Had a lovely meal at Bruno’s while visiting the area. Great food and service. Would recommend but perhaps a good idea to book at busy times. We visited a random Sunday in January and had to wait 20 mins on a table.

Lovely meal just a pity there was a large party of gents so a quiet meal for 2 was not on the cards, food was excellent.

My family use to be regular customers for over thirty years. The food is delicious just like thirty years ago.

Just had an absolutely stunning meal with my daughter for her 18th birthday and my 20yr old son. The food was amazing, service was great from the two Waiter's, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant too. Can't wait to return. Missing from the photos is the Garlic Focaccia, this was so good we ate it too quick 🥰

Lovely meal at brunos lovely staff

My husband and I were at Bruno's tonight for a meal. It was fantastic. The bruschetta was beautiful. The cannelloni and lemon sole were cooked to perfection. The service was immaculate. One of the best meals we have ever had. 5 stars . We will be back. Will certainly recommend.

What a place! If you want to enjoy the best Italian food in Dumfries you would do very well to visit Bruno’s. It’s a lovely place, great staff and food is just wonderful. Two things let it down. The first is the on street parking. Nothing can be done about it but it is something to be aware of. The second thing is, it is not good for wheelchair users. A great shame to be excluded from such a nice venue.

The food was excellent,the staff were very efficient,nothing was a problem to them. We will definitely return.

Came home for something to eat,expensive small portions and a promise to do better next time? Won't be going again ! Sand in my prawns ( not cleaned properly) and sauted potatoes ( chips with a spatter of garnish ) same chips 2nd time ,not great complained in first instance to be met by that's how we do them 2nd lot my husband ate as he was still hungry,and he likes chips,, I Did NOT... money for old rope ,salty food very little of it .Making toast ,,,starving

We went midweek, they had a 2 courses for £22.50 deal on. Food was excellent quality, tasted good and was presented well. Parking is on street only, but we didn't struggle to get parked.

Had a table booked tonight for myself and my mum, we both had a great time and the food was delicious. The service was spot on and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so relaxing. I had the mussels with tomato chili and garlic too start with Panzanelli this was so tasty drank a bottle of Peroni with this as it went well. My main course was the Ribi steak which was cooked to perfection along with salad and chips,iam a big guy and I was struggling towards the end,shared a Banoffee pie with my mum for dessert it also was terrific 👍 would absolutely recommend Bruno's too everyone else just remembered to book in advance. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Never had a bad time at Bruno's! Staff are always extremely polite and professional, no matter what you order the food is always amazing ! We were lucky enough to have gone when they had Cacio e pepe as a special and it was fantastic! Impossible to find anywhere outside of Rome ! Panzenelle as a starter will never fail and is always a good portion! 10/10

Bruno's has to be the best Italian in Dumfries. The food was excellent and the friendly staff and atmosphere made our visit first class. Their steaks are the best I've ever had.

Stayed overnight in Dumfries and decided to eat Italian, checked on line and found Bruno’s with high rating reviews, so decided on checking it out. I wasn’t disappointed, the food was excellent, the staff very attentive and the atmosphere great. I will definitely be going back when I’m next in the area.

We were down on holiday from Ayrshire found this wee Italian restaurant also came recommended from taxi driver too , food fantastic couldn't fault , lovely restaurant and atmosphere staff friendly cheery helpful . Would recommend a visit worth more than 5stars.

First time to Bruno's, but we will definitely go again when in Dumfries. Warm friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The food speaks for it self, best Italian we have had in ages.

Great service from the moment you arrive till you leave, great food and a good ambience in the restaurant. Well worth a visit if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Why why why do restaurants advertise on Google Maps the wrong opening times. We just drove half an hour to eat here to be told at 2110 they were closing... I said your Google Maps page says 2200 to which they replied, I know but nothing we can do about it. Absolute joke.... !

Food was perfect but the service was a little slow.

Had steak, I a can honestly say its the best steak I've had in years. Food and staff were absolutely superb.

The food was fantastic but I feel that the restaurant needs a bit upgrading, the staff were lovely and friendly but I felt that they were a bit understaffed as we waited a long time between our starters and main meal. It wouldn't stop me going back because the food was excellent and we did enjoy our night out.

First time dinning at Bruno's while on a weekend in the area visiting friends. Nice sized restaurant with a good selection of food and drink. There were plenty of people already in when we arrived but a nice relaxed atmosphere and vibe. Personally I had the Bruschetta and Ribeye steak. Both dishes were cooked and presented perfectly. The steak was by far the best Ribeye I've experienced dinning out. Ordered rare and it just melted with every bit (also a huge cut) so compliments to the chef 👍🏻 look forward to my next weekend up there. Will definitely go nowhere else but Brunos. 10/10

Food was amazing, but slightly expensive. Worth it in my opinion. Would return in a heartbeat.

Steaks were really tender and well cooked. We had mixed cold meats for starter, which were nice but could have been presented with a selection of Italian bread rather than deep-fried pizza dough. Service was quite slow but tge waiters were very helpful and friendly and to be fair the restaurant was packed out, including a large group on a christmas party. Excellent meal overall but could do with a better choice of deserts.

Nice food good service but a bit pricey

Fantastic food well served. The guys work hard to welcome and advise and serve without rush or fuss or unnecessary delay. Great choice of food, wine and coffee. Top place for an evening out.

Lovely staff and they did adapt a meal to be dairy free for me but the food was way too salty to enjoy! The chef seems to have replaced flavour with salt we'd expect some sort of natural flavours through basil or olive oil but instead the food just tasted of salt. It isn't expensive to grow or buy basil or oregano these are the things you'd expect to taste. Not a boat load of salt.

Wonderful Italian food and a lovely atmosphere. Attentive and smiley team to add even further to the experience. I have also sampled the pizzas to take away and these we perfect, ingredient filled, crispy thin base. Absolutely spot on. To add we have had many fantastic takeaways as well!

Great atmosphere, friendly wait team and delicious food. I had pasta and my kids had pizza, there was nothing left of either and for desert we had sticky toffee pudding and fresh fruit salad.

Traditional Italian and "the Brunos boys" are some of the most polite servers in Dumfries. Tiramasu to die for!

We went to Brunos whilst staying in a cabin in Dumfries and it was fantastic. We shared the fried pizza dough with dips as a starter and they were great so moreish. I had the Pollo alla crema and it was delicious. It came with your choice of potatoes and salad or veg all served in nice wee side dishes. Would highly recommend this place and we will be back if we are in the area again.
