed on online delivery and we weren’t sure before we turned up whether it would be busy or not! However, there is a good amount of space inside, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

We had a meal at Rodi’s last night. Such a warm welcome & lovely atmosphere. Food totally delicious. Would highly recommend!!

I can't say that the lamb skewer was very tasty, there was a strange spice smell coming from the back. I think they added unnecessary spices while marinating the lamb skewers. But the meatballs were delicious. I definitely recommend it to those who go.

The food is delicious, especially the barbecue. We ordered hummus, which was not good at one time because the way it is prepared is a little different from what we are used to in Saudi Arabia. The prices are good (two main dishes + hummus + Pepsi + water = 52 GBP) with free hospitality (tea 😁)

Wanted to have turkish food so order for takeaway. When my husband turn up to collect food they charge £60 saying that they have increase the price when the website was saying it was £45. Portion size was very very small. Food taste was not up to the mark

We ordered mixed grill and kebab, which they call adana. The meat and chicken were very delicious. We also ordered hummus. All dishes came with a salad, and after eating, they offered us a warm tea.

I am traveling through Scotland and was happy to see something that is not fish and chips or carry. Cozy restaurant. Reasonably priced. The lady was wonderful and hospitable. According to what they say, they are Turkish Muslims. It is one of the best restaurants I have tried in Britain and of course worth a visit.

Falafel was good, king prawns was overpriced and bad. Chicken wings were average.

We found the place by chance, decided to try it and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, Turkish beer (Efe) was flavorful and refreshing. It’s a small place, decore is sparse but service was excellent. The location is close to Haymaker station and a few minutes from the Royal Mile. We recommend it.

The best, most flavorfull food I've had in the three weeks I've been in the UK. Grilled chicken was so good, and it came with a side salad with an oil and vinegar dressing with sweet pomegranate flavor. Finish with baklava and Turkish tea. Meat dishes were very generous and my friend and I could have easily split one.

We recommend it if you miss Turkish food in far away places. We ate Chicken Ali kindly, it was a little different from the taste we are used to, but it was still good. Mehmet Bey's son Emir's smiling face and conversation were very good for us. Thank you also for the tea offer.

Didn’t have a booking but they kindly squeezed us in on a very busy Saturday night. The staff did not stop serving with all tables full! Food was absolutely delicious, served piping hot. I had the chicken wings for a main course, fantastic! Highly recommend…

We went to Rodi Turkish over the weekend for lunch, we ordered the mixed grill, it cost £25 we thought it was on the expensive side but thought the portions were going to be generous. After receiving the meal it was underwhelming, there were only a couple of chicken tikka, lamb Tikka and a couple of ribs. For £25 that is extortion! And the chips was £5 for literally a bit. The service was decent and the waiters were attentive. Didn't enjoy the atmosphere, the chairs were very uncomfortable. Overall wouldn't recommend unless you want to be ripped off.

Very tasty dishes, and even ayran is available! I was so happy to be able to experience a bit of Türkiye in Edinburgh :) And the place is run by very lovely people 🙏

Good size portion of fresh tender pieces of lamb, very small portion of Baba ganus, the Patlican tractor was horrible just yogurt with a lot of mint no aubergine to be seen or any garlic in it. Mince borek very nice but they looked more like Chinese spring rolls
