This coffee shop is well worth a visit lovely cake soup lovely breakfast and sandwiches lovely no complaints at all good

Popped here with my dog whilst waiting for friends to finish their tour of Oban distillery which is just over the road. The lady that served me explained they had been trialling dogs out on the cafe and I was very appreciative of being able to sit inside as it was raining pretty heavily outside. What a find! The cafe was lovely, very homely and warm. I had a coffee and slice of millionaires shortbread and my dog had a wonderful sleep on the tartan carpet under our table. He’s was extremely happy, as was I. I can’t recommend enough, all the staff were really accommodating and friendly, and the coffee was perfect, and food was delicious.

This café was recommended to us. The coffee was good and cake a very pleasant surprise. Our first visit was after lunch and the café felt a bit stuffy so we sat outside. Nice view across the bay. Our second visit was just after opening and sat inside without any problems. We even went back for a third time. Coffee was consistently good and the cakes were delightful. The staff were excellent. Having popped in for afternoon tea the day before - very cosy environment and very good tea & cakes - we returned the day after for lunch. Again, very good fare and good ambience. just off the main drag, and clearly popular with many, yet retaining its charm and relaxing atmosphere. One definitely to revisit when we're next in town!

It was a just by chance, but such wonderful food the scones we had were made that day everyone who were there we’re all enjoying their food if we were this way again we would be happy to come back.

A small but cosy tea shop right opposite Oban distillery, an ideal place for breakfast or afternoon tea. A good selection of cakes and pastries, sandwiches and small meals, including a full cooked breakfast. All good is freshly prepared to order in the tiny kitchen so be patient. We waited just over ten minutes for scrambled egg on toast, during a busy morning when the eaterie was full, which wasn’t too bad. Friendly, homely and tasty.

Had breakfast here one morning on my solo trip to Oban and I loved it! Coffee was delicious and the bacon roll was lovely and fresh.. will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing afternoon tea. I took my mum out for her birthday and she had an amazing time. The service was outstanding, with staff giving my mum a little extra suprise off a cupcake with a wee candle, done off their own back. The food was all freshly made and baked with plenty of choice ( too much for both of us ) but what was left was boxed and given away with us. Thank you for making my mum's special day that little bit more special. I would highly recommend visiting for lunch or even a coffee and some home baking.

A local suggested we go to Julie’s for a coffee and snack, what a great suggestion! There were multiple options for sandwiches, sweets and even gluten free items. The food was fresh and fantastic.

Great double espresso and the granola, fresh berries & yoghurt where perfect, a generous serve. The cheese scone was slightly warmed and lovely. Friendly, efficient and attentive staff in a relaxed environment. Would recommend a visit. Other guests had eaten breakfast there the day before, repeat tourist customers, says it all.

Wat een heerlijke plek om je middag door te brengen. Helemaal als het regent. De lunch was fantastisch. De Thai Latte en cappuccino ook. Gezellige drukte, leuk uitzicht tegenover de eeuwenoude Whisky-distilleerderij. En personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Lovely lunch and GLUTEN FREE not a problem, great service very very pleasant staff well worth a visit.

Convenient location, opposite distillery. Cosy, with about 8 tables indoors. Good selection of cooked food and bakes. I had the bagel with scrambled egg and smoked salmon. It was so good I visited again and had the same. Treated myself to a fruit scone too on the 2nd trip. Generous with raisins etc. Good with butter.

My wife, grandmother and I discovered this purely by chance during our visit this past weekend and came in for breakfast on Saturday morning. It was very warm and welcoming and the staff were fantastic! We all had salmon bagels and were all great too. This has become my new favourite find in Oban and I can’t wait to come back! Would highly recommend!

Found this hidden of the main high street and wow what a find. We were greated with a walk welcome as we arrived in our mad wooly hats and despite there being five of us they found us a table. The food was amazing, freshly made with quality ingredients and all great value for money. Highly recommended for home cooked quality food

We were in a hurry and wanted a quick meal before we were going on a boat excursion in Oban. Popped in to Julie's Coffee Shop, the space inside was small but were able to be seated. I ordered Leek and Ham soup and Hubby ordered the Tuna Sandwich. Loved my soup and he liked his sandwich.

The place is kind of small but very cozy (make sure to come early to get a table !), the food is great and the staff is lovely. Thank you for the warm welcome:)

Lovely staff and a very nice menu. Although a small establishment they were able to cater for my daughter who has m severe gluten and dairy allergies. Food freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Vegan Falfel & Hummus wrapped so perfectly each bite, so yummy the service was genuine and friendly.

Came here for a light lunch. Unfortunately, inside was busy, so we sat outside. This was fine, even though it was raining, as they have an awning which sufficiently shelters the outdoor seating. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ordered soup, and a toastie. The soup was ham and lentil, which was tasty, warming and filling. We also had a milkshake, which was very chocolaty- perfect! A lovely place to go for a little lunch. Definitely recommended.

Great little place across from Oban distillery in the centre, very busy place. Food was lovely service very good and you can refill your water bottles here. Just make sure you book or get in early as it gets busy. Closed on Sunday

This was the only place that we visited where staff sanitised the tables and chairs at regular intervals. At one point, the waitress cleaned one table twice. The cafe is situated up a side street opposite the distillery so it’s peaceful to sit outside and have a coffee, in a cup rather than in a takeaway container and a piece of cake. Carrot cake wAs delicious.

4 of us sat inside on Saturday afternoon and ordered 3 different items, 1 soup, 1 sandwich and two pieces of cake. When I asked what cake they had, the reply was they are by the counter. I did have a glimpse at them on the way in but there were more behind so just asked the question, reasonable request I thought. I the. Got up again and walked over, now considering COVID is about and that social distancing is paramount I did expect the waitress to at least tell me so I didn’t have to get up and go look for myself.Anyway, drama over I sat back down and ordered 1 carrot cake and 1 coffee and walnut cake. This is the point where this establishment earns its 4 points from me, they were wonderful cakes, if they weren’t you’d be getting a two just for the rudeness. Taking that episode aside we then got to eat what was brought to us and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Both cakes were full of flavour, great frosting, moist and of a size big enough to go with a good cup of coffee.The soup was definitely home made and came with two good chunks of bread. At the end we had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes for our bill to arrive but that could have been down to being busy somewhere else in the shop.

I had lunch, sitting outside with my dog. Their coffee was great and while I asked for a brown bread chicken sandwich, and got the right filling on white bread, I wouldn’t say it spoiled or detracted from my experience! The empire biscuit was incredible.

We did a slight detour via Oban on our way from Arrochar to Glencoe. We wanted something to eat and found this lovely little cafe. I had a tasty toasted sandwich and my husband had a very fresh prawn salad. Service was warm and friendly. We didn’t have a cake but they looked delicious. Great wee place for Tea Coffee Or Breakfast. It's in a public courtyard across from the entrance to the distillery so away from most traffic noise and breeze. Food was great (we had breakfast most mornings of our visit. Round slice sausage and toppings). Service good and friendly.

We bumped into this place which was conveniently opposite the Obama distillery where we could wait and were treated to delicious cakes and coffee by lovely ladies, perfect.

All the staff here were so friendly .The breakfast was fantastic its normally hard to get a good vegetarian option so was great to get this .

A friend and I decided to treat ourselves for Christmas and booked Afternoon Tea at Julie’s. We were visually impressed with the beautiful display of savouries and dainties placed before us. Are taste buds weren’t let down either, there was a variety of tastes all were light tasteful and beautifully decorated. Just to Finnish the fabulous experience we were given boxes to take any leftovers home. Thank you guys we will be back. Merry Christmas.

Popped in for a bite, found this cosy little place amazing! Warm and friendly staff, great covid safe practices. Food was beautiful, home cooked cakes and soups, with wonderful fresh toasties. Very welcome on a wet day, hot fresh coffee and many other delights, highly recommend a visit.

Saw this place by chance and so glad we did. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of vegetarian options and excellent coffee. Kept these two hikers well fed 😊 their buns also looked excellent although we were far to full! Thanks and we’ll be back!

Would definitely recommend visiting Julie's. Had a lovely lunch, good choices and very friendly service. Especially impressed by their cleaning regime between customers, even every spindle on the chair. Please support the small independent business

Solo teníamos que dejar una reseña ya que solo estábamos buscando un café rápido y un pastel. Está ocupado por una razón, el homebaking realmente es para morirse, incluso estábamos felices sentados afuera bajo la lluvia con él. Obviamente, el personal está muy ocupado, pero aún así es muy amable, volverá cuando estemos en la zona :)
