We are regular visitors to vanilla joes where they make their ice cream on the premises. Loads of different flavours available. We both had a double cone and then went back for another double cone since we donât get over there very often. We had pistachio ice cream, and strawberry cheesecake ice cream and Scottish tablet, with Belgium chocolate the second time round. They are nicely served in a quality cone with a lovely wafer.

Visited Ronzo for the first time and we're seated promptly, first at the window which was spacious enough but were then given a table as soon as one became available. We were served quickly and the food and drinks were excellent. The "Ronzio Stack" was lovely and they altered it to my own picky taste! The sugo really added something different and the Halloumi plate was apparently very nice as well. The servers were polite and we left full to the brim and happy - couldn't pick a better place for a lunch spot in the area.
Lovely meal, had a prawn cocktail, steak fajitas and a strawberry soft meringue roulade. All spot on. The main bar was in good spirits, but for quiet meals the separate dinning room is a nice contrast. Lastly the service, really good, friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.
Went in for breakfast and received a bagel that was soaking wet with microwaved egg that cost ÂŁ8. Asked for a toasted scone and was told it could be microwaved - not sure why it would be hard to pop it in the toaster or under grill considering you can get toasted ciabatta etc for lunch. Coffees were fine, very very hot. Donât think weâd return which is a shame considering all the good reviews!

Haven't been to the Moonfish in some time but was delighted to be back for lunch. The set menu was great and the food and service was excellent. The meal was rounded off with the most amazing desert I have had in years, almost ordered another! Only drawback is that it's always busy and difficult to get a table.. Reservations ahead of time are a must... I need to be more organised!
A "hidden gem" in Edinburgh's Newtown with a friendly crowd of all ages. Lovely & beautiful staff are an added bonus. Perfect beats provided by Tribal Funktion DJ, George. I will definitely be back when I'm in that part of town. đ
Fabulous Cozy and Welcoming With exceptional food. Lovely ambience - the chicken skewers with curry were to die for. Reasonably priced with a menu to cater for all tastes.
