Muzo’s Turkish Kitchen in Aberdeen City

This is one of my favorite places in Aberdeen — I absolutely love it! The food is consistently fantastic, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. However, the overall vibe of the restaurant doesn't quite match the quality of the food. The interior design is very basic and unfortunately feels more like a canteen than a proper restaurant. I highly recommend investing in a professional interior designer to upgrade the space and bring the ambiance up to the same high standard as the food. With the right atmosphere, this place could easily become the best dining spot in Aberdeen!

We ent in just as last orders. The spaghetti and prawn special was mm. Will def be back. The staff were lovely.

I had my birthday celebration dinner here with a big group of friends. The food - absolutely delicious!! ❤️❤️❤️the service - super friendly and efficient!! 👍👍Vika was our waitress and she is a sweet friend - she was a superstar and organised balloons and got our drinks order just right (there was a lot!). She was right on time with bringing out my surprise birthday cake and serving it up to the guests. What a wonderful time we all had. 🎉🎂🎉🎂🎉🎂Everyone’s meals were incredible. So many delicious items on the menu and the consensus around the table - best Turkish food ever! Chicken and lamb so tender, super tasty and so well cooked. Rice delicious and you even get free dip and salad with bread as an appetiser. Staff are lovely and the vibe is so fun! 🥰 Really can’t praise this place enough - Love it! Oktana the service girl gave an exceptional service, her attention and attitude is second to none. I must say she did a great job and we absolutely enjoyed our lunch.

Amazing food and service as always. We visit regularly due to the food being exceptional, the service being faultless, the staff are welcoming and it’s extremely family friendly. Bozo greets us at the door with a smile and from there it’s the perfect experience. Bozo you do a fantastic job, you all do! We will always recommend to family and friends.

Prices were cheaper than we expected. All of them were wonderful, real Turkish food, the taste remained in our palate. We also liked that the staff was friendly and helpful. If you want to eat real Turkish food, this is the only place we can recommend.

Exceptional experience Visited today for a family meal Been here two times now and I love this restaurant so much due to the nice choice of food, excellent staff and lovely atmosphere. I went to Istanbul many years ago and this restaurant reminds me of that magical city. Istanbul is my favourite city and very close to my heart. The whole experience here at this restaurant takes me back there and this is very important to me. I am vegetarian and there was so many nice foods to choose from. Staff take active interest of dietary requirements and their efforts to make the guest experience truly memorable was outstanding. I travel over 400miles from Wolverhampton to see family in Aberdeen and will visit this restaurant again on my return.

Im ashamed to say but its taken us 5 yrs to come to Muzos and after having a fantastic meal we are wondering why it took so long to go, fabulous tasty food , great service and a large atmospheric restaurant right on the beachfront will make this a goto for us from now on , I had the mixed grill platter after the calamari starter and the gf had the grilled chicken breast after the halloumi and mushroom starter , just amazing flavours and colours , we will definitely be coming back as theres so much on the menu to try

Amazing Food and Service! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Halloumi Kofte to start and the Mix Shish for my main, both were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My partner had the Grilled Halloumi starter and a Falafel main, which she thoroughly enjoyed. On top of what we ordered, we also received some complimentary bread and a big plate of salad, which was a very nice touch. Bozo, who took care of us, was very friendly and made us feel truly welcome - thank you! The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the sea view was amazing. I highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back!

Had a really great time with my younger sister here. Food was very good and incredibly filling and all for £20. Our waiters Oksana was really lovely and super helpful even when we had a wee mix up with one of the dishes! Only here visiting Aberdeen but if I’m ever back, would defo return here :)

Receptive staff, catering well for elderly and children. Great options for gluten free. Sauted Prawns were great and was the chicken sish. Chicken wraps were great also from a previous visit. All in all just a great place to visit.

Today, my family and I visited this restaurant for the first time, although we had heard many great things about it from friends. And we can confidently say — everything we heard was absolutely true! In fact, I would go as far as to say that this is the best restaurant in Aberdeen. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. We were very hungry and unsure of what to order, but our wonderful waitress Oksana genuinely helped us with honest and thoughtful recommendations. It was clear that she wasn’t just trying to sell us something — she truly cared about making sure we enjoyed our meal. And we did — the portions were generous, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. A very special moment came when Oksana brought out a dessert with a candle and birthday music for our little one, whose birthday was yesterday. The whole team joined in with applause and music — it was such a touching and joyful surprise! You could truly feel how much they care about their guests. We left the restaurant with full stomachs and big smiles. Oksana’s warmth, professionalism, and sincere hospitality made our visit unforgettable. We’ve finally found our place in Aberdeen — and we won’t be trading it for any other. Thank you so much, Oksana. We’ll definitely be back!

Pretty good food just like at home . I didn't like the waitress unfortunately I don't remember her name ( blonde women) but she is quite rude without a smile and no enthusiasm for the customer. I asked the waiter if there was a menu with photos she said to go to the website online which I did but there were no photos I don't understand why she redirected me to go to the website if there are no photos. As a person who is not familiar with Turkish cuisine it was very important for me to hear advice or explanation of the composition of the dish but the waitress did not offer or explain anything. If you want to interest a customer it may be worth being more proactive and disposing of yourself with courtesy . The place is quiet and suitable for conversations and a quiet lunch.

Everything was on the highest possible level. The team was always there to help and serve. We had a birthday party at the restaurant and got the best value for money. Cudos to Ibrahim and the team

Never had a bad experience here. Food always tastes amazing, generous portions with bread, salad and dips to start. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I have recommended it many times to friends/family.

Great food, if you love you're Kebabs, so many staff, the service is fast, friendly and efficient. Staff always friendly and courteous. If I have one gripe it's the speed between courses. Next time I'll be asking for a wee break in food delivery as Main course comes soon as starter is complete. Complimentary bread, dios and Salad are yummy. Great portions, food always piping hot, very busy on a Saturday evening but never had to wait too long for a table. Parking is easy with main Carpark at Amsement area. Love it regular visits before Ice Hockey on a Saturday night.

Delicious food with vegan options on the menu. In the past I’ve ordered the okra stew with rice, which was delicious. I also ordered the bulgur wheat starter, dolma main and strawberry coconut mocktail drink. All delicious. The Turkish coffee is also very nice. Friendly waiters and good service.

Unfortunately I don't live in area I otherwise we would be here all the time. Food is fantastic the bread is so lovely and it is free with your meal. Chicken was cooked to perfection and tasted so good, the chilli dip was just spicy enough and the tamersalta was so good. Staff were excellent and so helpful and the meal was served quick as well as hot. Highly recommend

Been in for first time this afternoon with family. Everyone pleased with their choices. Really tasty food, grilled and stewed meat lovely. Free platters of salads, sauce and flat bread. Kind and knowledgeable staff. Liked a lot that they take dishes away very often and nothing is piling up on the table. Recommend 💯

We traveled to Aberdeen from Turkiye, and the moment we stepped into this restaurant, we felt like we were back home. The flavors, the atmosphere, and the warm hospitality made it an unforgettable experience. I’ve never been to such an authentic Turkish restaurant abroad before. Just discovered this incredible restaurant (it has been open for 5 years! unbeknownst to me!). Walking in, you almost enter Turkey - its bright, welcoming, friendly, spacious, very beautifully lit and well organised. There is a quiet hum of happy diners along with staff who are appropriately attentive (opposed to overly) with excellent communication with the diners and each other. This is a well- run establishment which appears to have the sole aim of ensuring each customer's dining experience is not only faultless but exemplary. The menu is one of those which causes the problem of choosing from an array of tempting dishes. Clearly written descriptions, images which resemble what you order with enough variations to suit every taste and all dietary requirements. The food is generous, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Your tastebuds will tingle and come alive with the freshness and honesty of the ingredients - no cutting of corners at all. The staff are wonderful. If you want to chat, they will, or you might want to have a more intimate dining experience. All ages, cultures, couples, groups, work nights catered for with all diners experiencing a personal and peaceful meal. This really is a find for all of the above reasons and more of the same. This is one restaurant I would urge you visit - you will return too! Thank you to the proprietors and staff for providing restaurant dining not only as it should be, but above and beyond.

We love this place. Birthdays, anniversaries, all occasions in my family are celebrated here. Food is consistently amazing. So is service. The staff always treats my toddler like a princess. If you drop your fork someone immediately brings you a fresh one. I recommend it to all my friends.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting an incredibly polite and passionate person—the manager of a Turkish restaurant, who drew me and my friends in with the irresistible aroma spreading onto the street. Our senses did not deceive us—the food is absolutely delicious, and Mr. Karahan has an amazing talent for recommending the perfect dishes. He attentively looked after us throughout our visit, even giving us tips on how to savor the flavors to truly appreciate their depth. I will definitely come back! I highly recommend this place to everyone—the atmosphere, service, aromas, and the feeling of being truly taken care of will bring me back here from London again and again. A big thank you to the entire staff!

Expected it to be what it advertises however it is overpriced for simple Middle Eastern Sham/Lebanese dishes. Was shocked as it says Turkish but the majority of dishes, are Arabic, North African Shakshuka, bamya, Egyptian Masaga (moussaka), then Middle Eastern Lebanese mtabel, Sham falafel, hummus, Tabouleh, shish and Pali kunafa and Baklawa.

We have been here several times when visiting our son at Aberdeen university and it’s a lovely restaurant. The food, atmosphere and service are all fantastic. Cafer Karahan was superb and made sure we got great service and kept us entertained!

Went here for lunch today and was absolutely blown away! Amazing dining experience! So many options to choose from ! The food was perfect and delicious! Every dish was fantastic but a special shout out to the moussaka. All the food came out at a great pace and the servers were all lovely and attentive , seriously cant reccomend enough. Service was superb and the decor was great. And price more than reasonable for the outstanding quality.

I was walking down the beach when me and my friend decided to have lunch. We stopped at a pizza place to look at the menu and at the Turkish, Cafer, the waiter invited us in with his charm and sympathy. We’re so glad he did, what a great place, the food was simply the best I’ve had in a long time. Loved Cafer, the atmosphere. The complimentary starters are to die to for too. We visit regularly. The meat is always cooked to perfection and seasoned skillfully. The service is attentive and the food always arrives quickly. The chicken shish is excellent and very healthy. A real hidden gem in this city.

The food was excellent, and the service was good overall. However, we felt a bit rushed as we visited close to closing time. While we understand the need to tidy up, the restaurant was being cleaned while we were still eating, which impacted our dining experience. The view would undoubtedly be stunning during the day, so I’d recommend visiting earlier to fully enjoy it. Nothing major to complain about, but the feeling of being hurried is the reason for the 4-star rating.

A Must-Visit Turkish Gem in Aberdeen! I recently visited Muzo's Turkish Kitchen, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The food was absolutely incredible! We started with the Mixed Cold Mezze, which was a delightful mix of flavors including hummus, tzatziki, and freshly baked flatbread. For the main course, I had the Chicken Shish —perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. My companion tried the Chicken Casserole , and the combination of tender chicken with the rich tomato sauce and yogurt was divine. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a glass of Turkish Raki and ended the evening with a sweet treat—the Baklava, paired with authentic Turkish Tea. Everything was prepared with so much love and attention to detail; you can tell the chefs take pride in their craft. If you’re in Aberdeen and looking for a culinary journey to Turkey, Muzo's Turkish Kitchen is the place to go.

Food is always amazing here and the guys working here are really great too! I don’t like to eat out in many places anymore because the quality of food isn’t always reliable and prices are usually to expensive for what you get. I think this place is great because you get an insane amount of good food and it’s healthy too for a fair price. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also super family friendly and if you want a drink with friends it’s great too.

Place is nice and big, food was tasty and the chicken shish was well marinated and moist. The 2 course lunch menu was good value. The staff were a bit fussy, whipping the starter plates away when there was still food on them or we were still chewing. Really uncomfortably loud music they play when it's someone's birthday. I get the gimmick but take it down a few notches, a bit of food nearly flew off my fork when I jumped lol...it's good though, enjoyed the meals.

Very tasty, fast and friendly service, large portions (even too large), wide selection of lunch menu, excellent efes draft. Everything is priced consistently... The neighboring TGI F... couldn't handle it (we ate there the day before). I definitely recommend it.
