Excellent dining experience and an amazing menu. The service was top quality, the food was some of the best I've ever had and the servers were incredibly accommodating. Even on a busy Saturday night the service was incredible and quick. We informed them of allergies and they were very good at communicating with us and ensuring that there was no cross-contamination. Overall 10/10 experience, brilliant restaurant and will be coming back again.

Very authentic food and freshly prepared. But the waiting time was too long and the place is quite small, hence it's tightly packed on any busy evenings.

We love TOHK! We visited Aberdeen for two nights. Saw the rave reviews online so tried it out. It’s so good we ate dinner there both nights! The ladies serving are so sweet and gave us great advice to visit Stonehaven. Some of the best Cantonese we’ve had! Don’t pass this one up.

Great little independent, tucked away in Adelphi. Has plenty seating, really fast service, friendly team. Food tasted fresh and poached with flavour. I will come back!

I checked out the menu ahead of time so had a fair idea of what I was going to order. Luckily for me I was dining with friends so I could taste starters beyond my own choice. All were amazing, the calamari, spring rolls, spicy dips, crispy dumplings. The main courses did not disappoint, I should have been stuffed after eating much more than I planned to already but I managed to policy off the homemade dumpling which were absolutely delicious. What really sets this place apart is the bright, clean atmosphere and the friendly service. We felt we were amongst friends as we were catered for with genuine kindness. We will be back

What a gem of a place - so glad we found it! There was a lovely laid back atmosphere and we were well looked after by the hosts. I managed to eat with chopsticks and got a free pair to take home! The food was delicious and plentiful, and we rolled out of the door happily. We will return!!

It is a delicious restaurant with good value for money. The roast duck has crispy skin, the roast pork is soft and delicious, and the noodles are tasty. It is a Chinese restaurant that makes everyone think of home.

Real Hongkong authentic food in Aberdeen

Xiduolin is about to explode, my department will explode. Barbecue pork, roast duck, and beef brisket are all served with firewood.

Always a warm welcome, followed by authentic, tasty food. It's a small café, but has a nice, friendly atmosphere.

I am a bit disappointed by the lo mien because the chicken broth is very salty but the noodle is good. The food is 8/10 in general. I will revisit and try out different food items!

Perfect Spot for My Daily Chinese Food Fix! Whenever I'm in the area and craving Chinese / Hong Kong foods, I head straight here-it's practically my go-to spot for an almost everyday dinner. The flavors are just right, bringing out that comforting, authentic taste of Chinese cuisine. Every dish feels perfectly balanced, and the variety keeps me excited to come back each time.

Staff are kind and lovely, and food steals the show. Definitely coming back!

My partners mum had taken us here for dinner. The restaurant is close to her heart and she was telling me that she comes often. Such a lovely place and great team who made us feel so welcome. The food was really good. I had the tofu which was really tasty as well as it being my first time having Ho Fun which was really creamy and I left feeling full and happy. The rest of the food looked delicious too. Going to take some friends to the hidden treasure soon.

Did not expect this jem in such a backwater.

I had the bbq pork and duck. The pork was good and the duck was definitely grilled since most of the fat had been cooked out of it (good) but it was overcooked. Some of the meat was charred and some was hard and dry. So it was an average for food quality. The staff were very nice people. It was a little over priced for the quality.

The level of spice is out of this world... not as aromatic as the Thai food, it's more of the heat that builds over each chop stick rammed into my face is outstanding!!! The owner speaks to each table even though she cooks EVERY dish!!!! Small, fast paced and a secret in Aberdeen!!!!

Very good experience in this little restaurant today. I was slightly disappointed by the mixed vegetable with garlic which were not very tasty. But the service was outstanding, the staff very friendly, helpful, and attentionate. The prices are also very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will likely go back.

If you're keen to try this place out, highly recommend calling to book a table as the restaurant is small and fills up quick! Glad we tried it again after our first experience when they were still in the market; their portions are now bigger and tastier. Their Peking duck is worth trying; succulent and flavourful. Their dim sum are made in house and they are delightful ❤️ they also make their own chilli oil & it certainly packs a punch. The location isn't desirable & you might meet the odd users or two; good to have your wits about you. The restaurant itself is small, so patrons are 'on top of each other' and you can hear everyone's conversation whether you like it or not 😅 Due to the size & popularity, sometimes they can have big groups which leads to a slow service. There is no 'waiting area' if you wanted to stay and wait for a table. Staff are friendly and helpful, very welcoming and seem like they have a few regulars which says a lot. Will miss this place for Cantonese cuisine, always left content & stuffed with delicious food. Would visit again when we find ourselves back in Aberdeen, thank you Taste of Hong Kong team ✨.

Honestly, one of the best restaurants in the city. Hidden down a questionable back alley, you’ll find the most amazing gem. You should probably book as they’re always busy, but the food is well worth it. So affordable for the giant portion sizes and everything tastes fresh and delicious. You almost wish the menu was smaller because there are too many fantastic options. Just go.

Almost don’t want to share how good this place is to keep it for myself🤣. Relaxed cafe style atmosphere but the real stars here are the staff and the food. I went yesterday and wondering if it is too soon to go back today! Dumplings to start, great portion of them, recommend the chili sauce with them too. Then the roast duck and bbq pork, absolutely sublime.

Best Chinese food in the UK. Small family run restaurant but food standard deserving of a Michelin star.

Phoned in at 7pm to check for availability and got a quick booking for about 20 minutes later. Food and service both exceptional. Broth absolutely amazing as well, started with Salt N Pepper chicken strips, dumplings, wonton and rice noodles with broth - all amazing, wontons did have a bit of excess pastry but still really nice. For mains we went for honey chilli battered prawns - prawns were prefect sauce was very nice but had a real kick to it so beware if you are used to the sweeter version of it that most places sell. Sweet sour battered chicken was also really nice but the sauce was a little lacking in flavour, almost as if it had been overly balanced and ended up being very neutral with just a slight sour note. Word of warning they are VERY popular so would definitely recommend booking in advance, however they do seem to offer takeaway also.

This small restaurant is through an archway off the main street and maybe does not give its best from the outside, but the food is absolutely fantastic!! It is a street food type cafe with not many tables and is run but a husband, who is the chef and wife front of house. The food tasted amazing, hot, freshly cooked which awakened the taste buds! We love Chinese food, and this was THE BEST we have tasted since we moved to Scotland four years ago!! Please open a restaurant near to us in Inverness!! We shall definitely return just to eat in The Taste of Hong Kong.

It was by far, the best roasted duck we ever had in UK. All food that we ordered - the wanton soup, dumpling, fried rice with beef brisket and the shrimp noodles are all awesome. The staff are friendly and courteous. Definitely coming back.

Beautiful food, lovely service and surroundings, the staff are incredible and will go above and beyond to cater to needs and make you feel welcome, it’s become like a second home. Highly recommend the noodles in soup and homemade dumplings. We’ve never to this day had a bad meal (and we’ve been a lot!)
