The best restaurants in Scotland

Came for lunch and the food was incredible. These guys know how to serve chicken!!!! Loved it.

I had a really disappointing experience here. The service was extremely poor, with staff who seemed entirely disinterested and made serious mistakes, including forgetting one person's main course entirely. This significantly impacted the meal. While the food was good in flavor, portion sizes were inconsistent — some dishes were well-sized, while others were extremely small. Some of our table were well fed while others had main courses that were like starters and left hungry. Unfortunately, it was a very poor dining experience that didn’t meet expectations.

This restaurant is a Gem. From start to finish the service was gracious, professional and friendly. Great wine list. Lamb & Bleu cheese bon bons very tasty. Mains of tempura haddock and the cod had a great unique taste. Tempura broccoli and the potatoes dauphinoise were an additional plus. Bread & butter pudding was exquisite. Very rich Americano coffee to end the meal. We will be back

I stayed 1 night after doing the Mabie Mountain bike trails, awesome location right on the trail head.I mistakenly put the wrong date in when booking(I'm a idiot)but it wasn't a problem at all.The room was lovely and clean with a nice hot shower.Food was superb especially the Black pudding Scotch egg,the burger was awesome also.Great hotel and great staff.

One of our favourite pizza places in the UK! Fast service, superb choice of toppings on a very special pizza base. And not hugely expensive too... fab!!

Best restaurant in Dumfries food is fantastic and the service is even better! Lovely family run business.

An outdoor pool, open all year, what's not to like?

Absolutely phenomenal food. Stayed in Inverness for a couple nights so researched ahead of time to make an advance booking (highly recommend). We did a mixture of cocktails/mocktails, small plates, and a main. Everything was delicious - duck spring rolls, dumplings, salt/chili squid, bao, and curry. I only wish I had left room for dessert! The staff were so kind as well. Don't miss this gem!

Amazing food and service - the garlic naan was especially great. Prices are very reasonable!

Visited with friends after eating nearby. Friendly staff, managed to get a seat, in wee lounge, nice atmosphere, nice pictures of bridge and harbour area, njoyed our drinks and visit. :)

La amable bienvenida junto con la ubicación tranquila hicieron de esta una estancia muy agradable. Los propietarios no podían hacer lo suficiente por nosotros cuando no nos encontrábamos muy bien e incluso compraron nuestras comidas arriba al conservatorio para facilitarnos las cosas. La habitación era un buen tamaño y tenía una hermosa vista sobre el paseo marítimo.
